Got the pink color and it matches perfectly to the gold xs max. Crystal clear, comfortable to hold, and good amount of cushion for protection.

Real Buyer, Honest Review

I bought the matte black case for my iPhone XS MAX, The case itself fits very snug around the phone which is perfect! The camera, lock button, mute button, and volume button are all cut out perfectly, and easy to use all the buttons. The speaker holes on the bottom are symmetrical but the actual speaker holes on the phone are not, but you can’t even tell... what’s the big deal... the phone case is awesome and will definitely protect your phone. Great case!

Not bad at all!

This seems to be a pretty good case! The buttons are easy to press, which is a good thing because some cases come with hard buttons that are very rigid and hard to press. Not fun! The camera cutout provided more coverage than I had expected it to, so that was a pleasant surprise. The last Spigen case that I ordered for the 7 Plus didn’t have enough depth, so the camera bump was kind of exposed instead of being protected. As far as thickness, this case is thicker than the cases I prefer to use, so I am not sure how long I will stick with this one, especially if I find a thinner one. Overall, this is a good case for those who want decent protection but aren’t picky about maintaining slimness. Update: I dropped my phone (with this case on) from my lap as I was exiting a car, and this case literally saved my phone from being dinged up and/or shattered! Also, this case is very form fitting and hard to take off, which is a good thing. A lot of cases that I have used in the past have been really flimsy around the sides. But I definitely will keep this case on and sacrifice the “bulkiness” because it could be worse and be thick like an Otterbox, and that’s a no-no!

Great case! I was stupid and bought an OtterBox last night when I got my phone yesterday because I was paranoid I'd drop my phone and I thought this one would take longer to ship but I received this case today. It looks great! Very shiny and crystal clear plus it doesn't smudge. It's almost identical to my clear OtterBox! I attached some photos to settle the debate. The speaker openings are the same size which isn't how the phone is but it doesn't matter because it doesn't block the speakers and it still protects your phone. Overall great case, too bad I'll probably have to return it!

A Premium Case For a Premium Phone At a Bargain Price

I ordered this case because it was one of the few options available when the iPhone pre orders started, but I did not expect it to be so perfect. Spigen knows how to design cases, and it really shows on this case. The black rubber material that surrounds the edges is not sticky like on some cases, and feels like the same material that Apple uses for the sport band on the Apple Watch. The clear plastic back is made of fairly thick and stiff plastic that does not feel cheap. And, not only is there a raised edge around the front of the display to keep it from scratching, but there are raised corners on the back that keep the back plastic from getting scraped up while laying flat on its back. I will definitely be holding onto this case as my primary case for the XS Max.

Amazing case with perfect fit and minimal mulk

I have been purchasing Spigen Ultra-Hybrid cases for my iphones for years. The design is always the same.. A TPU bumper with a clear polycarbonate back. This case is thin and does not add much bulk to the XS max. However, it definitely protects the phone after a casual fall from your hands. Unless you are subjecting your phone to more rigorous falls or conditions, the Spigen Ultra Hybrid is the perfect case. The buttons and cutouts for the vibrate button, camera and lightning port are perfect. The left and right bottom speaker /microphone cutouts are not entirely perfect, as mentioned in other reviews. The botton left cutout is larger than necessary. However, this does not affect the functioning of the phone. Spigen sells amazing cases for a fraction of the price. I am a loyal fan and highly recommend. I was forced to buy a competitor's case for my iPhone XS max because the Spigen case was delayed a week... But once my Spigen Ultra Hybrid crystal clear case arrived, I returned the other case immediately. Also of note-- the crystal clear case is perfect to show off the gold colored phones. I highly recommend this case.

This case is great.

I've always bought the clear Ultra Hybrid cases for my iPhones and this year was No different. The case fits well and looks great on the phone. The cutout for the speaker grill on the left side is bigger than it needs to be, but it literally makes no difference. All these people rating one star have poor morals and weren't raised right, looking for a handout. I love Spigen and can't wait to get my next case next year. Thanks!
