Great Customer Service!

Giving two stars because I like this brand of anti-glare screen protector and have used them on several of my iPads, however iCarez has made a mistake in their math and the cut out for the Face ID system is incorrect and not wide enough. I find this out after putting my 1st screen protector on. Bubble free and perfect until I tried unlocking my iPad, then it was “camera covered” “camera covered”. I’m sure iCarez will correct this and hopefully send me out some new protectors once they do. If that happens I’ll update my review to 5 stars but in the meantime, be aware, the Face ID cut out is too small and will not allow Face ID to work. I hand cut my second protector just to have something on my iPad for now but it does not look factory at all. Going to reach out to iCarez and hopefully they will fix this. (Update) Just got my replacement screen protectors today with the correct cut and I love them! Fits great, and has a great texture when drawing with the Apple Pencil ! Thank you iCarez for being so quick to correct the problem and having all around great customer service! Very happy with the new protectors!

It totally blocks face id camera. Please make a improved version and send it to those who already bought wrong one. UPDATED REVIEW I contacted icarez customer service, and they have sent me an upated version. This version is now have perfect cutout for camera and face id camera. Unlike glass protectors, icarez protector don't have any touch sensitivity issues(apple pencil also works perfectly). It is just perfect except clarity. If you do lots of drawing on your ipad pro, get this one. icarez protector has matt finish and the surface has smooth texture for drawing.

I figured I should update my review for the updated version. I just received the new version of the screen protector and it now supports Face ID! I really appreciate customer service getting back about the updated version and sending out the new versions to customers who had bought the originals which had not supported Face ID. Thank you for correcting the problem so quickly and getting them resent! As mentioned in the original review the matte feels great and I love the feel of it with the Apple Pencil. I wasn’t liking how the Apple Pencil felt on the glass screen of the iPad, which I use often for drawing. While choosing a matte finish does sacrifice the clarity of the beautiful Retina display, it does feel nice and I like the additional texture it adds. I also love the anti-glare and easy application. Really happy with the quick update and fix as I had heard good things about this brand previously! --Original Review-- As other reviews have mentioned the cut out for the camera blocks the Face ID making it useless. Only when it was applied. Before taking off the protective films I tested it and it was unlocking fine. As soon as it was actually applied Face ID does not work. It was pretty easy to apply which was nice. The matte itself was to be expected as well. Not as clear as I had hoped, but not terrible. The texture was nice and I wish the Face ID would work with it. Unfortunately, it’s basically useless unless you cut away at the top which isn’t easy or pretty. Or if you don’t care about Face ID, then I guess this is great.

GREAT MATTE SCREEN PROTECTOR FOR HEAVY DRAWING!!!

I first bought this because I loved the matte screen protector and a friend recommended them to me. I knew that the Face ID wasn't working with the version I first bought which was fine because I didn't use Face ID. I just got the new version in the mail today and I was definitely not expecting that. I give props to the seller for trying to maintain their customer base and brand equity while fixing problems there were brought up. I've tried several matte screen protectors before this brand and this is the best by far. I do a lot of illustrations through Procreate and Affinity Designer so I know what to look for when it comes to heavy drawing on an iPad. It feels so smooth and satisfying when I use my apple pencil. It doesn't leave any marks or scratches from the pencil and I love it! The installation process was precise and organized. I HAVE NEVER PLACED A SCREEN PROTECTOR SO PERFECTLY IN MY LIFE! No bubbles, no lint, no hair, and it was perfectly placed. I couldn't be more proud of myself.

This is the best screen protector I’ve ever bought for a lot of reasons but two specifically. 1) I have not ever seen a system for installing a screen protector that is absolutely fool proof. Until now. They include stickers to stick to the screen once you have it lined up on the product the way you want it, then you pull it back, clean screen get everything off peel off the first side that attaches to the screen, pull the tab you’ve affixed to the top (opposite from the other ones you put on to keep it lined up) I was able to pull it up and fix air bubbles then removed the protective shield and it’s perfect.. no bubbles or anything! The instructions were clear, not over done, to the point and pretty self explanatory. 2) and probably my absolute favorite part about it is that it is NOT tempered glass!! I do NOT like the glass protectors. I know I’m in the minority on that front my husband is all about the glass, I am not. So finding such an amazing protector, that’s super affordable and NOT glass... perfect for me! 3) it’s Matte, using the 2nd generation pencil on it is amazing, feels like righting on very expensive paper.. and I haven’t noticed any changes in screen responsiveness. So if you don’t like glass this the perfect option for you. If you aren’t great at applying these without them ending up crooked and filled with bubbles this is DEFINITELY the protector for you!! Oh and it comes with 2 protectors!! It arrived quickly, the packaging is nice and allows you to keep it for storing the other protector.

