Best mini cleaver I have ever used.

I absolutely love my Gladiator 4.5” mini cleaver. It’s everything I hoped for plus much, much more. It fits in your hand perfectly and is razor sharp. I use it everyday and has become an important part of food prep in our house. The questionnaire asked about gift ability. Well, I already bought a second one as a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. They also love it and use all the time. She said it’s great to finally have a sharp knife back in her kitchen. I would recommend this product to anyone. Love this smaller version thats every bit as good

A cleaver everyone can/will use. My wife is scared of our big cleaver so finally she doesn't try to break down chicken with a paring knife. I also love it for smaller game birds and cuts where the big cleaver is just a little "to much". These are often gimmick knives but Dalstrong put all the same quality into this as all their knives!

FIVE STAR CLEAVER IN MINI SIZE

I tend to use a single cleaver for all of my Asian inspired cooking and when it was time to setup my new apartment I choose the Dalstrong mini cleaver. I give this five stars for easy grip and size compared to standard cleaver but performs just as well or better. FIVE STARS

DALSTRONG does it AGAIN !!!

Awesome for thick tough veggies like carrots and all manner of larger and even tougher root veggies that chefs knives just can’t handle. SUPER AWESOME for breaking down fowl. This is my first cleaver with a point that seems to be able to "find its own way" thru joints. Too small for beef bones, but for beef bones I don’t use a cleaver anyway. For that heavy a level of chopping I prefer my Gerber 9-Inch Hatchet (available on Amazon). This is my fifth Dalstrong. It will not be my last.

This is a game-changer for raw vegetable preparation!!!

I have to make my own meals from scratch because of allergies and sensitivities to processed and fast-foods. I've seen so many people on the cooking channels that I watch on YouTube using cleavers to slice vegetables, so I decided to try one to find out if it was easier to use. I wish that I had bought one of these a lot earlier. My 'acid-test' was thin-slicing and 'match-sticking' carrots. I almost cried at how much easier it is with this, not just because of it's sharpness, but also because of the balance and curve of the blade.

Purchased this as a gift for my mom who’s an avid cook. As soon as I took it out of the box she fell in love with it. The knife is amazing. She has been using it so far to cut filets and chicken and the blade has been very sharp, no problem at all cutting through anything. Totally five stars, looks like I’ll be purchasing another one for my sister.

Little bitty cleaver with a whole lotta power.

This little cleaver is a lot of fun. It's small enough that it's really easy to use, but it's heavy enough to still be a cleaver. I'm not much for using cleavers in the kitchen, but I can definitely see me using this a lot when butchering poultry. I won’t go into the bloody details here, but I think of a lot of uses for this little cleaver through the whole process from the dispatch all the way through parting the bird out. And even if I don't use it much, it'll look pretty sick hanging in my kitchen.
