I liked it so much that I bought one for the road and one to leave in the office!
I really love this rig! It’s excellent for getting B roll footage as well as unique shots during interviews and product photography and filming. I was a little skeptical at first because it’s so inexpensive but it was Surely put to rest when it arrived. It is not some cheaply thrown together product. A lot of Care went into the packaging , I like that the tracks are aluminum and not plastic. I liked it so much that I bought one for the road and one to leave in the office!

Portable Powerhouse - Stop thinkin & start 1-Clickin
This bugger is worth every penny. It works exactly as advertised, doesn't feel cheap, packs up / travels extremely well, and has more uses than you can shake a stick at. I use this primarily for my Lumix G85, which, it handles the weight like a champ. A must for GoPro users. I haven't tried leaving my camera in it's SmallRig cage yet (because that sucker is heavy). It definitely is a game changer for any cinematographer that wants bang for the buck. Finally, the folks that made it are EXCEPTIONAL. I emailed them a question and they got back to me right away with the friendliest, caring demeanor I've seen. Everything about this product says it was made by folks like me who said "Hey guys... ya know what would be cool? What if we made this little device that we could do dope trolly shots, camera pans, and it can work on a track AND free driving, but all in one??"... then they went and made it. And here it is. Thanks guys.... =D

It works as advertised
I usually do not write reviews. But I want to give my opinion about this product. I am a professional filmmaker and have to say it works the way as I expected. As a professional I know the limits of this product and for sure do not want to stretch them. It would be foolish to attach a heavy camera to it, because it will not work. The weight limits are clearly written. If people complain it is made of cheap plastic, then they should look first at the price they pay. I am happy what it can do, it is very lightweight and easy to carry around. The rails are made well, and can be extended far more than professional rigs. The only wish I would have is that the motor would have a faster mode. Otherwise Dolly and slider work well with a light weight camera. I have to admit, the Panoramic Head I have to tried yet, but I could imagine it will also work the same way as the slider and the Micro dolly. I think, it is a good value for its price. The Battery lasts long enough for my needs, but I always bring a powerbank with me, which I can attach on the side of the motor very easy. Before I ordered the product, I watched a lot of videos on it ad it seems to me, the maker of Gripgear watched them too and made all the improvements people complained about. The Ballhead is a little weak, but again it is made for light weigh cameras. One thing I also have to mention, they have an excellent service and responded right away, and exchanged a part which must have slipped through their quality control (1 rail) . I give a 5 star for the value and Stabilization, because I have not noticed any flaw.... The Material quality I would give a 5 for the rails but just a 4 for the rest, because after all, they are made of plastic and my guess is, the can break, if you don't take much care of it.

Excelente
Excelente inversión, los materiales son de gran calidad. El motor funciona a la perfección y ya pude probarlo en muchos tipos de ambientes y son maravilloso, mas si cuentas con cámaras no tan pesadas como GoPro

Cost to a new Film maker
I took my first few time lapse (moving clouds) using the Directors Set yesterday and really am impressed with not only the form and function of the GripGear Directors Set but the attention to quality of the hardware. They have done an amazing job using not only plastic that is strong but metal (brass & steel) where needed. What a great deal this is. Thanks again for a cool device. And priced where budding amateurs can afford it.
