Get a longer rope!!

This magnet and rope does exactly what it's advertised to do. Extremely powerful. This was my first magnet and my first experiment in magnet fishing. So far I haven't found anything valuable, unless you want to put a value on fun, fun, fun!! My daughter and I have caught a lot of interesting stuff, enough to keep us going back for more. Just like real fishermen, I guess. I found I needed about 75 feet of rope for the places I had available to "fish." Remember, it's always easy to shorten a rope much easier that it is to stretch it!!! I've bought three more magnets of varying attraction strengths, the strongest one being 880 pounds! They make much stronger ones, but, that's strong enough for me right now.

This magnet is great! Going from a 300some pull force to 600 is a HUGE DIFFERENCE!! The selling company is awesome, too. Their customer service is hands down AWESOME.

I liked the idea of this setup because I didn't have to rely on my granny knot holding that I would do if it wasn't already tied. You can't tell from the pictures, but under the heat-shrink tubing the rope is stitched together all the way down. I've pulled up some heavy things and have never doubted the ability of this setup! I would recommend putting some thread locker (LocTite) on the eye bolt threads as insurance. It may not be necessary, but it gives you peace of mind.

Strong pull , well made magnet , quality Rope too.

I wanted a good Magnet that had decent pulling power , not to weak and not so strong that you cant pull in what you connect with or get get the magnet off of once you haul in you find. This 600lb Magnet is perfect . The Magnet is good quality , as is the Threaded "eye" hook . Be sure to add some blue or better yet, Red thread locker before screening eye into magnet. I was please with the quality of the 35' rope that came with the combo , it has a loop on each end that is sewn and has heavy blue heat shink tube to protect the the sewn part and smooth it out. Although we did not catch /find anything great , it was a lot of fun , my buddies were really into it and we drew a small crowd that wanted to see us pull in some kind of treasure . Definitely can see this being an addicting hobby. Tips - Use some sort of gloves, like mechanics gloves, your hands get wet and dirty and the rope starts to cause some irritation, especially when pulling in the magnet. •Do not get bit! ... use caution when separating the magnet from large items , i was pulling a wrench off the magnet and I slipped ..i had the wrench part way off the magnet , lost my grip and the skim between my thumb and index finger was oiched so hard that it broke the skin..nevermind it hurt like hell. • Keep your magnet wrapped up in a towel , in a box with some foam around it , a small cooler etc ..if it is loose it can ATTATCH itself to things you dont want it too. One guy was walking close to the side of his brand new truck , the magnet LATCHED onto the side of the truck and put a nasty dent in it and took some paint off down to the metal !! Overall it's a great magnet and a lot of fun.

600# fishing magnet Love it. It picked up my keys before I even opened the box. Also it did awsome walking around holding it above the ground and picking up nails after a roofing project. thought we got them all by hand but the magnet proved we didnt.

Very nice quality! Highly recommended. Powerful. It found the weights on my cuckoo clock as I walked by and it decided to bring them along without me trying. I emailed the seller with a question and had a very fast response. I would buy from them again!

Strong Magnet!

This is a strong magnet. We got it stuck on a cast iron pan and had to pry it off. The cord is thick nylon and pretty tough which you will need to haul in that giant treasure chest. My son found a bunch of magnetic rocks with it so far. He’s happy so I’m happy.

Bought as a gift....he has used it several. Times....only recommendation is to change the carabiner to a stronger”heavier “ one....

Everything works as it should, magnet is strong. I put loc tite on treads for more security. I haven’t caught anything good yet but still trying