The best screen protector for my 11 inch Ipad Pro

I have had several screen protector for my Ipasd air, 10.5 inch ipad pro, and my recent 11 inch Ipad Pro. This is the best screen protector - ever. It completely eliminate the glare on my screen - probably because of the matte-finish. I can also use my pen and facial recognition works perfectly. I tried to scratch it with my keys and a knife, and there was no scratch whatsoever tho I did not apply too much pressure. This also seem to be smudge free! I don’t know how durable this is as I just got this today. I suppose time will tell but, in the meantime, this product rock! I highly recommend this screen protector. Oh, I have had several of those tempered glass protector. They are very durable but they smudge easily it’s so annoying. I just havr to be careful not to accidentally drop my Ipad with the screen exposed ( it does have a case) as am not sure that the screen protector will protect it from cracking or breaking

Best matte/anti glare there is!!!

I’ve managed to purchase iCarez screen protectors for my iPad Pro 9.7,10.5, and now 11in and every time I’m super satisfied. It’s an install which requires patience, but the end product is better than any other I’ve used. The install guide stickers have never lost their stick, which has happened with other brands and results in a guessing game during install, or dust specks under the screen protector. It does cut the “brilliance” of the screen, but I think it looks fantastic regardless. Apparently their old version for the 11in has issues, but I received the updated version and I have no issues. Only sad thing is this version didn’t come with amazon prime :(. Other than that 10/10 would recommend for a friend, and pay me enough I’ll do yours ;) Also plays well with my case, which my other screen protector did not. Plus no touch issues like my other case either.

Face ID works! Works well with Apple Pencil

This updated product is compatible with face recognition. The instructions on how to apply the screen protector were somewhat confusing, but it had a link where you can watch their video on how to apply screen protectors to tablets — icarez.com/install . I didn’t pay attention that this one wasn’t glass, but i was mostly looking for something that feels less slippery when using the Apple Pencil. This screen protector went on really well without any air bubbles. I can’t even tell that it’s on whatsoever. Overall i’m impressed for the price. Disregard any old reviews mentioning that their old product isn’t compatible with Face ID because it is now. I just wanted to write this review because i felt like many others are now irrelevant.

Original version doesn’t support Face ID , but I cares has updated and it’s a great product

I was one of those who bought the original version of this product and had trouble with Face ID. Once I figured out what was wrong I gently lifted the screen protector and carefully extended the cutouts. A stop gap solution so I had protection. The screen protector looked funny on top but it worked. Then I carefully used a ruler and razor to cut the second protector and used that instead. I contacted Amazon to advise of the situation and they refunded me my money. I waited and have ordered the new version. It arrived and I can verify it has been updated. The quality of these protectors are top notch and with the clear instructions and additional stuff in the package, install is very easy. And alignment is super simple if you take your time and follow their directions. Also, I recommending doing this in your bathroom after leaving a hot shower running... it helps get dust out of the air. Yes, you may have some moisture air bubbles if it’s TOO steamy, but those come out super easy. This is a good company and a good product. Yes, they jumped the gun, but they are making it right for people. Don’t let the early hiccups dissuade you from buying the revised version. It’s perfect.

protected my iPP 11 screen from a bad “Oops!”

I got the first version that blocked Face ID and iCarez responded immediately to replace it with the new version, which works perfectly with Face ID. I’ve been quite happy with the screen protector just doing what it does. A few days ago, while I was working a booth at a trade show, one of the heavy metal display stands for our trail cameras fell against my iPad screen. The sharp, thick corner made a hole in the screen protector and a scratch below the hole. The white bump in the photo is the crumpled part of the screen protector that was torn. I was so relieved when I got home and replaced the protector yesterday because there was no damage to the screen. I don’t know whether the screen would have been okay if it hadn’t had a screen protector on it or if it had had a glass screen protector on it, but I know I don’t want to find out. I’ve already ordered another package so I have spares on hand, just in case.
