Stainless steel lid opens ALL the way

Great ashtray, best part is the lid opens ALL the way up. A major issue with alot of others. Worth the extra money to upgrade to lid that comes off for easy cleaning. Nice the it is stainless steel!

Love the simple design!

I bought two of these ashtrays, one for my car and one for my boyfriend’s car. They are just the right size for our cup holders, about the same size as a soda can. When closed, the seal does keep the smoke inside the can. To empty, the lid unscrews, which is helpful when the can is full. We both really like the simplicity, streamlined look, and usability of the ashtrays. It is surprisingly hard to make something simple. The ashtray is well made. No warping or funky hinges. The engineering is high quality! Highly recommended!

Smart build that works!

Good design overall. Definitely extinguishes lit cigarettes by simply closing lid. The built in round portion used to extinguish the butt is a bit to close to the edge, sometime causes ashes to get on the outside of ashtray. Most times I throw it in and just close lid. I like that it is weighted so wind wont blow it away. I use this in my office and on the screen porch. Great product!

I will buy more of these

The is a great ashtray. The chromed steel looks great. It is steel inside and out, and it cleans up nice and easy. The upper part of the body comes off for a fast dump and it is wide enough it get a cloth in there to clean it out. The flip-top is easy to open one-handed and doesn't get in the way. It closes securely and helps keep the smell down. I will but a few more of these.

Quality product

2nd generation ash tray, manufacturer listened to comments about original ash tray, only problem I see in the future is the hinge pin seems frail. Overall I am very pleased with the product, no whistles or bell just a nice serviceable product.

Great little ash tray that doesnt look like an ashtray = a Built-in Holder on lid when open

This is my 6th ashtray from Newness. I bought 2 of the car ashtrays, (1 for me & 1 for my lady). we both like them, vs any others we've had. Also the ease of Emptying this unit with being a 2 piece construction is great. And as a footnote, the Round Models for the house are "OUTSTANDING!

This is a super ashtray! It’s a good weight, has a small, short, tubelike hole to distinguish your cigarette. Holds quite a few smokes and is attractive. I thought about buying one with a light, but that requires a tiny cell and those can be ridiculously difficult to find!
