very impressive thus far (but be careful with battery charging)...

very impressed, 4.5 stars. worked very well, made cleaning the tub and shower much easier than i thought it would, especially if you are suffering from arthritis or some other physical ailment. only slightly negative thing i noticed was that the brush 'head' began to make a slightly different sound than it did at first. hopefully this amounts to nothing, so far it has, and doesn't speak to long term quality issues. there are other similar products (some for a lower price). i chose one that had higher reviews and listed a heavier weight because i wanted a more sturdy product. it did not disappoint and feels quite substantial and has good power. ...................................... Update-10/19/2018: everything i wrote above was true, but the unit died after only a few uses. seems like the weak link is the battery that dies rather quickly. Update-10/26/2018: the manufacturer was kind enough to provide me with another spin scrubber after my initial update to my original review. after some advice about battery care, i feel this scrubber is a very good purchase. just make sure not to allow the battery to become dormant (2 weeks with no charge) and to only use the provided adapter.

totally effortless if you compare it to doing it by hand

Wow what a great job this did on my tub! I had no idea how dirty it was till the scrubber began taking off the grime I had been missing doing it by hand over the years. It was gross. I had planed on spot cleaning, but I had to do the whole tub. It was fairly effortless ( totally effortless if you compare it to doing it by hand ). I charged it as instructed, even longer really. I was able to do the whole tub and the sliding doors. It even got the smoke dust filled vent cleaned!! I'm letting it spin out the rest of the battery as instructed before charging it again for tomorrows jobs. The different brushes got in all the crevices and curves of the tub with ease. No bending, no elbow grease, it's a wonderful tool. I used a soft scrub product and water spray bottle and rinsed with the shower head. I'm only sorry I didn't take before and after photos. I had read some reviews that claimed cleaning the tub was now fun. I wouldn't go that far, but it was substantially easier, that's for sure. I bought this and am very happy with the purchase

Tip: After charging, the unit will only power on when the main machine head is attached to the main handle.*** I am experiencing shoulder pain and scrubbing shower walls and a tub only aggravate the pain. I bought this and am very happy with the purchase. I spray the shower in sections, use this, spray with water and repeat. The manual says the charge time is 3.5 to 4 hours although the first charge will take more time. The AC adapter did not work and the company took care of the matter for me.

A Great Purchase!

I bought this to remove the dirt that accumulates in between the 12 inch square vinyl tiles of my kitchen floor. I chose this brand because the brushes are stiffer and I knew I needed that feature. I'm getting older and I can no longer get on my hands and knees to do this, so this works well for that purpose. I also used it to remove water spots from my front storm door that would not come off by just using Windex. It worked great! The charge lasted me almost 2 hours, which is one of the other reasons I chose this brand (it pays to read the reviews!). I haven't used it on anything else yet, but expect I'll love the results.

Pain free shower cleaning tool

Wow. Just wow. It did a great job cleaning our shower which has walls of textured porcelain tile (rock like tile) and carrera marble pebbles on floor. My arm used to ache after scrubbing the shower and I could never get the corners very well. The Hommit solved these problems. It is essentially a giant electric toothbrush for scrubbing. So glad I brought it. The company also sent a very helpful user email explaining how to properly charge the battery and how to contact them if there are problems. That in itself was amazing! Highly recommend.

The only brush scrubber you'll ever need!

This electric scrubber is everything the manufacturer says it is! I had been having trouble removing soap scum from our acrylic bathtub, but using Simple Green solution and this scrubber, it is as clean as it was when we had it installed! I also used the scrubber to clean the grout on our ceramic tile floor in the bathroom, and it is now immaculate! The scrubber is very sturdy and easy to handle, even for someone like me with arthritic hands. I'm very glad I purchased this item and would recommend it to others with no hesitation.

After seeing a video that showed a person putting a brush on the end of a drill, I started looking. At 55 and with several health issues, I can no longer get on my hands and knees and scrub a floor. I was worried this might turn out to be a little flimsy but it is well made! The brush I used first was the small round brush to get into the grout and really clean it. I shouldnt have worried because this thing is unreal. SO glad I got this one rather than the spin hurricane? not sure if thats what its called, that Bed Bath and Beyond sells. I could tell this was better made with a minimum of plastic. I will never regret buying this and over the next few days, its going to be awesome finding other things to clean. The pictures are before and after of the bathroom downstairs in the basement, after a flood. It really made the clean up so much easier! The pics are pretty obvious as to which ones are the before and the after...

Bathtub game changer

This little device is my new favorite thing! Cleaning our shower was my least favorite chore. Now I can get a deeper clean in less than half the time. I can get two cleanings out of a single charge. I love the different brush heads. The corner one is great for getting around the handle and in the shelves, while the flat head really scrubs the shower walls and floor. I am looking forward to seeing how this performs on the grout in our kitchen floor as well, and hoping that I can say goodbye to the old toothbrush method! After using this product once time our shower looked the cleanest it ever has since it was brand new.

Only used it once so far, but it worked how I was expecting it to. It was easy to put together. 3 main pieces and they clip together. The brushes go on and off easily. No buttons to push, just push and pull. The charger is like most others. A rubber cap is on the handle end with the connector inside. A red light shows when it is charging and goes out when done. The swivel on the brush end only has 2 positions. Straight and at the angle like the picture shows. There is a button to push to release it. I sprayed some CLR on the shower wall and let it soak a little. Put the big flat brush on and set the head to the angle setting. It scrubbed and got rid of all of the orange on the wall. I also used it on some minor mold on the grout. It cleaned it up easily. The motor has plenty of power. If you have to scrub any harder than it can do, you really need to have cleaned it sooner. With this tool, doing regular cleaning will be a breeze. The only down side may be it's length. But that is a double edge sword. On the one hand in a tight space like a shower, it can be a bit too long. However, if it were any shorter, it would not be long enough to reach the where the wall meets the floor and that was the main reason for getting the long handle one. So, I am going to say that it is the right length. There were a couple of times when I was changing positions a bit to find that right angle, but I was able to find it. The other downside may be the pointy corner brush. Once I was done with the walls I changed to that brush for the corners. It did a decent job cleaning them, but when I was done the brush didn't look so good anymore. The bristles were stressed and not pointing straight out anymore. I am pretty sure it will still work next time, but the life expectancy of that brush may be only 5-10 cleanings. Time will tell. The other brush was fine afterwards and looks like it should last a long time.
