• Quick change nozzle: unlike other 3D printers, which require tools and 20-40 minutes of work to replace the nozzle, The voxel has a quick change nozzle that allows you to change the nozzle in seconds, without the need for tools of any kind
  • Heated, flexible, and removable: The removable, flexible build plate makes removing a model A breeze. Simply remove and flex it to dislodge the model. You can easily replace it if it becomes damaged or can swap in a second build plate to start a new print immediately after completion of a project. Additionally, it can be heated to temperatures up to 60°c
  • Auto Leveling: the printer ships fully calibrated and ready to print out of the box. If necessary, you can easily adjust the distance between the nozzle and the bed via the touch screen interface
  • Auto feeding with filament sensor: makes loading filament simple. Insert your filament into the printer’s filament loading Port, then tap ‘load filament’ on the color touchscreen menu. Additionally, a built-in sensor recognizes low filament levels and will pause prints in progress until filament is reloaded

At the current $320 price, this is an incredible value. Works perfectly. For those that don't want to use the cloud service, you can view the camera locally in a web browser using http at ipaddress:8080/?action=stream A comment on the Flashprint software (current as of right now: 3.26.1); it works well, but the connectivity is just broken. I can ping the printer, I can see the ports that are open (8899, 8080) with nmap, but the software won't connect (Ethernet). So I use a USB drive as a workaround. Also, the package is built for a circa 2002 Debian system. If you use anything more recent, you have to edit the deb to update the libusb-0.1 dependency to libusb-0.1-4 before installation. So while the printer is very user friendly, the software is very not user friendly. I suggest Monoprice switch their recommendation to one of the open source slicers to make this a perfect experience for their customers.

This printer is incredibly easy to learn and use; if you have never used a 3D printer before, getting it set-up is intuitive and easy. Never using a 3D printer before, I have used this printer to recreate sculptures from the Louvre, as well as figurines of superheroes. The quality of each print is everything I had hoped for, and I have not even increased the quality setting within the program. The filament adheres to the pad wonderfully, no need for concern of your print falling over, or anything of the like. When a print is complete, the feature to remove the pad from the printing chamber and the ability to slightly bend it to detach, helps keep the print intact while removing. Also, the program that comes with the printer enables the ability to add supports automatically, enabling beginners like myself to create more complex prints and opens many more possibilities. Overall, this is an EXTREMELY satisfying piece of technology. I could not be happier with the money I spent for the quality of the product I received.

Super easy setup, and printing right out of the box. The WiFi setup is tricky but not difficult for an advanced user. You have to make sure you’re on the same 2.4GHz network (and computer isn’t on 5GHz). You can get the IP address from the About menu in the printer settings on the printer itself. IP address changes each time you turn it on and off, so make sure to check it each time you print from MP Flashprint. The Flashprint software from Flashforge does not work with this printer’s WiFi (at least not yet). Make sure you get the MP Flashprint software from Monoprice’s website - search for Voxel and it’s there. For the auto-leveling, use a sheet of paper (the included “STOP and read this first!” paper works well) and lower the extruded until the paper can barely squeeze between it and the bed. I had to auto level between prints. The included filament isn’t my taste, but it’s ok. It works well. I’m going to print a spool adapter (search Thingiverse for Adventurer 3 and you’ll find spool adapters there) so I can use 1kg spools. The camera function only works with the PolarCloud website- you have to log in and go to your printers, and you can see the video feed there. I wish I could have a local feed but at the same time it will be handy to look at my prints from my desk at work :) Overall, it seems like a solid printer so far. The quality is great, the software is ok, and it has all of the features I wanted (enclosed, at least 150mm bed, WiFi, camera, touch screen). It also looks nice sitting on a desk. I have a toddler and I didn’t want to get a printer without an enclosure since he might mess with it or hurt himself. It’s also easier to move around and store away than a non-enclosed printer. Five stars! Update: Still working great a few months later with no issues. I have tried wood filaments, clear, ABS, and different PLAs. The wood and clear ones were tricky, but I got the wood figured out. Had to return the clear PLA, probably just a bad brand. Overall still very pleased. I upgraded the machine with a custom spool adapter, new door (to keep the heat in with the adapter on), and a glass bed. If you are looking for a glass bed for this printer, get the 165mm x 165mm size. It fits nearly perfectly.

The hardest test for 3d printing, in my opinion, is printing lego compatible parts, only an extremely precise, well tuned 3d printer can do it with the good filament. And this one passed the test. My only negative point I have on this is that the extruder temperature tops out at 230c and the bed tops at 100c, if a filament requires more than that, then you will need to print from the cloud or use a work around. I only use what I trust, which is mostly PLA, so this doesn't bother me.

