As advertised, made in the USA and I have tested this out. I like it a lot. Remember it has a blade like a chain saw but is manual power. Impressive cutting but can seem to get stuck at times. I've taken down numerous 5" branches even bigger too. I would recommend it. It's a good workout too. You will be surprised how much sawdust you can produce.

Worked well Beyond my expectations! Just remember branches 25 feet up are much larger when they hit the ground!

Edited to add: Product description has been updated with the correct information. I have increased the rating from 3 stars to 5 stars as the product is very good. It just wasn't what I wanted, nor was it what was described. Description now matches product and the rope chain saw works very well for me. Original Review: I should have known given the product model number but I had been looking through the various 48-inch chain options and this popped up. So if this pops up while you're looking for through 48-inch rope chains, I hope you see this review. This is the current product description with "4-feet" in the description. "Professional High Limb Chain Saw, used by professional forestry organizations all over the world. This legendary product with its special patent carbide steal, bidirectional cutting system will save you ten of thousands of dollars in your outdoor landscaping forestry needs. With its 4-foot chain and its 25 foot ropes there is nothing that this chainsaw can’t handle." I saw that it was just out from the manufacturer, was all made in America and although a few dollars more than the 48-inch chains I had been looking at, I decided to go with the all made in America. I requested that that the description be fixed. The only hint of its real size is the model number. I wish that had caught my attention. Rating would be 5-stars if the product was correctly described. 3-stars because a 26-inch chain is not equal to 4-feet.
