Best headlight I’ve ever had
For the money this headlight is simply incredible. I love the fact that there is no beam that you have to direct or point. It lights up everything. This is the Best Buy I’ve made on Amazon in years. Of course it’s not as good as a Halo but it didn’t cost $140. bucks either. This light is so cheap and so good I’m going to buy three more. The only problem I have with it is that it will not stay on my hard-hat very well but I guess it wasn't designed for that?

First Impression - Wow. More than I expected.
I just got this and didn't really know what to expect. I'm a 'be prepared' kind of guy and wanted another headlamp that lit a wider area, but wow - this is not like any headlamp I own. This lights the whole room with an even glow - no beam and not even hot spots. Pretty cool. I didn't expect that, but I like it a lot. If I was searching for something during a power outage, this would be the automatic go-to wearable lighting choice. I'd be able to see the whole room/area. I'm sure I could think of many other applications - I just didn't expect the way it lights up the whole area so evenly. Very cool thing to have especially for the price.

Great task light for remodeling!
Going through a lot of home renovations again and have been using a portable spotlight, flashlights and a head lamp I use for backpacking and camping. Mainly have been using the old headlamp so I can work hands free but the problem I have is the light is so focused on one spot that there is a hot spot, glare, and I end up having to move my head a lot to direct the light. I wanted something that could light up everything within hands reach and saw this one and thought I would give it a try. Been using for about 5 days now, mainly at night, and it is awesome. A lot of electrical work so I have no lights other than what I can carry or hook up with a long extension cord. Good color temperature so the wire colors are easy to distinguish. I've used bad lights in the past and sometimes two different wire colors looks the same...very bad if doing electrical work. This light is quick and easy to put on and still using my original batteries. Been using both hi and low settings depending on what I'm doing. No need to drag around the extension cord and spot light since I've been using this. Wish I would have had this months ago, would have saved me quite a bit of frustration.

Awesome Headlamp!
My kids were always scared to walk the dog at night due to the tall grass and coyotes. This OV LED headlamp is awesome! Instead of a narrow beam, they can see to the left and to the right without turning their head. It's super bright and I can't wait to take it camping! I like that it takes regular AAA batteries so I don't have to worry about having power nearby to recharge the battery pack.

No need to turn your head!
Having received the headlamp just in time for my trip to Colorado, I took it for use during a night hike at Rocky Mountain National Park. There was definitely no problem seeing everything in front of me for several meters and it was so bright my wife would get mad every time I accidentally turned towards her. Other typical headlamps would have a very bright, small spot in the middle and would be dimmer outside of that. But the OVLED headlamp allowed me to see practically everything within my field of vision, which to me is more natural and easier for my eyes. No need to turn my head just to light something up. And the band was very comfortable for me. Will certainly take this with me on my next hiking trip in the outdoors!

Overall a GREAT DEAL!
Overall: This is one of the brightest headlamps that I have ever used. The wide beam allows you to view anything without having to constantly move your head. It also works well when you are working with others and want a wide light supply. It's perfect for when we are working on the boat after dark. This is a great deal and I don't think I'll be able to go back to regular headlamps after trying the broadbeam. Pros: -Bright Light -Wide Light Projection -Comfortable enough to wear for an extended period if properly adjusted -Battery Life. I haven't had to replace the batteries yet and I have been using it on high and low for about a week. I am using Amazon Basics rechargeable AAA batteries. Cons: -The battery pack is a bit heavy once I put in the required batteries. You have to make sure that headlamp is tightened properly. -When I did adjust the headlamp, the battery pack was in a weird position and caused a weird amount of slack in the battery cord. I ended up flipping over the strap so that it lined up better (you can see this in the pictures). Overall this was a bit annoying but it fits great now and so doesn't detract from the everyday function of the device. Like I said above, overall this a great light that can't be beat at this price. Take the time to adjust it to your head and you will love this light.

Affordable, Bright and Comfortable
I purchased this headband for a few jobs as my existing one (different brand) broke. As typical of Amazon, this arrived in a fairly timely manner. Here is what I found with this product... PRO 1-Affordable. There are other headbands out there that costs a lot, but this one is easy on the wallet and gets the job done. 2-Comfortable. Surprisingly the band is comfortable. It is easily adjustable to fit my big knoggin and my wife's. 3-Three different modes of operation - bright, low - off. 4-Unique battery pack holder. The headband takes 3 triple A batteries that are placed in a plastic battery pack. The whole unit has another black band that you can place the battery pack in, keeping the batteries in place while it is on your head. 5-Wide dispersal. This head band does not shoot a directed beam, but rather illuminates a larger area for a wider viewing angle. 6-Bright. On the highest setting, it is very bright. CON 1-Does not come with batteries

More Like 10 Stars
Just got my OVLED Broadbeam. OVLED? What's up with that? But anyway, luckily they came in time to do some electricity work that required all the lights to be off. Really works well at illuminating a large area, but more specifically the area you want lit. Didn't have to rig up a separate light source. I've owned/used many headlights in my day. By far this is the best. My daughter got excited about using them for night biking. Told her to get her own. Only downside: I blinded my buddy. :)

Broad bright light - multipurpose
Just received my light today. I am very pleased with the light output and quality of materials. My wife wants to use it for jewelry making, but I see many other purposes around the house here in Florida. Now I can have broad illumination if I need to Go outside at night, keeping the critters away A great value!

Awesome headlamp! Bright area light! So long spotlights!
I got this in the other day. I had to go up in the attic to do some electrical work. This is so much better than carrying a work light plugged in with an extension cord. It’s light exactly where I need it to see what I’m doing. I’m really looking forward to taking this camping. I’ll actually be able to see where I’m going. Instead of a little spotlight, this light lights up the whole area. What a great idea!
