Good unit for the price.

I've been looking for a decent mic and boom to use on when I start making youtube videos. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money but i didn't want to go the cheap route either and have bad quality sound on my videos. I settled on this mic and boom combo set. It shipped within 2 days so that was great. The unit itself has exceeded my expectations so far. Easy to use, the boom extends and retracts easily as well. Sound quality is satisfactory for my needs. Overall i thing i made a good choice in picking this one up for the price.

Big bang for the buck

Great value with this mic. I had this put together and connected to my desktop computer in about 10 minutes. I haved used it for online gaming and people say i sound good and clear. I also use it with WIN10 to talk to Cortana and it seems to understand me just fine.I am going to try live streaming with it.I feel the build quality is good. The boom scissor arm moves effortlessly so adjusting it is a breeze. I would have liked to have some kind of clips to hook the cable onto the scissor arm but i will figure that out. With what you get for the money it's a great value.I recommend it for those on a budget or starting out. Very satisfied with this microphone so far.

Great Budget Studio Mic Set

I don't normally give out 5 star ratings, however my reasoning behind giving the Maono Studio Mic Set a 5/5 stars is based on the performance vs price. Most super high quality Studio Mic Sets can range from $200-$1,000. So this mic set definitely falls into the budget Studio Mic Set category. With that being said, your expectations need to be realistic. You can't expect this to compare to a $500 mic set. However, for the price of $58 (Which is what I paid), this mic set is pretty fantastic. What I LIke: - Sound quality was nice - Easy to set up - Quick connection to my computer - Decent material for durability What I didn't Like: - More maneuverability with mic head. It was adjustable, but I wanted to tweak it a bit more easily, (Not a big deal) Overall/Recommendation: If you are looking for a budget Studio Mic Set, this is definitely a solid option. Just remember to be realistic with expectations. I will be using this mic set for quite some time.

Good audio quality and stupid easy set up for this Mic.

I have had this Mic for roughly two weeks at this point and the Mic has good audio quality. I have gotten several positive comments on my live streams and video's I produce on YT. I would recommend this for anyone that needs improved audio for YT production and does not have a full studio setup with a dedicated mixing board for their Mic. Fast, easy, instant upgrade for you video productions.

Just plugging it in and testing it was very worrying. But after tweaking some settings (on OBS) its actually well worth $50. If installed correctly, the arm, cable and shock mount are sturdy.

Affordable

I purchased this to record voice overs for my youtube channel & to use as my microphone while streaming. It came with everything needed to mount to my desk and get up and running in minutes. The mount is very sturdy and the microphone quality is top notch. It is a very affordable solution and i am very pleased with it.