I am feeling this printer! Love the sleek look right off the box. Just received this bad boy earlier this week & I can’t wait till the weekend to mess around with it. Pretty cool features with WiFi & especially the Camera. It comes fully assembled which should allow me to start printing off the back. Looking forward to printing out some cool little toys for my nephews at home. Definitely a great first impression.

I have been experimenting with and using 3d printers for the past 4 years, so I'm not really a beginner, but I am not a pro either. I've used all types of machines from DIY kits to higher end Ultimakers, and most recently I have owned a Monoprice Maker Ultimate. The standard procedure for the majority of these printers is you remove the printer from the box (or finish building it), try to print a test cube, then immediately start tweaking, disassembling, and modifying because something is causing the prints to fail or look like garbage. Enter the Monoprice Voxel (or Flashforge Adventurer 3). As usual, I opened the box, set the printer up on my desk, calibrated the extruder distance and printed the test cube. I was expecting to have to start searching around for upgrades or slight tweaks that I would have to make, but the cube came out perfect! I downloaded FlashPrint, set it to Expert Mode (which opens up a whole bunch of more detailed printing options, much like Simplify3d) and went to town. I am absolutely floored by the quality that this printer can put out, and most importantly how consistent it is. Just remember to calibrate after every couple of prints or so, and make sure the bed is wiped clean with 91% or higher IPA regularly. The only downside I can see is that the filament compartment does not take a standard filament roll, which is easily fixed with an external spool holder, but I am loving the clean looking, clutter-free, self-contained aspect of this printer too much lol.

Perfect first layer. Ninth time printing with this thing, still did not tweaked a single thing with any of the hardware. I show this in the picture uploaded. Perfect first layer. I'm using the exact program listed on it's product page on the Monoprice website. Hands down, the easiest printer I have ever used besides the TAZ 6 and a few Stratasys printers at work. I have never experienced using a printer that worked right out of the box with this much ease. Fully 100% assembled. Took me exactly 13 minutes and 51 seconds to cut the box open, take the printer out, plug it in, start the 20mm cube print, and finish the cube print. This is unheard of. I completed an impressive quality print fresh out of the box in under 15 minutes. For those who have had to frustratingly tinker for hours upon days upon months with their printers and just want to start over with a new one without a headache, this is your answer. This is coming from someone who operates 32 printers on a daily basis for work ranging from the Form 2 to the cruddy Robo R1+. Believe me, I understand the pain of struggling with printers with careless manufacturing. For this price, this is a no brainier.

This is now my second printer I have purchased from monoprice and I have to say it’s just getting better and better! This printer is quite and easy to use . I’m not that good at printing but this printer makes me look like a master printer! Good job monoprice!

I am completely new to 3d printing and got this as my first 3d printer. It's amazing to me how simple this was to setup and use. Simply removed it from the box, followed the simple quick start instructions and I had my test cube done in 15 minutes, no calibration. Entered my wifi password, downloaded the flashprint software, watched a short (less than 10 minute) video from Monoprice explaining the features of the Voxel, and printed a flexi-rex dinosaur I got off of thingiverse the same night I opened it, no problems whatsoever. I then went back and scaled the dinosaur up to 2x its original size and printed that with no problem as well. With no knowledge of 3d modeling (or printing) whatsoever and this product had me modifying models and printing functional objects straight out of the box. As I read more and more about 3d printers and the common problems, the more I learn how many advantages this printer has to a casual user. I haven't had a single failed print, not even any errors in any of the objects I've printed, and I've taken almost no precautions other than loading up the models in the software, using the default settings, and hitting print. I've removed the parts and reattached them simply out of curiosity, and everything is a breeze to disassemble and reassemble. It has multiple features that I can't believe come on a machine this much cheaper than the competition, like a camera inside the printer to take photos of your prints and a bendable base plate to print on that makes things just pop off it while everything I read online refers to glass plates that people constantly have trouble with in other printers. I've given one of the dinosaurs to my niece and she loves it, I printed a soap dish for my mother that she loves, I got a couple chip bag clips that are keeping my tortilla chips air-tight in the pantry, I'm using all my free time to browse more things to print. I've already started researching how to model things on my own. This is a great product for a gift and I can't think of a better way to introduce someone to 3d printing.

I would like to start of by saying Printer just looks awesome! Well packaged for shipping so thank you, no broken parts. Very nice finish to the printer. I think I am going to buy another one just to have it sit as a house decoration lol! Really easy to set up and got my first print going within 5 minutes of pulling it out of the box. I own a Monoprice Select V2 so I am used to 3d printing already. Assistant leveling is awesome. Printer is pretty quiet. I love how it's all enclosed, have yet to print with more delicate materials though. There is a camera option which is freaking awesome. I can leave the house without worrying about how my print is going, I can watch on my phone. Just that alone is worth the money I spent.
