Seller replaced the original knife I had purchased due to the defect, the replacement is almost perfect in every way, super fit and finish on par with that of a professional knife costing at least twice as much. Edge is very sharp out of the box and well balanced. Most importantly to me it is Damascus.

Feels and cuts so good. Beautiful as well.

OK to start off with. It is as beautiful as the picture. Next, razor sharp out of the box. Feel and weight most excellent in my hands. Cuts like a dream. I wish I hadn't waited so long to get this. Yet glad because my company gave me a $100 gift card so this was the first thing that came to mind. I looked at many others. I had $100 to play with. This one won my choice even over the more expensive knives. Now for durability. For this i say at least a year of use. I will post again updating my review. I can only think a chipped edge or if I find the metal soft would cause me to drop my review. I'm liking everything about this knife so far.

Well made, very sharp, beautiful

I can not believe how gorgeous and sharp this knife is. My husband is thrilled and excited to finally have a good chef knife. We unboxed it and tested it out last night. It can cut the hairs off your arm and is evenly balanced when placed on your finger. It is extremely well made. It has a beautiful design on the blade and woodened handle. My husband says it fits perfectly in your grasp when cutting. We are extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend this product.

Quality knife at a bargain price

My wife is the chef in the family, and sometimes I get to help her with the prep work. I'm not as good as she is, so I wanted to get myself a better knife to try and keep up with her. That is when I found this knife. It has a cool laser pattern on it resembling a Damascus style, which gives it a bit of flair when holding it. As for function, you can feel the quality when you first pick it up. The handle fits nicely in my hand and the wood feels extremely comfortable. The entire knife feels balanced as well, which is something you want with your blade. I felt more like a pro while I was cutting and chopping vegetables. In addition to function and form, the initial presentation also is a pleasant surprise. The gift box is a hefty recycled cardboard so your knife won't be damaged in shipping. Gorgeous Knife! Functional, too!

This knife wowed wowed me as soon as I saw it. The blade looks great as does the handle. It was very sharp out of the box. I've cut steak, fruits, and veggies with this knife, and it's worked perfectly for all of them. It would make a great gift. Very happy with this knife and can easily recommend it.

Good product

Love it bought it for a Christmas gift and I really don't want to let it go. I used it to be sure I wasn't given my mother trash, but this unit is sold. Beautiful, sharp, balanced and it bites and melts what ever you cutting. Hate to say it but much better than my $200 forshner

I never thought that this product is so good, it is very smooth when cutting meat. I also use this chef's knife to cut sushi, I felt comfortable and effortless when i hold the wooden handle.And I got a mini sharpener and a knife sleeve too,never thought that this purchase is so cost-effective.I will buy a chef knife for my friend next time.
