Not just for Puzzle's but works for Lego's too

I originally purchased to use with my 1000 piece puzzles, which was nice to have a an area for just the puzzle and easy to move if I needed to. The bags are great for sorting so no lost pieces. After completing my first puzzle, husband took over and used to build his lego sets. Again, great to have a place to build and be able to move if you need the space. And the bags held the lego pieces that were separated out and no lost lego's. So I would strongly recommend the Jigsaw Puzzle Mat not just for puzzles but legos and other projects too.

It’s a good buy fellow puzzle junkies!

Well I honestly got this probably not for what your looking for it for. I got it so I could glue my completed puzzle on it, in-order to frame it. I thought that it would be perfect for it because the size was actually pretty spot on. I am all about DIY stuff and figured I could frame the puzzle all by myself and save a few hundred dollars! I used the foam padding as my backing in away and I am cutting a frame out in my garage. With wood, padding, nails etc. I paid 50.00 and I looked online and it would cost over 300.00 to get it framed the way I want it. So I figured I would do it myself! I can also say that this is a really nice board for anything you need it for, as you can see you can possible have another resin besides what it’s for, but the board is made quilts products and you can tell that it will last a long time. It’s light weight so you can easily move it from one area to the other, and it’s flexible but very solid and made well. It also comes with two bags to put your puzzle pieces in and own bag to place the lord in when your not using it. So I thought those two added things was a nice little extra treat. I’d buy it again and after o get done with this project I will probably buy another and have to put my next puzzle on!! It’s a good buy fellow puzzle junkies!

Perfect for 1000 Piece Puzzles!

I was so excited to receive this in the mail because I love to complete puzzles with my family. This is a high quality heavy-duty board that allows you to keep your puzzle in tact while completing it at your own leisure. It is very strong and does not bend easily, so it allows you to move your puzzle if you need to use the space for something else. This is perfect, and I would highly recommend it for all of you puzzle-lovers out there.

Good size, light weight

I purchased this as a present for my mother who does a lot of jig saw puzzles. She has a table that is sort of dedicated to puzzles, so at first I was hesitant to get this, but she has said it's great. It actually gives her a little more space to work (some puzzles were right at the edge of her table before) and she says it's light enough to just pick up a puzzle and move it out of the way. That way if she has people coming over, she can put up the table she uses for puzzles without having to delicately move it while worrying about destroying the puzzle.

Just what I needed

I've just resumed doing jigsaw puzzles after half a century. The main difference between then and now is the presence of my inquisitive cat, so I needed a portable board to remove the work in progress between sessions. I was horrified to find very expensive boards, and disappointed to find folding boards that had uneven places in the fabric covering, and frustrated to find roll-up blanket boards that allowed the pieces to fall out of place. Then I discovered this one. It isn't wood, but it's sturdy. It doesn't fold, and has no lumps. It holds my puzzle firmly, with a cloth covering that feels a little like felt, but is stretched smoothly enough to prevent bumps. Although it comes with a cloth drawstring bag and two zip-loc plastic bags, they're not necessary. This is more affordable than the fancier wooden ones with lazy Susan style and built-in drawers. It's a no-nonsense board that is precisely what I needed.

Comes with a bag to keep your pieces in and the background makes it easier to use! Still have to be careful moving it, but it gets the job done!! Love it!

Good puzzle mat

My wife likes this mat for her puzzles. The picture shows the border of a 1000 piece Charles Wysoki puzzle started. A larger puzzle wouldn't work. It's perfect for an ongoing project that needs to be moved on occasion without starting over. The texture helps keep the pieces from moving when carrying it.

Perfect family fun.

I bought this for my 9 year old son and I to spend some quality time doing something together and break the routine of some nights where the kids are either playing video games or on YouTube. So far we have put together puzzles of 250 and 500 pieces and we now want to bring it up a notch to piece together our first 1,000 piece puzzle. Quality of the puzzle mat is great and it's very firm to the point that you can almost hold it with one hand without all the pieces falling off. I am impressed with how well this puzzle mat can hold all pieces together without barely any effort. Package comes with a nice cloth bag as well as two plastic bags to store your puzzle pieces to avoid losing them.

Great Addition to my Puzzling

I'm kicking myself for not ordering this sooner. I love working on jigsaw puzzles. I once bought a roll up felt puzzle mat but it was awful; it didn't lay flat and made puzzling more difficult as opposed to easier. This, on the other hand, while it doesn't roll up (so it takes more room to store) it is a completely flat surface and does not affect the puzzle in any way other than providing a flat and moveable surface. Very worth the money if you're a jigsaw puzzle fan.

Great for Puzzle-making in Recliner

This mat was just what I was looking for. I use it to work on puzzles while sitting in my recliner watching TV. A 1000 piece puzzle fit well on the mat. It is slightly flexible, but stiff enough to carry it without it folding. When not working on it, I store it on my dining room table with two place mats over the puzzle, so the cat can’t make off with the pieces. This along with the sorting trays from White Mountain are a great combo for puzzle-making in the evening in the living room. Note: may be too small to fit the White Mountain 1000-piece puzzles, which have a 30” width. Bummer.
