I bought these for the overhead lights in my garage. The switch is quite far from where we park, so when you'd park at night you'd have to stumble around in the dark to turn the lights on. NOT ideal, especially with little kids to bring inside. These did the tricky. Super easy to install, took about 10 minutes total for each. They worked immediately, have a pretty wide range. They "see" me at every spot in the garage. A feature they don't mention that is great - you can adjust it so that the light only turns on when it's dark. That way you're not wasting energy when it's light inside, but you don't have to remember to flick the switch on and off. Definitely worth the money! (If these don't last and break quickly, I will come back and update this, but as for now they are good.)

Great thing to have for those spaces with a pull cord or something archaic like that. Easy to install and reads motion like magic. I put it in a hall closet and love the convenience. Super purchase

I bought 2 so far, both are in 2 different types of outdoor lighting inside decorative glass. they both are great at detecting motion. they have adjustments on the side so I can set how sensitive it is and how long the light stays on, which I love.

This works perfectly in a storage room with an old-fashioned pull string. Catches the movement of the door opening and instant light. The amount of time it stays on is adjustable. I can’t speak for the daylight sensor because the room doesn’t get natural light.

Mounted in outlet shared by garage door opener, works great to light up area with 75 W equivalent LED bulb, great energy saver vs leaving lights on all night. Immediate on without a miss.

I bought this for my garage. At night, I always needed to turn on the overhead light to keep from stumbling over my son's shoes, which he leaves wherever he drops them after coming in from outside. Then, when I would leave to go somewhere in the car, I would leave the light on rather than get out of the car to switch it off -- a real bother! Plus the light would stay on for however long I was gone. So I got one of these babies. It lights up as soon as I enter the garage, revealing any obstructions. Then, after I'm gone, it turns off after about 4 minutes. Great for safety, convenience and economy.

My two sons just never seemed to turn off the lights in their closets. This completely solved that problem. Default run setting was pretty short but its sensitive enough to not really be an issue...and it can be adjusted. I chose to ignore their complaints till they stopped. I suspect they got used to it cause I doubt they took the initiative to adjust it themselves :)

I tried one of those lightbulbs with the same sensor built inside the globe - it was acting weird. I already had one of these at the back porch, but needed one at the top of the stairs in the house. This (after fiddling with the two adjustments) works perfectly! So for inside or outside, I give this a five out of five!

My basement has a light that is at the end of the far wall so this worked as it turns the bulb on when I come down the stairs. I need to figure out how to keep the light on longer (need to read the instructions) but works very well.

I love it. I can set the light sensitivity and time. Best option out there!
