Best WiFi extender i have found!!!!!!!

all i can say is .....WOW. This wi fi extender is great. I had a few dead spots in my home and one of them was where my Ring doorbell was located on the outside of my front door. I had a lot of problems with the video to my ringbell. But installing this extender downstairs of my home worked like a charm. My router and wifi device is upstairs in the masterbedroom far from my doorbell. My house is approx. 3000 SF. the installation of this device was supereasy and now i get a quality signal downstairs. also this item is solid not cheaply made like other wifi extenders. the price point is excellent.. I dare you to find a better quality,better made and better price wifi extender on the market

Works exactly as it should

We got a new mesh wifi setup for the house. When we did that, my old Netgear extender stopped connecting properly. Decided on this Rock Space one because of price, reviews, and was basic enough for my needs. (Although, I'm still wondering of "Rock Space" is a ploy ride on "Rack Space's" name? Well, regardless...) I was pleased at the construction, it feels solid and well made. The antennae are snug and don't feel cheap. The setup using the Web browser worked flawlessly! (Well, except the instructions give you a local URL or an IP to browse to... the URL didn't work but the IP did.) A couple quick steps, and bam, it's connected. I plugged a switch into the plugin which I have 3 machines using, and then another two using the extended wifi, and all of them speedtest to the max that my ISP provides. And so far, no disconnects or dropoffs. I'm annoyed by the low reviews that complain that the extender didn't speed up their connection. Uhm, that's not what this is meant to do. It's meant to extend the range of your WiFi, give you stronger (not faster) connections at the edges of your WiFi. And this definitely does that quite well! Now, the only question is how long it lasts. If it gives be a few years of service, far well worth the price!

Super easy to setup/install

Wow is about what sums up this little gem of a device. I've been working in IT forever, and have had my share of device horror stories. I was pleasantly shocked at how well made this device is, AND how easy it is to setup! I had a busy day at work, and really didn't feel like doing anymore 'IT' stuff, but I wanted to make sure the device at least powered on properly. It literally took longer to unbox it, and peruse the included instructions than it did to actually get it working. When they say '5 minutes to setup' they weren't lying. You take it out of the box, plug it in near your internet wireless device, the lights blink for less than a minute and boom it's linked. Open a browser, go to the given address (I used IP since it's more reliable), add a password, pick your current wifi, log into it, and you're done! You end up with another wifi (or two) that you can connect to for internet connectivity. The physical aspects of the little guy are also pretty impressive. It feels solid and well put together not flimsy like it'll break easily. Overall I'm VERY happy that I bought this to meet my needs. Totally recommend if you need an extender/repeater.

bang for your buck

I AM NOT BEING PAID FOR MY REVIEW, I AM AN HONEST PURCHASER OF THIS PRODUCT AND PROVIDING REVIEW BY CHOICE. Great Product! I have a large ( read as looong) house and the WiFi wouldn't reach the the master bedroom even with a brand new 5g router, so we had to get an extender. After reading a few reviews this one seemed best so figured I'd give it ago. key notes: - set up out the box was simple, as "plug and play" as this type of device can be. Plug it in, enter the IP provided and connect to your network - set up took all of 2 minutes and upon completion I was streaming on my firestick in the master within minutes. Have used Netflix, Hulu, and a few other streaming apps and all of them have worked flawlessly since connecting. - plugs into regular outlet and still let's you use the bottom outlet if you plug into the top on, see pics. - allows you to extended your 2.4 or 5g network to a MUCH larger area. - Am now even able to stay connected to my wife from the outside of the far end of the house. overall great product, if all their products are made of same quality, they have just gained a loyal customer.

Works great! A little tricky to install.

I received my Repeater today and once I installed it, the results were great. I did a speed test in an area of my house far from the router and got 3mbs before and 35mbs after installation. My only problem with installation is that the simple method (method 2) didn't work with my router and I had to use method 1 which had a few more steps. It's really no big deal but a non technical person might have some trouble. Overall I'm very pleased with the device.

From the time I opened the box until I was using it was less than 5 minutes

I am using the wifi extender to service my home office over our garage which has been a dead zone. It has been driving me crazy because anytime I wanted to use my computer online I had to relocate my set up to the kitchen table, wasting valuable time and raising my blood pressure:-0 It is a pleasure to be able to close the door to avoid interruptions and get my work done. The ease of setup makes it a no brainer and the fact that I got it earlier than expected makes this one Awesome Product in my book.

Simple to set up and use

I was having buffering problems but the Rock Space AC 750 Dual Band WiFi Repeater helped to resolve that issue. It was easy to set up and use. I just plugged it in and followed the easy to follow step-by-step instructions and now I am getting a better experience with my WiFi router than I've had in a long time. The package arrived within 2 days of ordering it and that was great. The laptop I'm writing this review on is working faster on the internet, too. I would recommend the purchase of this WiFi repeater. This is my first day of using the product and I am looking forward to many more good days of experience with it.

Awesome product! Ridiculously SIMPLE set-up

First, Amazon delivered this product in less than twelve hours of placing the order. The day may not be far when Amazon delivers your orders in less time than it takes to get your pizza delivered to your home! ...Maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. But it is no exaggeration when I say that you can set up this WiFi Repeater in less than a minute. All you need to do is plug this gadget into a wall outlet, and press WPS button on your home WiFi router followed by WPS button on this gadget. And you're done! If your router doesn't have the WPS button, it might take you five minutes to set up this repeater using your Web UI. Another, very useful feature I found in this repeater, is the signal strength indicator light. The indicator LED turns RED to indicate a weak signal from your home WiFi. GREEN LED indicates a strong signal. This helps you choose the right location for your WiFi Repeater, and it works! Try plugging this Repeater into different rooms in your house and you'll know the quality of your WiFi signal at that location. You will be surprised at the accuracy of detection. All in all, this is a wonderful product.

Very easy to install and great coverage, now I can connect to 5GHz in my dead zone

The extender took less than a minute to connect. All I have to do is plug it into the wall, wait for the solid blue light to come up, then press both the WPS button on my router (make sure it is enabled first) and WPS button on the extender. Boom, it connects with another solid blue light. It automatically setup 2 new SSID with your original 2.4/5 GHz SSID + "_EXT" extension. Getting it connect is easy, but the tricky part is to find the right spot to put this sucker. I spend a fair amount of time to find the perfect spot for it. It needs to be located at a place with fairly strong signal so that it can have better connection with the existing router. But then it also needs to set closer to where the dead zone is in order to get a good coverage. The signal strength indicator is very helpful for this. End up I am very happy with it. I now have any least 20Mbps at the dead spot, and over 60Mbps in some places where it used to be only 20.

Great Range and Strong Signal

I have AT&T Fiber but just wasn't getting a reliable internet connection. After some research, I found out that the AT&T fiber modem box has huge signal integrity issues. So I brought out my old TP-Link 3500 and connected it via ethernet cable to the AT&T box. I then just needed a repeater as the AT&T box was in the basement. I ordered the AC750 WiFi Repeater and it shipped and arrived within 2 days! To program it, I utilized the WPS feature the repeater and my router both offered. It was programmed in less than a minute. I then plugged it in upstairs and I was amazed at how strong a signal it generated. I have been streaming shows on my TV seamlessly since and the internet has been rock solid as well. When you connect to the repeater, it offers 2 options: 1. A 5G signal with the same name as your router with a "_5GEXT" added on, and 2. A 2G signal with the same name as your router with a "_EXT" added on. Again, incredible simple to use and has been giving a rock solid signal since.
