The most features for the money

I use this with my macbook pro. I spent way too long looking at several of these adapters. I almost ordered another one when I found out it didn't have the thunderbolt speed, just the usb 3 speed. Why settle for less than 1/3 the speed when the port can do more? The port is also rated for full charging power. For the price this was a clear decision, the only one I found that was close with all the options was $69 dollars. Not only will it do the full thunderbolt speed but it will do both sd and micro sd cards, it has 2 usb3 ports and the micro usb reader is rated for 104 mbps which is faster than a lot of the cards read so it will move data from the higher end cards at full speed. It can also hook my macbook to 2 4k displays, I only have one and my second monitor is a 24 inch dell that isn't 4k but a newer monitor that has a high resolution so I haven't tested that but I am very pleased that I was able to find a device that did everything I needed for a lower price than all the others I found.

Compact, stylish and it works; but be careful connecting a USB-C charging cable

This is a well-packaged, high performance hub styled exactly like my 13" MacBook Pro with TouchBar. When I first connected by HDMI monitor plug, printer USB plug, and then the USB-C cable connected to the charger, the MacBook did not charge. BUT, upon READING THE ENCLOSED DIRECTIONS (duh), the charging cable must be plugged into the hub at the port NEAREST THE HDMI PORT. So if you run into the same issue, read the directions or learn from my mistake. This is a great product.

New computer now usable.

My wife received her 2018 Macbook Pro, and realized that it has no HDMI or USB-A ports, only two USB-C ports. USB-C may be the hot new connector, but it's not compatible with her thumb drives or back-up external drive. A hub was the answer, but we waited to find one that was reasonably priced, attached to the computer without hanging by a cord, was the right color, and had all the bells and whistles needed. This was the answer. When my wife saw how small it is, and how the color perfectly matched her space grey Macbook, she loved it. However, I did proceed to make sure that everything worked. First, she used a USB-C port to charge the computer. We have nothing else currently that uses a USB-C connector. We used the HDMI port to connect the computer to the TV and stream a movie. Successfully used flash drives on the USB-A ports, as well as the card reader. At first, we didn't think that the card reader functioned properly, as we did not see a desktop icon. However, we received a warning when removing the card, so the computer recognized it. My wife called Apple to learn how to find the card contents, as she is new to Apple computers. Anyway, she was successful. - Bottom line, it works, and it's attractive and unobtrusive enough that my wife will leave the hub attached to her computer.

Great USB hub to have for features missing in MacBook Pro

This is a great product from Andobil. I got the USB C Hub. I must say this is an excellent product to have that fills all the gaps in the newest versions of MacBook Pro. I use it on my new Mackbook Pro 2018 and it works like a charm. I can connect all 2 USBs, an HDMI, 2 memory cards, and simultaneously charge my laptop all the same top. Although you may feel the product to be a little pricey, please do not hesitate to invest in this safe and a must have product. I have seen other low cost versions on Amazon and was not quite confident to plug them in my new laptop. Most importantly, the support you get from the vendor is incredible. They will ensure to answer every question of yours and keep checking in until you receive this product. In short, they are available to answer your questions at any point of time. For the amount I paid, it is worth it.

It works well in my 2018 Apple Macbook Pro

I ordered this device to use with my new 2018 MacBook Pro. I have 4 usb-c, but I have to connect with a lot of adapters to transfer usb-c with internet, usb-c with normal usb, and usb-c with HDMI. As shown in the marketing photo the device attaches to the side to the Macbook Pro. The device fits well and will attach at either side of the computer. It has space gray color to match my space gray laptop. The color is exactly the same. Some others' adapter color might be off. All of the device connections on it worked for me and allowed me to use my old cables.

Much Need Accessory for MacBook

When I decided to order a Brand New Mac Book, I knew I would need a solution for standard USB ports, HDMI & SD Cards as I use all of those functions, and Apple removed those ports completely and replaced it with 4 Thunderbolt Slots. This attaches to one side, taking both thunderbolt slots, but expanding them like a hub on steroids. It flawlessly let me add on my other "older" attachments, and were instantly recognized by the MacBook. Plus the color seamlessly blends in with the Laptop itself! Best tech purchase I have made in a LONG time, and a MUST for anyone with a new MacBook, and the need for HDMI, USB Anything (all those jump drives people), SD and Micro SD cards, all without losing those Thunderbolt ports, they are there too!!

Worth it for the price

Perfect, just what I needed. Been looking for best C adapter that has everything. I was looking for an adapter for my MacBook Pro that has an SD card slot and HDMI to connect my MacBook to my TV came across this one. This small device has all needed adapters in one. Great packaging. Worth it for the price.

Awesome docking station, and top-of-the-line customer service.

I frequently work at home and usually it's a pain to connect/disconnect everything when I get home or to work. At first, I looked into buying a docking station, but really didn't want to shell out $200+ bucks for each one. This USB hub can be used as a docking station in a similar fashion, and for a fraction of the price. This is probably one of the best QOL purchases I've made for my MBP-- I use this USB hub on a daily basis, and it has survived plenty of travel. I have never run into issues using standard USB devices, such as keyboards, mice, and USB sticks. I did run into a small issue after around 3-4 months of use, when my HDMI port stopped functioning reliably. This may have been caused by inadvertently plugging the power cable into the wrong USB-C port. Pay attention to the markings. Only the USB-C port adjacent to the HDMI port is designed for the power adapter. Check out the photos for more info. I contacted customer service and received a replacement immediately, with no questions asked. They were able to diagnose the probable cause of the malfunction, which is described above. The customer service representatives were very helpful, and were able to ensure that my experience remained positive. I will absolutely continue to buy products from this company in the future!

Handy gadget for my macbook

Def a handy and necessary tool for my laptop. All the ports on my new macbook are usb c so this really helps when i need to use older flash drives and devices. The connection to my external monitor works great. Also, the customer service is very helpful and respond quickly

The service that they give is one of great quality. The device itself looks really sleek. It came in a really nice package and it has an envelop in which you can store the hub.
