COOL for the "yesteryear."

I purchased this for a 97 year - old guy who lives with my mom. Yep, 97b years old. I visited my mom one day and he noticed the headphones and tablet I had. He said "boy, I sure wish I had one of those transisitor radio things. I used to have one "back in the days. My first thought was "I'll get him one from Amazon." I ordered it, and when it arrived, I placed batteries in it, tested it out, and gave it to him. His smile was as bright as sunshine, and now he goes NO WHERE without it. The sound quality ius great for the price and the ease of use is what he my friend needs. GREAT product and the build quality is superb.

The moment I got It home I put batteries and it played right away, beautiful music, and it will let me listen to a few football games. A great little radio, kind of bring back memories of long ago, I would recommend this radio to everyone, it works great and easy to carry around.

Very clear sound.

I really like these radios. Very simple to Operate and extremely clear sound. My wife was also impressed with the clear sound. I bought these for emergency use in case of power outages. However I like them so much that I kept one out to use while I'm doing yard work, washing the car and chores around the house.
