Very easy to us
This was delivered very quick and works fantastic but I am dying to take the memory card in to have the pictures printed to see the quality of the picture

Easy to use and works great
My mother had recently passed away. I was going through thousands of negatives and looking up at the light to try and see what was on them. I looked on Amazon and saw this and hoped it would work. Put in a memory card and plug it in and started scanning. I was able to load up pictures on social media and start sharing with family the same day. I am very happy with it and it works great.

Slides converted to digital!
Very user friendly! We converted old 35mm slides that were from the early 1960's & 1970's. Now we can look at the old memories on a computer without dragging out the screen an projector. Well worth saving memories for decades to come!

Simplified Slide Scanning
This high resolution scanner very simply converts 35 mm slides to digital pics. I have over 40 years worth of 35 mm slides of family, friends, scuba diving adventures, and nature themes. This scanner captures these images very well and easily. I find the best operation is when the scanner uses my iMac as a power source. I can scan my slides then with a touch of a button transfer the captured images into my iMac's photo library. An SD card is required (not part of package) for the temporary storage of the captured images. The only minor drawback of the device is the time spent manually feeding slides into the 35 mm tray but this does allow you to preview the slides you want saved.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do - and it does that very well.
I didn't expect much after reading many reviews of several small, inexpensive slide scanners. But I have thousands of 35mm slides and negative strips that I need to preserve as digital files. So I decided to try the one that looked best to me based on specs & general appearance. I love this device! The scans are quite good and it’s easy to use. Yes, it’s a bit on the lighter side of solid - but if you respect the plastic, I think it’ll last a long time. Be gentle and it will reward you. Keep the light source and your slides clean, because dust will show in the digital image. It comes with a flat swab stick for wiping the light source in the bottom - use it! So many negative comments suggested a fair chance I'd be quite unhappy with it - but I'm not! Yes, it's plastic and it feels like a child's toy. But it's designed very well and asks no more of a user than respect for its limitations. If you drop it, it'll probably break. If you let dust or dirt land and remain on an inside surface in the light path, you'll have spots on your images. The slide holder is a simple slip fit into the body, and it's up to you to align each slide so that it's scanned edge to edge. It's easy - use a slide on either side of the one you're scanning to move it side to side while watching the display screen (which may be very low resolution but is fine for positioning the slide or frame to be scanned). Scans only take a few seconds per slide, and the image quality is amazingly fine. Except for aligning the film to be scanned, the display screen is useless. But the "editing" tools in the device are rudimentary at best. Just scan each slide as it is and do all your post-processing on a computer or good tablet. I've already scanned about 1000 slides, and I couldn't be happier with the Ivation Hi-Res film scanner. Be gentle with it, treat it right, keep it clean inside & out, and I think it'll do its job for a long time.

Big punch from a little box.
Love this little thing! Perfect for my purposes. Like many, I’m cataloging all the old family slides and this little guy handles it all! Easy to use, quick, and solid. Great buy.

This works great!
This was just what I needed to archive all my negatives. 50 years worth! I just loaded them on a SD card and them put them on my computer. It saved me a ton of money. A little time consuming but well worth it.

Ivation Film Scanner
The Ivation HR23MP Film Scanner performs well. It is relatively simple to use and links easily with computer and image- processing software. The quality of the final images will depend on the quality of the equipment linked to the Ivation unit and the ability of the user to fine-tune the available adjustments. Once captured, an image may be additionally processed using Photoshop or similar software.

Good product to do home-quality scanning
To have better quality you need a scanner, but it takes 2 minutes per slide instead of 2 seconds. To scan old slides I found this a very convenient product at a good price. Don't buy cheaper options, I had to return one. Well designed, easy to use, a good user manual and if the original slide has a decent colour balance the result is very good, otherwise is quite acceptable (for fond slides you can always use a scanner or pay for a professional scanning). To improve colour balance and contrast use a computer programme, don't waste your time adjusting them in the scanner although you can do it and the result is quite good. I highly recommend it.
