- The Strata 12-Piece Set is designed for maximum performance right out of the box. The set includes: Driver, 3 Wood, 5 Hybrid, 6- 9 Iron, PW, Putter, Stand Bag and 2 Head covers
- Woods: Lightweight 460cc forged driver that has a large sweet spot, a titanium head, and provides more forgiveness to help you hit it farther off the tee. An oversized 3 wood is forgiving with a more aerodynamic head shape for long, high flying shots
- Hybrid: A 5 Hybrid is a great alternative to difficult long irons that gives you more confidence on a variety of shots
- Irons/Wedge: Stainless steel irons (6 -9 irons, PW) offer a great combination of forgiveness and control
- Putter: A mallet putter with alignment to help give you incredible accuracy

Best deal around!
This was a great set for me as a beginner. Case is the perfect size w/out being massive. I fit my glove, shoes, brews, tees, balls umbrella and clubs very comfortably. The automatic stand springs in and out seamlessly. Only needed to add a multi wedge w/great range to this set. I am considering adding some low irons to be more consistent. Hybrids are good but I would rather practice irons and drivers rather than try and get good at 3 types of clubs to start. The drivers have hold up well to me smashing them over and over into earth and cement at the range and in the yard. No snaps. I recommend taking them for a hard test drive as soon as you get them so if any have flaws or break, it is covered. One iron had a crease or crack in the body but it hasn't changed the performance. It seems only cosmetic.

Worth the price...!
Great price for a new set of golf clubs. These are a second set I keep down south so I don't have to lug my clubs back and forth on the airlines. The set is complete with carry bag and all. My other set are Ping and I shoot the same no matter which set I use My handicap is not improved by more expensive clubs😆

Best $220 Ive spent in awhile!
Really glad I bought these clubs. Even though I'm not a beginner, I have not played in quite sometime, much less owned my own clubs ever. Yes I read alot of reviews on this set along with the bigger sets. I chose these due to they are cheaper than the others. Although I have only played 9 holes with them so far, I did not experience any of my clubs breaking or have any other unusual damage to them, they have just a couple scuffs from my lack of experience with the game. I would recommend these to anyone! As for the fitting, at first it felt like these might be a bit short, but that was due to my improper stance which was fixed over this past weekend, so yes they do fit someone that is 5'10".

Awesome golf set
Awesome golf set! I played at a course in Florida where they had $1,200 rental sets (they didn't cost that much to rent...that's how much they would have cost to buy as a set). These clubs outplayed those sets. I can hit these clubs well. Very nice! I am very impressed!

Great beginner set
Great beginner set. I recently started playing golf and wanted to find a nice set of clubs that I could learn to play with. I have been using them for about 6 months and don't have any complaints yet. They're a great set for anyone just starting to learn how to golf.

Best starter set out there
My five star rating is based on knowing this is a starter set and comparing to similar products, not higher end club sets. This is a great bang for the buck set. I played a few rounds nearly twenty years ago (play is a strong word) and back then my clubs were old. A recent job change required me to spend some time on the course (feel sorry for me) and I needed a new set of clubs that didn’t break the bank. Read a lot of reviews, talked to a lot of golfers and watched a lot of video reviews before settling on this set. Can’t beat it. Don’t see myself upgrading for a while. My only gripe is the putter but I can’t fault the set for that- I just prefer an older style and still use my prior one. Just a matter of personal preference. Now, I only have myself to blame for the bad shot...

Beginner- First Set - Complete Satisfaction
$188 shipped was an easy decision -- Male 40s left-handed taking up golf -- while grateful, i grew weary of renting old Lefty clubs that left black sticky grip residue etc .. After about 10 rounds suffice to say these clubs are an absolute joy-zero regrets. Driver/Putter are beautiful. The bag/headcovers are quality. The grips are comfy. Sure, its only 9 clubs so a long iron -prolly a 4iron- is in my future and likely that cool looking chipping iron too(looks like a putter). Sand/Gap wedges can wait .. i use the PW a lot- its solid. So, if you're a novice golfer and the price is right -- dont hesitate. Enjoy!

Best game ever
I played golf years ago with a set of clubs I picked up at the military exchange, couldn't keep the ball in the fairway to save my life. The ad for these clubs said they were designed to help new players hit correctly and were more forgiving than other clubs, they are. Had the best 18 of my life the first time I played with them! Made me actually enjoy playing. I would recommend them to any new player!

Great set of Starter Club
This is a great set of starter clubs. The 12-piece is a little confusing to me, but let me explain: This has Driver, 3 Wood, 5 Hybrid, 6-9 and PW Iron, and a putter. 9 Clubs 1 stand bag, 1 Driver cover, and 1 3 Wood cover, 3 Piece, making a total of 12 Piece. This is not 11 clubs and 1 bag. The bag does have a rain cover. This set does not have a Sand Wedge, which could be a great addition to have. These clubs are Steel Shaft on the irons, good for men, but a little on the heavy side for women.

5 Stars for the Price / Performance of these clubs - Very solid choice for a beginner
This review is for the RIGHT hand Callaway Men't Strata Set - I'm sure there is no difference for lefties. I'm an experienced golfer that plays with fairly high-end equipment that seems to get partially upgraded every season or two whether I plan to, or not. It's not uncommon for me to spend $1,000-$1,400 annually on upgrading equipment. Recently, I attended a 5 day golf clinic (all day, 5 days) more aimed at beginning golfers to work on some fundamentals since there are a couple things about my swing that I'm not happy with. One of the adult male beginners had this set of clubs he'd just purchased after using loaners on the range for about a month. I wasn't familiar with them, and had no idea what they cost him. My assumption from just looking at them was that they were a boxed set in the $700-$900 range probably competing with the Adam's brand. I had no idea these clubs could be had for around $200. I was partnered up with this guy for a 9 hole scramble on the second day of camp. For kicks, I asked if I could hit his driver. I hit a very low spin 240 yard drive right down the fairway with one practice swing - this is a normal drive for me distance-wise. I was impressed - again, still not knowing the price tag. For the rest of the round, I hit his clubs. They were fine... they really were. I thought the putter was a little light, and the woods were a little light at the club head (but honestly, they just felt like the Ping G30's to me... hit like 'em too). I don't think using his clubs for that round cost me a single stroke - in fact, I think I probably lost a couple strokes because all 5 of my drives were essentially straight. The irons and hybrids carried well... no issues at all. I've messed around with starter clubs before, and years ago (many), I burned through a few sets myself. The quality of these clubs surpasses other starter sets I've played. I'm surprised that these clubs can be had for around $200. It seems to me that they're quite the bargain at that price.
