Great Knife Block

Was pleasantly surprised by this item. It's heavy and doesn't show any sign of tipping over or moving when we put knives onto and off of it. I fit my 8 pc. entire knife set onto it without issues. The magnets are strong and taking a knife of is much easier if you twist the knife first so only the spine is resting on the block. It will slightly magnetize your knives just like any other magnetic object. Would definitely buy again.

Great product that can store more knives than most.

I am a knife collector and have more knives than I know what to do with. I didn't want another magnetic wall mounted strip and am not a huge fan of blocks. I was surprised right out of the box at the weight of this thing. I bought the 14 inch and it's got very strong magnets but is heavy enough not to slide around or fall over when taking a knife off. The magnets are strong enough to hold a longer 10 in slicer knife without it sliding down, which has been an issue with other racks of this similar design. Looks good too. Couldn't be happier. My only slight gripe and it's a minor one. The placement of the magnets limits how many knives you can put on here. I tried to crowd it a bit and the magnets will make the knife slide to the side a 1/4 inch or so.

A must have kitchen essential

Everything you need to know about the product is available from the seller and reviews. An honest product Great innovation for your kitchen. Gives your utensils plenty of air to dry. Does what it’s supposed to do. Holds plenty of utensils . What more can I ask for.... Wish the magnets were stronger and more throughout the board ( so I can attach more of my kitchen essentials). For the price, I may as well order another one...

Holds a TON of knives!

I ordered the largest size as a gift for my husband, and it definitely exceeded our expectations! I'm amazed at how many knives it holds! The magnet is secure enough to hold knives on both sides without issue. Highly recommend!

Well designed and excellent bamboo quality

Well designed and excellent bamboo quality. Magnets are strong enough to hold any kitchen knife and you get twice the area because it is double sided. Excellent value and as good as the other listed on Amazon for much more. It is most likely the same product from a different seller.

magnetic knife holder - fantastic!!

I have to admit, I was skeptical of this knife block. Reviews were just a little mixed, mostly positive though. The makers seemed very accommodating for improving it. I must say, it arrived last week, have all my knives on it, using the front and back and it's absolutely great! I have an older one, not this brand, that's really small and holds knives awkwardly. This one doesn't have those issues. I have all my chef, bread, and long knives on the front and my carving and filet knives on the other. It's great!!! A bit large, as others stated, but that's what I needed and wanted. Magnets are indeed great, the surface is totally flat, no rocking knives. A great product. If it happens to change, I will certainly post an update, but I don't expect it at all. Great product!! On a side-note: I don't rate everything I purchase, just the exceptional ones I feel deserve it. Since I have had a terrible time trying to find a good magnetic block for knives, I thought it best to provide my two cents on this one. If the others sizes are anything like the large one I have, you can't go wrong. I found others that cost hundreds, this is both a good product and a good value.

Cool block, keeps knives away from toddler’s reach

Since our toddler reaches into drawers we can no longer keep our knives there. I didnt want to drill holes in my new tiles for a traditional magnetic strip so was super happy to stumble upon this block. It’s cuter than the traditional blocks. The magnet seems pretty strong. The only thing is that knives need to be placed vertically and not tilted, otherwise they will fall. That’s ok with me as a tilted look would be sloppy anyhow.

Better than the slot block type holders.

I like the sanitary aspect of these holders and the fact that blades are visible. Block type holders tend to get questionably funky in the slots over time. I like seeing the damascus patterns and temper lines of my knives and fits well with the bamboo aesthetics of the holder. The magnets are strong enough to hold my favorite cleaver securely but will not work on ceramic knives (duh). The unit is heavy enough so that it stays put when you retrieve and return your knife. I am very happy with this purchase, including the free on-time delivery.

WOW!

I wanted a safe, magnetic storage solution for my high quality, SHARP kitchen knives. What I didn't want, is to do is drill into my beautiful tile backsplash! THIS is the PERFECT solution. The magnets are strong enough to hold my largest/heaviest knives. This gorgeous bamboo holder is exactly what I needed to solve the problem. It is very attractive, almost artistic on my minimalist countertops. I am a serious home cook, and I would repurchase this in a second!!

I like it.

Nice weight, plenty of room. Two-sided but I'm only utilizing one. which contains a five=piece knife set, one additional chef's knife and one sharpener. Strong magnets - snatched the knives right out of my hand. My chef's knife is 7.5 inches and the hilt goes about a half inch above the top.
