Feels Like an Adjustable Angle Monitor Setup

I love this stand. I have two of the collapsing type plastic stands that let you set up a tablet at an angle, but they put the lower edge of your tablet right down to the table. This stand is very stable and sturdy, and raises the lower edge up a few inches off the table so you have a more comfortable viewing angle. In addition, since the tablet is elevated and the stand has an opening between the two support fingers, you can connect a charging cable to a “portrait” positioned iPad from the bottom. Using those folding plastic stands leaves no room to connect from the bottom so I always have to invert the iPad to put the charging port on top, which puts the home button up there too, plus the charging wire looks a little odd coming off the top. I do use the iPad on it's side “landscape” for many things, but I like portrait positioning when reading documents with many pages of text. It is also handy when reading ebooks. I use a Bluetooth keyboard along with this stand and the setup feels very much like a standard adjustable-angle computer monitor and keyboard setup. I think it is a far more desirable combination than the folding plastic stands or those keyboard-case designs. The only downside I can see is that it does not fold into a smaller profile like the plastic stands do. That's not an issue for me as I use it primarily at home. When traveling with it, I find it fits easily into an overnight bag and I can pack socks and other small items in and around it so it really takes up no space. It's sturdy enough there's no concern about it bending. I use this with my iPad Pro 10.5, but I think it would hold just about any tablet. I sometimes put my iPhone in it and that works fine too.

Great gooseneck compatible with 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9"!

Searched all over Amazon and found that this was the only gooseneck that stretch wide enough to accommodate the new 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9". I love that the arms have handy little ropes to stretch them outward and the actual gooseneck is very stiff and sturdy. Overall a very good gooseneck that I'd highly recommend to anyone.

I'm very happy with this. I like to use it for seeing my photos while painting. The photo quality is much better on my tablet than the a hard copy from my printer. Plus I can place it in the right view of my eye glasses making it easy to follow where I am at in the painting. It's very sturdy yes and a little hard to adjust at times but that's ok - it's not cheaply made at all and it is not going to fall apart. I've only been using it a few days now but I could see using it in the kitchen too for following recipes or watching a cooking demo... I do have the holder hooked to a shelf that is not secure so I just have to be mindful of that. I would recommend to anyone.

Quality Tablet Holder

This Gooseneck Tablet Holder is the perfect choice for hands free viewing. I tried interacting with my Samsung Galaxy E 9.6 Tablet on this stand and it is sturdy but shakes a bit. I can adjust the neck in a plethora of angles! I am very pleased with this purchase.

Holy cow! This is one of those rare items I’m simply thrilled with! The quality is just spectacular! I know this is a simple item but it is superior to some others I’ve tried recently. Made of metal... that’s right! This is 100% sturdy metal - no plastic. It is perfect for my iPad 10.5” and also works with my iPhone X and my friend’s iPhone 7+. Landscape or portrait - it will easily hold the largest tablets. It has soft rubberized feet for stability and similar cushions to cradle your device for protection against scratches. It even comes with an extra set of these little feet in case they should come off. I’m rarely impressed with internet purchases but this is seriously a quality product!

Outstanding and functional

I wanted to find something my wife could put her iPad on while sitting on the sofa. She had another tray arrangement that causes her to look down constantly and that is not good for her posture. In fact, it's not good for your posture period. Idealy, this stand would sit higher, but for her use it is perfect since she is not typing etc. I bought one because my desk is a complete electronic junkyard and I'm running out of space for my coffee. I'm giving this 5 stars for durability, build quality, and functionality for our specific needs. If you are looking for something with greater flexibility to address a wider range of ergonomic needs, you may want to keep looking since this stand does not telescope. Otherwise, it is a wonderful product.

Exceeds Expectations!

The gooseneck is strong enough to hold position. My Fire Notebooks fits well in the firm grips. I love it, and shared a photo on my Facebook.

So glad I purchased this for my fire HD 10 tablet. It’s really cool just got it yesterday and set it up last night. I have a small folding table less room this item is perfect and very sturdy.
