So far so good work great at night

So far so good work great at night. We have had our vehicles broke into on multiple occasions and the police are busy with other things, to worry about theft (unfortunately). Be careful, they can get in with devices that unlock without any sort of difficulty. My older car without the key fob is safe but newer cars are at risk. My husband learned the hard way not to keep anything of value in the truck, along with feeling violated for someone being in your vehicle. Definitely Worth the money nice that you can add cameras on but I think we will just buy another set of 3.

Awesome Replacement for the terrible Blink Mounts

These will work on XT2 blink camera system. I recently bought the new system and was very underwhelmed with the provided outdoor mounts. I can see these are great. Takes a minute or two to get used to the adjustment knobs. Once you get one down, the others go very smoothly. Another huge plus, they provide extra screws for everything! What a genius idea. In case, one gets lost in the grass or falls when your on a ladder, there is an extra screw. Overall, for non rust components, excellent 360 degree articulation, fits XT2, I think its a steal. Highly Recommend

Don’t want your camera to stick out?

The white wall mounts and protective housing for the cameras allow the cameras to blend into the white moldings on my house. The wall mounts are easy to install. They securely attach to the camera’s protective housing. Once a location is determined and the mounts are installed, it was an easy task to change and set the camera angle.

Sturdy for the price.

The metal mount is a good casting and seems very sturdy. The mounts I bought are black but the screws provided are shiny so I just swapped them out for black drywall screws and they look a lot better. There was just enough room to get my screw gun on the screws so they went up quickly. The camera housing fits the XT camera perfectly. The 4 screws that connect the front and back clamshells are quite small but the miniature screwdriver provided worked fine - probably limiting the possibility of stripping them out with your normal sized workbench tools. I made a note to myself to remove and insert the screws in a location where I can keep them safe, like a clean workbench, while you are changing camera batteries. Finding replacement screws this small at a local store could be a problem. Aiming the camera exactly where you want it pointed is challenging due to the coarse machining of the mounting lock mechanism. With a lot of patience, and trial & error, I was able to get my three cameras pointed and locked very close to what I wanted. Once the mount is locked down, I don't think the camera is going to move if a bird or squirrel sits on it. It would be a better unit if you could make very small camera angle adjustments easier like most people are used to doing with a camera tripod.
