The Orlushy Submersible Aquarium Heater 300w is an astonishing reuslt. The thickened quartz glass is a 2mm thick glass and it prevents the glass from exploding and cracking. The heat stays very consistent. It is a very reliable product to buy for fish farming.

Great design plus outside-tank digital thermometer

This heater has a separate corded thermometer that hangs on the outside of the tank to a suction cup. It lifts on and off the cup easily so it can be mounted in an obscure spot and lifted to where it can be read and then put back. My particular heater runs about a degree higher than the setting, and that's well within my tolerance range. (I compared the readings to two other thermometers that were giving me the same, 1 degree higher reading.). The design is also more appealing than the one it replaced. Has stylish design and brightly-colored adjustment knob. the knob is built to act as a pointer so it's easier to see where you're setting it. Definitely recommend it.

Works well. The thermostat is way off like all others. It's set at 73 to keep a 20 gallon at 80 degrees. It does hold it to 80 great though.

Good little heater.

Works great! My fish are happy. It is more a short compact heater which is great for my 10gal. Slight over kill but I wanted an adjustable heater.

Saved my fish from freezing!!

Saved my fish from freezing!! Literally!! Mý other heater wasn't working then mý actual central heater went out making it 49degrees and fish tank water was sooo cold it wasn't even registering the temp. I took some water out and added hot water to mý 55gal. Tank to help raise water temperature. Put new heater in tank and fish started moving around more. Y'all when I say they were freezing I mean they were FREEZING so much that I thought 2 were dead already. I took 1 and put him in the toilet to flush him but was caught off guard when he started moving around. I immediately retrieved him and placed him back in the tank. They ALL SURVIVED!! I was SHOCKED!! POOR FISH!! Came in next morning and they are all swimming around like so happy again. I wish these heaters had some way of letting you know when they aren't working well, because mine kept showing the red light coming on. And it was the heater that came with the tank. So glad I found this heater. It worked quickly!!

So far so good

I needed a new heater for my 37 gallon tank. So far this heater is doing its job very well. The temperature is nice and stable. The thermostat is doing its jobs. The construction of this heater is pretty nice as well. Good value for the money.

Amazing customer service!

So far so good!! The temperature gauge is fairly accurate in my 55 gallon tank. The design is sleek and modern looking. The dial is a bit tough to turn with one hand, which I suppose is good in case you have large fish that might bump it. I did have a problem with the first one I bought, one of the suction cups was damaged and wouldn't stick. No biggie, but annoying nonetheless. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new unit in less than a week! And I get to keep the first one I bought! Excellent customer service. Will update my review if any changes occur.

My fish are very happy

I had been using a preset heater in my 30 gal aquarium which contains mixed tetras. I noticed that the temperature was not being maintained and the fish were very sluggish. I did a water change and put the heater in before adding the new water in order to make sure it is below water level when changing. What a difference having the correct temperature makes. My fish are active again and I am very happy.

Awesome heater

I use this heater in my saltwater aquarium for about a week now and it is GREAT. heat stays very consistent. already more reliable than a lot of other heater brands. would recommend to anyone with a saltwater or fresh water aquarium.
