Replacement HDD for PS4 Slim
Installed in my PS4 Slim. Easy upgrade.

FINALLY Got the ITEM I was trying to get...
The Hard drive is thinner than the 500gb one that I have from 3 years ago. It fits in my CD caddy on my laptop perfectly. The speed is adequate for media files and backup storage. I am not sure about the speed for gaming because it is 5400rpm... so I give it 3 star. Side note - Amazon really need to work on their search engine on their site, I put in 2.5" Hard Drive over and over again, and it came up with 3.5", so the first one ordered was the wrong one, even though I limited the search to 2.5" drives... so beware of that when looking for hard drives on Amazon.

Cost-Effective Upgrade
When Dell declined to deliver my new laptop computer with a 2 TB hard drive, I ordered this one from Amazon. After installing Acronis True Image, I used it to clone the existing hard drive onto this one, using a handy USB hard drive enclosure. Then I replaced the existing hard drive in my Dell with this one. Boot-up with this new hard drive went without any issues while doubling the factory-supplied mass storage for my computer. Since then I've installed additiional software to use my new computer and continue to be pleased with this hard drive's performance. Based on the accumulation of files on my previous laptop, I'm confident that this additional storage capacity will serve my needs for several years.

Replaced my dead XBOX One hard drive (internal)
This worked perfectly to revive my dead xbox one. The HDD had gone bad and a little research showed this should be a good replacement. XBOX internal max allowed size is currently 2TB so this was perfect. I followed the online instructions (not from Microsoft) and it worked like a charm! Very happy with it so far. Hard Drives only have a life-span of about 3-5 years. We'll see how long this one lasts :)

Just Perfect
Okay.. I was skeptical to buy this 2TB for 75$ For my slim PS4 because the price is too good to be true. Also I haven’t changed hard drives at all, but with a help of a YouTube video to install step by step. It took me 15mins to do. Plus downloading the “FULL FIRMWARE” on PlayStation’s site. Now downloading my games from the PlayStation Plus and the saved data is going to take some hours to do. In the end, I was surprised to have taken my PS4 from 500GB to 2TB of space! The Seagate 2TB was formatted for to 1.77 TB. I’m not going to complain or anything because I did just have 500GB and I always had to delete and download new games in order to play, but now I can put multiple games at the same time and play! Awesome buy! If you are looking to increase your PS4 storage for more game plays or if you waiting to buy the PS5 (like me and buy in 2021 summer perhaps) and you want to enjoy your PS4 a little more then buy this HD! You won’t miss out! In a way it’s better to play 80$ for a HD than on 500$ for a PS5 right now. Cheers!

Have Bought over 25 of these and never had issue! A++
I have a computer shop and buy these all the time and you would think they are SSD drives they run very quick and they never let me down when I need to install one into the customer's laptop. I recommend the Barracuda's because I have never had an issue and the delivery is fast! I get them in one day which is perfect when I need one. I bought 2 because I have a customer needing one and have one for backup for another customer. These are very reliable and won't let you down. So far every drive I have bought has been perfect. If you are looking for a fast and efficient drive at a low price this is the one! NOTE: Don't get me wrong SSD drives are much faster but cost a little more so if your on a budget and want a decently fast HDD get this one you won't be sorry.

Great for the money
Great product and great price. My husband installed one then I purchased an additional one to have my pc redone. I have a Lenovo brand new and it broke a week after purchasing. The warranty of the product is pointless when Lenovo makes you mail them the item wait months then they mail it back with the same drive and the same company of the drive maker. I purchased two of these Seagate 1TB drives and they have made this a whole new laptop. I highly recommend them.

Very quiet hard drive
I have home server that uses all SSD and Nvme. All my services in my server does heavy reads and barely any writes. Now I am going to start having very few logging services in my server that does heavy writes so I decided to go with this hard drive. My server is very quiet and you wouldn't notice it is on. If I use any full size hard drive you can hear it spinning and writing, so I decided to go with this hard drive which is very quiet and you wouldn't notice it's there so it worked out. I don't know how reliable these drives are. All I do know is if the drive dies then it's fine since I don't mind loosing log data. My logging service does heavy writes and does not require fast write speed. For gaming I wouldn't use these drives.

W-7 Professional is back to life!
My old trusty HP laptop W-7 workhorse went South with the BSOD (Blue screen of death) due to another very jealous virus horse. Came in the 2TB Seagate Barracuda and my Stallion is brand new all over beating the most despised W-10 Operating System. The process was very easy and it fitted the caddy perfectly. After reinstalling the W-7 Professional Opereating System I had more space than the 1TB Samsung stock hard drive. A happy customer recommends this product!

Seagate. 'Nuff Said.
I expect a lot from Seagate; I've used their HDDs for years. This one did not disappoint. I bought it when the Hitachi drive in my laptop started going bad. Luckily I had checked and realized it had a Hitachi drive, so I was expecting it. Never, ever, under any circumstances, pay money for a Hitachi drive unless you are trying to lose your data. I cloned the Hitachi (after several attempts to get it to work one last time) over to a 500GB partition on this drive and simply formatted the remaining space to use as a second logical drive. The only difficulty I had is the thickness. It is much thinner than a standard drive, but in my case that just meant paying attention to the alignment. Once aligned properly it slipped right into place. Replace the battery, press power, and voila! The computer doesn't even know anything happened. It's been running well ever since, and that was months ago. I'm not a big gamer, so I gave three stars on gaming because I really don't know. If anyone is going to get serious gaming, use an SSD anyway.
