My husband is a conductor for the Rail Road and has to get off the train in wet conditions many times. He needed a rain suit that can be carried with him in his backpack and not take up much room. I found this one by Frogg Toggs and he loves it. The price was right so I purchased it. It is very light weight and takes up minimal room in his back pack. He loves the Khaki color instead of the normal banana yellow. We ordered it in XL and it fit him perfectly over his work clothes. The last suit he had we ordered a 2XL thinking he would need the extra room since he's a XL/2XL in clothes. He's 6'0 tall and weighs about 230 lbs. and the XL fit him nicely not too tight or too loose. The quality is a little better than expected for an inexpensive suit, and the Frogg Toggs is a reputable brand. It comes in a nice bag that you can fold the suit back into when not in use. Here are the pros and cons of this set as we found them even with several cons this set still gets a slid 5 stars from us. Pros: -Great Price -Many Sizes and Colors Available -Fit Wonderfully -Very Lightweight, Great when you have minimal storage -Material is breathable and moveable Cons: -No access slits to pants underneath. -No pockets in Jacket or Pants. (Guess that's to help keep out the rain) -No zipper access for using the bathroom. -Might could use a drawstring on the pants. -The material tears easy if it gets caught but can be repaired with duct tape easily -No elastic bottoms on pants and this would be helpful. A few suggestions as this is our second rain suit purchase. Our first was Dri-Ducks by Frogg Toggs. BTW we like this set better but I digress. First suggestion. Order your size, don't order a size bigger thinking you'll need it bigger to go over your clothes. The product allows for clothing underneath in it's design. I would suggest this for yard work, dog walking, and working conditions where thereโ€™s not a lot of strenous movement. I would not suggest it for motorcycle gear. *I paid full price for this product and hope that you have found this review useful to you in some way.

Used the top as a wind and moisture resistant shell on a recent trip to Ireland. It worked out very well.

I bought this for backpacking With the tags, zipper pulls and hood locks removed, the weights are: XL pants 4.75 oz XL jacket 6.13 oz

These things are worth every penny. Used for entire Iceland trip on ring road. While these are not intended for heavy abrasive use, they do their job. Pack very light weight, breathes, can layer underneath for warmth and stay bone dry. Had an 8km hike in 40-50 winds with heavy rain and stayed dry. Cheap enough to replace after trips if tears or rips. Small fit a 5'7" athletic built male. A medium may be needed for the pants for a woman with hips.

We only used this set on a recent trip to Iceland, and while they were a bit thin, they did the job of keeping rain out especially inside the waterfalls. The pants are very wide at the bottom so not sure how they would do for any other use. Still, the set is cheap, arrives in a nice Frogg Toggs fabric bag to carry them in, and they never ripped, even after washing them. Good value!

They do run big but work perfect ๐Ÿ˜ I order my daughter that wears a 7/8 medium and daughter that wears a 10/12 large. I should have ordered a small and a medium. They still worked just fine and kept them dry. We were in Valdez where it rains a lot.

I ordered a medium for my wife who usually wears a small and it fit well over a couple of lightweight thermal layers. Kept her warm and dry for a week fishing in Alaska! These are lightweight and packable so they do compact very well. I have the regular Frogg Toggs that are heavier duty and don't compact as nicely but will take more abuse. If you aren't trudging through thickets, these will work nicely. Just order the next larger size than you'd normally wear.

these are definately men's sizes. i normally wear a ladies 4 or 6 and bought the small. i tried it on over my fleece and there is plenty of room left. here are the measurements from the package (size, chest, waist, inseam) S, 38-40, 30-34, 30 M 42-44, 34-38, 31.5 L 46-48, 38-42, 33 XL 50-52, 42-46, 34 XXL 54-56, 46-50, 35

In Florida, newer homes are built OK but grading is lousy. I've had to drain water from my backyard and trudge through 6 inch water during tropical storms and more recently, Hurricane Irma. The outer bands of the hurricane and the wild rain was coming down in a howling cacophony of wind and water....which was eerie and unsettling for sure. Despite all of that mess, this thing kept me dry as a wick. i purchased this in addition to some knee high heavy duty galoshes. Just be sure to use the face draw string to tighten things up near your face. Other than that....perfecto!

This is a very nice set of rain gear for the price. The more expensive FT's have a zipper at the ankle to allow them to pull over boots easier and a zipper to store the hood. That said, I've ridden my motorcycle 100+ miles and 300+ miles in cold, windy rain and this product kept my g/f dry and did a good job of blocking cold wind on Trail Ridge Road.
