Don't punish yourself any longer
If you're reading this, chances are you have used a dirt bank or some sketchy rigged system to load and unload a mower or ATV into the bed of a truck or trailer. As I've gotten older, too old to wrestle with a 500lb machine, I decided it is past time to give into a real ramp. This ramp is unbelievably light weight, foldable, easy to use, and very sturdy. I've used it to load our son's ATV and a 42" cut riding mower on different occasions into the back of our truck and into a 6'x10' trailer. Not having to seek out a dirt bank to back up to and search for some boards to get things loaded or unloaded is so much nicer. If you're looking to invest in a ramp that will make your job a little easier and a ramp that is light weight and seems to be built well, this would be a great option.

Awesome! So Light and Strong
I am shocked at how lightweight this is. I can move this easily all over the place and it barely takes up any space. I use it to move my mower, snow thrower and furniture in and out of my shed. It helps so much because I used to need help pushing the snow thrower up because I didn't have a ramp. Now I can just wheel it up, then place the ramp back in the shed when finished with it. I weigh over 200+ and I can walk up and down it and never feel like it would break. It's amazing it is so light and so strong. Now I wish I had a truck to use this with. I would definitely recommend this if you need a ramp. It works very well.

Light and STURDY!
This awesome ramp has been used for about twenty different jobs in the last few months, only a few of which were things it was originally intended for. It's light weight enough that it's simple to fold it up and carry it to a new location quickly and easily. It is sturdy enough to handle all kinds of heavy bikes, equipment, and people going over it. Our favorite use to date was the week we had to use it to cross a twenty foot long, six foot deep, two foot across trench that was dug in our yard between where we park and the front door of the house while electrical work was being done on the house - this ramp became the bridge that all members of my family used multiple times daily to get to and from the car! It held up beautifully!

Ten stars if I could!
I can't tell you how many times I have damaged a riding mower, or thrown out my back, or spent too much time trying to build a ramp out of wood, or how much storage space I've used in my garage trying to store a ramp for a four wheeler or mower to get in the back of a pickup truck bed over the years. I've always looked for a cheap solution because ramps were too expensive! Then along comes the CargoSmart Aluminum Tri-Fold Ramp with Treads. Wow! This thing is amazing! Right off the bat, it is LIGHTWEIGHT. Like, unbelievably lightweight. I EASILY carried it around and put it in the garage. No hassle, no strain - it is light. Next thing - storage! It folds over three times so you have a tread that is a little wider than a plank or 2x8 and it is very easy to store along a wall and takes up almost no space at all. In fact, folded up, you can store it almost anywhere! Of course none of this would matter if it wasn't sturdy enough. I'm pretty sure that it will survive anything reasonable thrown at it. I don't expect to go loading my wife's minivan on to this thing, but it is definitely capable of handling a riding mower or ATV or four wheeler. I'm thrilled to death with this - my brother makes stuff like this in the machine shop where he works. It wouldn't be worth the trouble at this price. He's better off ordering this one and saving himself the hassle and trouble! I highly recommend this if you have been trying to load mowers and four wheelers into pickup trucks in the past - it is inexpensive and works great and is easy to store! I'd give it ten stars if I could!

An outstanding cargo ramp. Much safer and reliable than using a pair of ramps.
This is a very heavy duty cargo ramp that is easy to use, but does require reasonable strength to unfold and put into place. But it comes with all the necessary hardware to both store and use the ramp. I have used this on my Honda Ridgeline truck to load an ATV, and it was vastly easier than using my pair of ramps that rarely line up properly because they move in the process of loading. This ramp is also much easier for loading and unloading lawn tractors and snow blowers. The only restrictions are the 50" width and 1500 total lbs. Being able to fold this up and lock it safely in a folded state makes it easy to store or put in the back of your truck. On my truck you cannot store it in the truck bed with the tailgate up because I only have 64". But it does not hang over that much when you put the tailgate up and it comes with tie downs which makes it easy to secure. This ramp is moderately heavy (about 30 lbs) and unwieldy, but the average person will have no problems moving it, setting it up and storing it away. I gave this ramp five stars because it is the safest of all the ramps I have used. It is nicely designed for both utility and safety, and is very well made.

Strong, Sturdy, Easily Storable Truck Ramp
I have been searching for lightweight (but strong) ramps for my Ford 150. This fits the bill. This ramp is actually three approx 16” wide ramps folded together with hinges. The hinges are strongly welded together so that when they unfold, the ramp is 50” wide. I have used them to move a tig welder and a large snow blower easily onto and off my truck. This equipment weighs at least 200 lb each, and yet the ramps held them without apparent stress. This ramp is so much better than the two wooden ramps I have been using for the last year. And the fact that unfolded they are a bit over 4 ft wide makes their use perfect for moving yard equipment on and off a truck and safer given the fact that they will not separate like two wooden ramps. After their use, they can be easily be folded and placed in the bed of the truck or stored in the garage. Five stars for an excellent product.

Very strong and useful ramp for loading large yard devices or even small moving trailers.
Flexible use for something that can support a good amount of weight. Has safety straps to keep it from slipping off the edge. These should work well on pavement, but if using it on turf or dirt, I'd recommend driving either some large screwdrivers (I used to do this with ladders when painting), or if the ground is softer, some tomato stakes on either side of the ramp entrance. Ramp itself is a strong alloy and trifolds to store away without taking up a lot of space, similar to a small extension ladder. Notches allow wheeled mowers, RV's and maybe motor cycles to climb the ramp without slippage. Ramp should be used on a level surface and the straps attaches with tension to keep it from slipping off the attachment. My dad paid 5 times this much for a bi-fold wheel chair ramp with similar strength, so I think the price here is very good. With a sheet of plywood about 1/2 inch you can use this as a mobility ramp, or even on top of a couple work horses, a small scaffold for painting. You can even attach the straps to the work horses. A good purchase with many uses. Recommended.

A proper ramp
I could have used this many times in the past as I have used a short sheet of plywood to drag stuff into my truck. I use a large come-along and the whole thing is difficult and sometimes dangerous. This ramp is well engineered and uses a vast amount of aluminum and many welds. You get your money worth for sure. And it is safe and easy to use. The tie-down of the unit seemed chancy, but in use is just fine and not difficult. I would have preferred the ratcheting sort of belt tighteners, but these work and hold. I attached them to my bumper rather than to the hitch. Each vehicle will be different. The ramp folds up in thirds and is secured close by little latches. It is very easy to carry, deploy and store when folded. I store it against the garage wall, secure against tipping over of course. Takes up little room that way. As can be seen from the product photos, the design is a bit like a cheese grater so that there is traction and it is not slippery. This is fine for wheeled devices and walking up it, but something smooth like a water tank (my last haul) would get scratched. I used that old plywood ramp under the tank and it slid right on up. I think this is about as good as a loading ramp can be and it is recommended.
