I bought this to cover the top of my new computer desk that gets a lot of wear and tear. I love this! The thickness is perfect, the quality is great. Wish I'd thought of doing this with prior desks. A plus is it didn't reek of chemical smell!

1.5 mm is still nice and thick. The ones thicker than that can really take a beating. Lays flat without creases and is surpringly clear and heavy. Only issue would be is if it gets scratched by a sharp object. Just a fingernail wont do it but bristle pad/ steak knife etc.

This is the best clear table covering I have ever seen. 2mm thick and still easy to cut with kitchen scissors. Ordered 48"x48" and cut the 4 corners off to fit an octagon table. I will be ordering another one for when we put the leaf in the table 48"x68". Arrived 4 days early from projected delivery date. If you have an expensive table you want to protect, this is the perfect product. Being 2mm thick it not only prevents scratches to the table top, also prevents minor dents if something is dropped on the table. Thin flimsy covers will not help with that.

stinks of plastic, still smells after a week but not nearly as bad. Doesn't cut/tear/split like the cheaper ones I was buying. Worth the price and makes the table look better and much easier to clean. THANK YOU!

Very elegant and practical on may table perfect

A good alternative to heavy glass

I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this. It was an experiment to try before I broke down and had glass cut to fit over my 30 year old oak dining room table. I know glass tops look beautiful but when you have to remove it to put in the leaves it was going to be a night mare because of the weight. So I bought this plastic ( the extra thick) and followed other reviews directions After I put in on the table I waited two weeks before I cut it to fit. I am so happy with the results. It looks beautiful!

Worked for me.

I cut this tablecloth up to make a strip curtain door (like a warehouse/walk-in freezer door) for a dog house. The strip curtain kits online are around $100, this did the same thing for way less. For its intended purpose, I think it would be fine. It comes in a roll though so it would require some work to flatten the corners and get it to lay right.

We get some many compliments on this. We had to cut it to size for our custom table (which wasn't easy, but doable). It cleans easily, looks good. It doesn't stick, and it's hard enough to write on (something I worried about before I bought it). It protects from crumbs and spills. If you have small children and want to protect your table, this is definitely something you want.

I have 2 cats that might jump up when I'm not looking,,and the thickness of this product is great for protection.,just ,ofcourse,don't put heat on plastic...this show the nice wood finish of my table!

I absolutely LOVE this product! I have two little ones so this table top protector has come in handy more than I’d like to admit!! I read a review that sometimes it sticks to the table so all I do about once a week is lift it up (like fluffing a bed sheet) after I clean it. It’s probably not necessary but I love it and love my table so why not? :) I’m actually buying another size for another table I just purchased!! :))
