Sold as like new but was missing feet, remote, instructions and power cord was cut. of 4 units ordered only one was as described and that review follows. Compact, easy to install, quiet, efficient. Comes with legs so can be used either as portable or wall mount. Has removable and cleanable air filters. 3 foot cord and can be mounted so cord does not show. remote, or manual controls, Display shows room temp, and set temp. has 2 modes full and economy.The thermostat functions well.

best infrared heater I have seen

I just received this heater today and it is awesome it does a wonderful job doesn't weigh hardly anything at all and isn't much bigger than a VCR I'm very impressed with it if you want to save money on your heating bill by one of these it only took 4 days to arrive. After having mine for A few days the part of the fan running when the heat is off is to stay at the temperature you chose. Works like a central unit. I keep mine set at 75. If it reaches 80 even with elements off fan kicks on until its back down to 75. Smart heater!

I am a mechanical engineer with 4 patents, certified mechanic, 35+ years as a handyman, repair motorhomes, cars, power equipment, computers and a small boatbuilder. I have a few comments about this heater, although normally reluctant to praise a product, this heater deserves review. - It is a thoughtfully designed, brilliantly executed heater. Wall mounting prevents most likely accidents or fires associated with space heaters. - The 1000 watt power requirement means it is less likely to cause electrical problems with older or poor wiring, with a nearly unnoticeable reduction in heat output. -The unit is compact, filters are easily cleaned, easy to remove and replace. Controls are clear and simple, comes with a remote, batteries, and even a mounting template with level attached. Mounting took approximately 2 minutes. -I am using it in a 32 foot motorhome to heat the bedroom and bathroom only, it heated a 170 square foot area from 42 degrees to 68 degrees in under 5 minutes. The thermostat has a low setting of 40, perfect for preventing freezing in the whole motorhome. Output air is warm, not hot. I can comfortable hold my hand 6 inches away from the vent without pain. Will also help prevent unfortunate accidents by overheating surfaces nearby. -It is QUIET. Sound isolation feet and pads prevent noise transfer to the wall. The first unit arrived with shipping damage. I called customer service, had a return shipping label the next day. Got the new unit 5 days later, but not before being contacted by customer service about disposition of the refund. Stellar product, perfect customer service. I wish all companies were this good. Thank you!

Hot Little Workhorse

Heats up pronto and has the added convenience of a remote control. Heated up my unheated 12 x 12 guest room in a reasonable amount of time and kept it warm thanks to a great little thermostat. This way I can keep my house cool at night, while giving guests the chance to heat up their room should they prefer a warmer sleeping temp.

I just received my second heater. I've had one for a couple months and it works great and is very energy efficient with the 500/1000 watt settings. It also runs with very little noise and is super easy to mount. I don't want to use wood heat anymore and these heat my place up really well. I shopped around quite a bit and found the positive reviews here accurate and helpful.

This little heater is great!

I had a freestanding IR heater that I used in my bedroom during the winter, but it crapped out, so I started looking for other options. I liked the idea of this heater, because it sits on the wall, and doesn't take up floor-space like my old heater did. Also, since it is wall-mounted, I didn't need to worry about it tipping over. The heater has two power modes, and once it reaches the lower-end of your set temperature, it switches over to the lower heat setting, until it hits the upper heat range, when it shuts off. This gradual heating prevents the room from cycling between too hot and too cold, with the heater doing a pretty good job of keeping the temperature in a small band. I am using the heater with a timer, so it turns on half an hour before bed time, and off around when my furnace turns on in the morning. The heater remembers the setting it was on when power is restored: If it was off, it stays off. If it was on, it goes right back to that temperature setting. I do think I might shorten the life of the heater by preventing it from doing a proper cool-down cycle, but that's a tradeoff I'm willing to make. The amazing thing is that this heater stays cool to the touch all over, even the grille. Installation is easy, it includes a template with a level in it. It also has the option to change the thermometer calibration. Word of caution: If you install it on an exterior wall, it's likely that the temperature will read incorrectly, the heater will think it is colder than it really is, and overheat your room. If at all possible, put it on an interior wall. Also, this goes for ANY heating device: NEVER use with a power strip or an extension cord, and if your wall outlet has trouble holding onto your plugs. replace the outlet before using it for any high-load device like this or any other heater.

After a lot of searching we're so glad to have found these. Lightweight - comes with mounting hardware for installation into Sheetrock and although I always prefer to find a stud you should have no problem hanging this in half inch or larger rock. Warms the two 10x14 rooms we use them in quickly. Has kept them warm down to 38 degrees, the real test will be below freezing but I feel like they'll perform well - at least as well as any 1500 watt we've ran on the floor before - and the main reason we bought them was to get heaters off the floor. We've bought three, all work as well as the others and they look like they're meant to be where they are. Much better appearing than the random space heater on the floor and much more practical with the thermostat and remote. Must have for pet and small children households that rely on space heaters and great for small areas with limited floor space.

Not one thing to complain about... compared to other forced air (fan) space heaters this one is the quietest I’ve ever used and I really don’t understand other reviews stating this heater is noisy??? I also like the fact that it only uses 1000W instead of the typical 1500W and throws enough heat for my small room. I think by adding a GFIC to the plug this heater would be great for bathrooms too! I have no complaints regarding the heater... but DON'T USE the LEVEL supplied in the wall mounting kit - use your own level or buy one. The level supplied should only be used as a template for the mounting screws.

I just received product and it was everything as stated. Nice clean look, really quiet and is working well. I had a small issue and called customer service. WOW! Carie in customer is the best customer service I've ever had, we even got cut off and she went to the trouble of finding my phone number. I will do a follow up review of the heater in about a month.Now that I've had this heater for a couple months I'm really impressed. Heats my 34' travel trailer perfectly even on the 1000 watt setting without a amp. problem, doesn't trip any switches like my old heater did if we had too many things on. I have to repeat about the customer service is the best

I love this little heater so much that I bought six of them.

I'm the Executive Director of a dog rescue and sanctuary in GA, and we needed something energy efficient, and more importantly, safe, to heat the dog "cabins" at our facility (each cabin is appx. 8' x 8' x 8'). So happy that we found these little heaters. They're crazy energy efficient (for a space heater), user-friendly, relatively compact, cool to the touch, and wall-mount installation could not be easier! Plus, no hard-wiring means that they can be easily removed in the spring once it warms up again.
