More than happy!

I LOVE this mat! We got one extra square piece. It's a really good size! I'd have to get a tape measurer to get actual numbers but it's at least 6x5ft or 6x4.5ft again in just guessing. Some reviews complained bc there's more of some colors than others but it's supposed to be random. I love the caps that go on the edges to make it smooth. Other reviewers complained there wasn't enough colors of those pieces, but again, it's supposed to be random. And when people complained about the side pieces not fitting properly, those are the corner pieces. Very pleased.

Great answer to a short term need

What a great product! Ok, they're are other similar products on the market that are more expensive and probably made with thicker material. But I needed this for my 6 month old God daughter who couldn't crawl or stand very well on the hard wood floors in her home. Blankets are too slippery and slide. So I looked at everything I could think of and came across this item. The price was very affordable, it could be set up so many ways that they fit everywhere, and the primary colors hold babies attention. She only needs this for a few months until she gets her feet moving the right way. There have been a few comments about color leaking. It is important to keep these squares clean and dry. They are easily separated and can be washed and dried in a kitchen sink. I would not recommend cleaning then in place on any floor because then the colors could probably bleed. I think everything that comes in contact with a baby should be cleaned and disinfected regularly. Keep them dry and regularly remove them for cleaning and I don't think you'll have a problem. My girlfriend reports that the hasn't been any color bleeding. There's also been a few comments about the thickness of the squares. I can only report what I know and that is my God daughter has not only mastered crawling but has also graduated to pulling herself up and trying to stand. She couldn't do it on hard wood but she can on these squares. This is not for tumbling exercises or yoga. It's for a baby just starting out exploring her environment. Also, she'll stop needing these long before they wear out. This is a product to answer a short term need.

Big help for little ones on hard floors!

We got this one to replace the previous one we got which was virtually identical but had the alphabet and numbers in it. We loved it, but since she now enjoys taking the letters and numbers out of the tiles (I didn't realize they came out when we purchased it), this not only leaves lots of pieces around the room but also gaps in the cushioning. We will keep using that one (forming the tiles into play cubes and using the separate letters/numbers) as an educational aid, but we felt the "plain" foam tiles would be more useful now for maintaining a soft play area on hard flooring since they will stay intact better. We have not yet used this version but feel sure it will prove out as useful as the previous style was before she began disassembling them!

Versatile

They are well made and soft but firm tiles. We used ours to toddler proof the fireplace.

Love these in my kids room

These are awesome. My three year old helped put them down. I'm not using it under furniture as they are foam. Really adds color and protection to a kids room. I have hardwood floors and didn't want anything hurting that. I'll be ordering one more to do a little more of the room. Very affordable way make a room more fun.

Works great

These are great! There are only 24 edge pieces but that's all you need if you are going to make one big 6X6 mat. I personally made three smaller mats for different rooms and had enough edge pieces to go around two 3X3 mats (only one has corner pieces). I just don't have edges around the third mat, which is totally fine. The edge pieces I received are pink (four corner pieces) purple, light blue, and dark blue. I received the same number of each colored square and each edge piece other than the corner pieces. I have one bigger mat in my office and made it bigger than it needs to be so I don't have to crouch down on the hard floor when my baby and I are hanging out on the floor for tummy time. My dog walks on these and I don't see any marks as a result. There is one scratch from when she ran across one of them when she was playing but it doesn't compromise the integrity of the product.

Just what I needed for my newly crawling baby. This came very fast and the color is nice. If you have hardwood floors in your home, you must buy this!

BEST FOAM MAT!!!! MUST HAVE!!

I bought this foam puzzle mat for my daughter who at the time was 6 months old. She was getting more curious about crawling and only having hardwood floors I knew I had to get something so she would be able to crawl without getting hurt. I purchased this mat and I LOVE it!! It's much bigger than I was expecting and it has corner pieces which keeps her and my oldest daughter (3 1/2) from pulling up the pieces. The mat stays together and she loves the bright colors and she stays on it happy as can be! She has also fallen over (while trying to crawl) and remains safe and happy. Just what we wanted and it exceeded our expectations!! Purchase this mat!! We are also getting a play yard to go around it to keep her extra safe!! :)

We purchased these to do an entire room for our daughter's playroom. We did A LOT of looking and price comparison before buying. These were our cheapest option without sacrificing quality. The product came in great condition, was easy to install, and didn't have any kind of a plastic smell to them. They have only been in use for a week, but no issues so far!
