Great Device, Very Convenient

I bought this monitor with mixed expectations, but since I had already purchased other products by this company, I thought I would give it a try. It is surprisingly easy to use: just wrap it around your wrist (being careful to place it correctly) and turn it on. It felt funny to activate it by raising my arm, but I found that the little machine knows exactly what to do. I compared results with my standard arm BPM over a period of 3 days, taking several readings, and got very similar readings (see photo). Big plus: the small size makes it easy to carry and takes up less shelf space. In addition, it uses only 2 AAA batteries, making it less expensive than my arm BPM to operate. I’m making this my main BPM from now on.

Defective

After reading my previous 2 star review because of a defective monitor , Greater Goods contacted me several times to rectify my unhappy purchase . They quickly sent me a replacement monitor . I received it today , and all the functions operate . The previous monitor had a defect where the arm positioning assistant would not work at all which made me skeptical of the blood pressure readings . I am fairly confident now that the new replacement monitor is giving me good readings . Thank you Greater Goods !

Easy way to check!

Compact, easy to use and accurate! I continue to be impressed with this brand and the company that stands behind its products. If you are tracking your blood pressure, you know how how tricky it can be to get the cuff positioned right, sit the right way, etc. This device is easy to put on by yourself, and it walks you through getting your arm positioned correctly. No guessing on where to put the cuff, it's so simple. It stores history for 2 people which is nice. It dates and time stamps each reading. I've found the monitor to be very accurate, testing it against a traditional arm cuff. The package includes the monitor, travel bag, manual and batteries to boot! The company also provides a website and videos as well as FAQ to walk you through using your monitor. This is an excellent value! I'd recommend it to anyone in the market.

Great way to monitor blood pressure

This is the first blood pressure cuff I have used that fits over the wrist instead of the arm. At first I was skeptical that it would be as accurate as the arm type, but after using it for a few weeks I can say it is very accurate. By being on the wrist instead of the arm the entire device is much smaller than a typical blood pressure monitor and since it as much less cuff to inflate it is very fast. I have not had to change the batteries yet, but I assume they will last much longer also. I also appreciate the very large size of the screen, this makes the numbers super easy to ready even without glasses. So I am very happy with this monitor, it is very easy to use, very accurate and very easy to read. And very inexpensive. What more could you want from a blood pressure monitor.

Nice Basic Wrist BP Cuff

For less that 20 dollars this little guy is accurate and easy to use. I am very happy with it. My doc wanted me to have one and my insurance did not want to pay for it. The pharmacy sells cuffs too but at about 3 times the price. I bought this one and the doc thinks its fine and almost on the money with the doctors. I will say I have "tiny" wrists for a woman and it is great for me, but a man or woman with large wrists may not be able to get it around their wrist. It definitely isn't for large or "plus" sized people. Keep that in mind before buying.

Great compact size & works just as good as my bulky arm cuff monitor.

Compact, easy to use, & accurate. Set up was a breeze they even include a link to a helpful set up video. Love the indicator that tells you when your wrist is in the correct position. It’s a great size for taking with you when necessary. This has already replaced my bulkier monitor. I compared results of the two & they both gave me similar results so I know it works (I had previously taken my larger monitor to the doctors office so he could compare & make sure it gave accurate results.). I would definitely recommend this. Great little monitor especially for the price.

Amazing, Foolproof Product

As close to flawless as one might get in a home health product. The company supplies clear, detailed instructions and ready online support. However, it is simplicity itself to use and completely self-guided. Strap it on your wrist as shown, angle your arm according to the real-time feedback, and bingo, you have your heart rate and blood pressure in seconds. Amazing! I can't testify to its accuracy or consistency, but my readings were in the same range as in my online medical history, so it's looking good. Even the packaging reflects thought and care. All in all, a great product and great value.

This is a great product. I previously purchased a scale from Greater Goods and am very pleased with it. Nice tool to have to monitor my health

This cuff works well for me and it is easy to track my results. This cuff is easier to use than a prior wrist cuff I was using. The arrows on the screen directing you to adjust your arm position help to remind you to position your arm correctly (often when I'm sitting down, my wrist isn't as in line with my body as I think). The measurement is completed quickly and the cuff is not excessively tight (an issue I had with a prior cuff that had to get so tight I thought my arm would go numb before it finished). It's great that a free app is available for tracking. Even though the results aren't sent automatically, it only takes seconds to put them in my phone. It's nice that the device has memory also, so that I can update my app if I forget to transfer the results. The cuff arrived quickly, but my initial setup didn't work (not sure if it was operator error, battery placement or hardware). I emailed support and was able to troubleshoot and arrange for a free replacement the same day (day before Thanksgiving and responsiveness was still great). Within three days (including Thanksgiving holiday), I had the replacement, popped it out of the box and it worked perfect!

Compact size, very easy to use

I already own the Balance cuff monitor (which I love) but I wanted something that is more compact/transportable while being just as easy to use. When I got this unit I compared the results with the cuff model and the readings are consistently in the same range with the wrist model generally being a little lower. The unit is very easy to use and I love that the instruction book is very comprehensive as is the video on the website. I particularly like that the display has a prompt that shows if your arm is in the correct position with arrows pointing the way to move it if it's not.
