High Quality, Easy To Install!

I purchased the Auto-VOX CS-2 for my 2014 Ram 1500. The installation was a breeze. The directions in the package were very easy to follow, and in 45-minutes I had the system completely installed. I positioned the camera above the license plate. The video on the monitor is high quality. As soon as I put my gear shift in Reverse the monitor comes on and gives me a clear display behind the truck. Now I can see everything that is behind me to make backing-up much easier and safer. I highly recommend this product.

savior of old car

My 2013 mini cooper doesn't have a backup camera.Found this one from Amazon.easy to install just follow YouTube .they have the same brand. I have installed it by myself only took around an hour .it works great . the screen is crystal clear, slightly fuzzy at night but still clear and easy to see. Awesome product it is really helped

Perfect for my new car!

My husband just bought a car for me last month and have been wanting to get this back-up camera for the backing up since im really having difficulty with it.I am a beginner and still practicing to driveto get a license soon. So eventually this back up camera is a must,a huge help and diffinitely a savior for me.It comes wit complete acessories which are very easy to set up in the car.My husband did all the work for me. Gladly it turn out well! I am very satisfied and happy with my purchase and that i found this product which suits my budget and very good quality.The camera is very accurate! Highly recommended!

Very good picture quality

I saw other reviews on this product and decided to purchase it. I am very satisfied with this product. It was very easy to install and the picture quality is excellent. Sure, at night, anything is grainy but I found the picture as good as the built in cameras from the auto manufacturer. When you shift into reverse, the picture comes up immediately without delay. I tapped into the rear back up lights and grounded the other end to the metal frame on my rear hatch. The only other thing to know is that the field of view is not as wide as a built in camera, and the back up lines don't move when you turn your steering wheel. Hey, but I can't complain as this is better than having no back up camera at all. I would recommend this product to others.

Installed on 2004 Toyota Tundra

I selected this unit over others because it said it would work on a pickup. The user manual, which I actually ready before beginning, says to beware of metal barriers between the antenna and the display, so I was concerned. Turns out it works great on my truck. Toyota made this easy. The camera is on the license plate, and doesn't interfere with the tailgate. The wiring was easy to run up into the left taillight and secure along the way with the nylon ties. Behind the taillight is a good watertight location, and connecting it to the reverse light was simple with the connectors provided. Picture quality is very impressive, and I'm very pleased so far.

Easy to follow instructions for instalation

I installed the backup camera without any problems. It worked on first try. Included in the kit were two clips that made the connection to the back up lights easy without stripping the wires. They just clip onto the wire, insert the backup camera wires and clamp together until it snaps into place. The camera picture was clear and the lines in the picture makes easy parking. There is plenty of wire length for easy hookup.

Good because it works, great for the price.

I installed this camera system as a front/forward facing camera on my car, because it already had the rear camera. I checked with the dealer and there was nothing they could do for me to get a forward camera to work through the Ford Sync3 monitor. They said even if there was hardware, the cost would be in the thousands with labor as a dealer installed add on. I got a deal on my Auto Vox CS-2, for less than a hundred bucks as some kind of Amazon flash deal. I did not get any "presents" from AUTO VOX for this review. There is some wiring to do with the camera as obviously it needs power. And, you will need various tools and misc supplies to get it done. For power, I ran the power cable under the car bumper, then up through the engine bay to the under hood fuse box. I then used an add-a -circuit jumper to create a circuit at a fuse location that turns off when the ignition is off/and vice versa. The included mount simply "didn't work" but a few strategic strips of 3M double sided auto tape mounted the camera low on the front bumper quite nice. I did have a problem at first. After everything was hooked up I got the BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH and nothing. The manual suggested cables were not connected, but they were. Something told me the ground might not be right, and that's what it was. After removing the ground wire from a bare steel nut and moving it to the actual negative ground terminal the camera fired right up. Hint: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD GROUND no matter what your setup might be. I am very happy with this system. It was fairly easy to install and the picture and features are very good. Could it better? I suppose so, but for a hundred bucks I think it works great.

Exactly What I was Looking For! Amazing!!

I have been searching for a great quality wireless camera to install on rear of my box trailer, that would allow me to use on multiple trucks when pulling my box trailer. THANKS to AUTO VOX I not only found one, THEY made it Possible with Quality and Excellent Product!!!! I have to say, Customer Service is AMAZING!! Issues with 1st Camera, they sent replacement out with in 2 days! Once installed, it worked PERFECT! Pictures show more than words can saw... 5 Stars Hands Down!!!! back up camera for fifth wheel

I installed this unit on a 40 foot fifth wheel to watch my boat when I tow it and am just tickled to death when I plugged into the truck and turned on the clearance light. It is a nice sharp picture. I have been looking for one of these for the last 4 years and the good quality ones were around 400 bucks and when I saw the price of this one at only 119. I sent an e mail to the manufacture and he said it will works on my fifth wheel. I give this product a high thumbs up. Jack

Clear picture, no interference, easy instal

I have a 16ft enclosed trailer on which I wanted a back up camera, both for parking but also highway travel. In short this was a perfect choice. I "upgraded" trailer by converting it to a 7 way standard pigtail, intalling a hub inside with 12v battery to operate interior lighting, electric jack etc. I hard wired this camera and back up lighting switched by wireless remote. Picture is excellent, clear, no interference. I highly recommend.
