Worth every penny!

Best product we ever bought. We replaced a manual awning that did not cover the whole patio and was sagging and outdated with this sunshade. We have high winds in our area and our sunshade is 6 months up and still standing. We love it. Perfect size for our patio. Ended up using some string and a mounting kit to install. With wind needed it very secure. Great product. Would buy again for over our pool next year.

Easy to setup and should withstand the weather

We are in a rental in southwest Florida and have no covered lanai. This makes enjoying our outdoor space unbearable for a large portion of the year. We purchased 20thread eye hooks and galvanized Caribenars to secure to the house and used tie down straps with locking teeth to secure to two palm trees Easy to setup, and fairly durable. They are slightly pourous so they won’t allow for water pooling and also allow for wind to go through instead of parachuting.

Just what I wanted.

I was looking for something I could easily hang up and take down without getting in the way or costing a fortune. Found it. Once I got some brackets installed putting this up and taking it back down when I'm not using it only takes about a minute. After using it in direct southern sunshine all day for a few weekends and storing it when not needed, it still looks brand new. In fact it is really tough and well made, I wouldn't worry about it even if I forgot and left it out.

This shade worked perfect for our back deck that didnt have any type of roof at all. We were using an umbrella but it always stressed me out when the wind would blow. For this we attached it to our gutter/roof area and then to the railing but we put extentions up on the railing so that it wasnt super angled. Its working perfectly!

Excellent canopy. I could have ordered a smaller size but I made this one work. Having to identify and locate the anchor points and still maintain the geometry of the rectangle sail was a trial by error endeavor. But at the end of the day it looks beautiful and functional. This sail is not waterproof, water does drain through. It is probably designed this way otherwise all the rain would puddle in the middle of the sail and rip it. With the hooks, it is easy to store my sail when I expect rain. I do this to prevent algae growth on it. Tip: If your sail is square or rectangle - it would help to layout it's diagonal lines to the anchor points so that the sail is stretched equally to maintain that geometry and keep taut.

The color is closer to orange but I guess brick red is kinda orange. Either way the quality on this one seems to be the best of the two I ordered. I got another one from another company that is a brown triangle but the stitching seems much cheaper. I attached a pic of them shading my AC units. I used a temp gun and in direct sun the unit is 135° the other unit next to it in the newly shaded part is only 115° ( this was taken mid afternoon in Las Vegas in a 107° day) but 20° cooler unit has to translate in to energy savings or at least a more efficient unit that will last longer..I have attached a picture.

Love it!

This sun shade is great. Because it lets the wind thru we came leave it up almost all of the time even though we get lots of gusts. It cuts the sun way down and we get much more use from out deck.
