A required tool for any beer enthusiast.
Had my first fillup yesterday at our local brewhouse. Pretty sure I sold about 100 of these things within the first 25 minutes of being in the bar. I've also had several friends interested enough to purchase one themselves! Growlerwerks should put me on their payroll! Or at least send me a free one for my awesome sales and marketing efforts (this thing literally sells itself). ;) Overall, the quality and design of this beast is rock solid. I've had no issues thus far. I only typically have a beer or 4 on the weekends, so the remaining 4 pints will sit for at least a week. We will see how it holds up! So far, loving this purchase and could not be happier with it.

Such a great fun useful beer device.
Awesome product, there were some startup issues with excessive drips. Disassembled the spigot and found some debris on spigot gasket, cleaned it and since then no significant drips. Over 6 months of ownership with several fills from far and near. Very enjoyable to own and share with people. I love the copper. I am considering the stainless as a future purchase to have 2 kinds of beer in fridge. I think I've helped sell a few as I have taken these to get togethers and gatherings. If you are a beer drinker, consider this as an investment in quality enjoyment. I bought a bulk order of CO2 cartridges directly from Whip-It for significant savings so I am well stocked for quite some time for chargers.

Lives up to the hype!
I purchased this for my husband for Christmas after he saw it advertised and just about lost his mind over how cool it is. It has lived up to the excitement. First of all, its aesthetically beautiful. Nice and classy looking enough that I let him set it out on our counter for storage with our other stainless steel appliances. It also works as advertised. He had it filled yesterday and the beer was great last night, and is just as fresh today. He had it sitting out for several hours last night and it kept the beer cold. It fits nicely for overnight storage in our refrigerator. Setting up the CO2 cartridge was easy, and the how to instructional videos available on the growlerwerks website are also convenient and easy to access. I am excited to try out some of the other mixed drink recipes suggested by growlerwerks. The nice thing about this uKeg in comparison to similar products is that you can fill it with whatever beer from whatever vendor you prefer. Several similar taps require the purchase of a mini keg for each use, which limits your options to only mass produced beer. If you're more into craft brews, this is well worth the purchase price.

No Negatives Here!
Had I read the reviews before making the purchase, I'd've had second thoughts. However, my own experience, thus far has been absolutely positive. It's obviously a very high quality piece of equipment. Installing the presure canister was a breeze. Everything seems magnificent. absolutely no leakage. The enclosed manual and packaging give the impression of a company truly interested in customer satisfaction.

One of the best products for a beer lover.
What can I say? This is is amazing. It keeps my beer cold and well carbonated. Fits perfectly on the fridge door. One of my friends even had some flat beer. I was able to force carbonate the flat beer quite easily after it cooled back down. (Colder the liquid, the less pressure you need to carbonate it.)

Functioning unit delivered - great results!
I was nearly turned off by all of the negative feedback on this product, I will admit. But I also figured that Amazon has a great return policy in the event I purchased a growler with a manufacturing defect. This is a great gift for the beer-lover in your life! I was truly impressed with how cold the beer stayed and the level of carbonation. Flavor remained pure and bright on the IPAs for much longer than in the growler bottle. We've wanted a "keg-o-rater" for a long time, but haven't been able to justify the investment. This amazing growler fits the bill perfectly and accurately reflects our consumption. Now we can get a growler from the brewery once every couple of weeks without worrying that we have to drink the entire thing in one night. Love! Ease of assembly: it took probably five minutes out of the box. The number of pieces did appear a bit overwhelming at first, but the instructions were decent and we had it assembled in no time. Pro tip - make sure to pour your beer in the growler with enough time to let it rest. We got trigger happy and tried to pour a beer immediately to see how it functioned, and naturally that first pour was incredibly foamy. Let it settle for a couple hours before enjoying to maximize the usefulness of the growler. (I mean, if you plan to drink your purchased beer right away, what's really the point of a storage system like this one?) Is it worth the steep price tag? This growler is well-within the market we found. I worry about the price only because the number of people that have had problems with this particular brand. We, however, received a well-functioning unit, so I'd say it's worth it at this point. If you get one that doesn't work, I'd advise you to return and replace it with another. Because when functioning as it should be, as ours has done for the past few weeks, this growler is a game changer.

Best Gift Ever!!!
Bought it for hubby for Father's Day! He is LOVING it! He has refilled it twice so far, first time finished the beer off in 2 days, Second time went 6 days says the beer was still as fresh as the day he first got it from the Brewery. Best Gift Ever!!!

No more flat beer
Well made and designed. Small leak between gooseneck and spigot, Growlerwerks technical support was very good and helpful and quickly sent out a replacement part. While they may have had issues with earlier versions the three that I have purchased are well built and should last a long time. Be prepared for lots of questions when you go to fill up your growler from staff and patrons. Ignore a lot of the earlier negative reviews as they are not representative of the current version available. Go to the Growlerwerks site and watch the "How to" videos before you buy and you will better understand the difference between the uKeg and other CO2 type growlers. I have refilled 3 times, in the month I have owned and had no problems.

Works really well for force-carbonating home-brew
I bought this in early 2017, primarily to force carbonate home-brew. It works extremely well with no leaks, and it holds pressure perfectly. I have since moved onto 5-gallon kegs for force carbonating and use the uKeg for serving in my refrigerator and for transporting to share with others. I highly recommend watching the UKEG FIRST USE PRIMER video on the Growlerwerks website under the "How To" tab. Based on that content, I'm guessing there were some early manufacturing (no design) issues that led to some of the poor reviews/experiences by the very early adopters. I had none of the issues (that could have easily been corrected by following instructions in the video) addressed, but it was reassuring to know I received a perfect product. To force carbonate, I filled the growler using a bottling wand, then cooled the beer to about 40 degrees F. I then installed the cartridge and cap and opened the valve to full pressure. In a week I had perfectly carbonated amber ale. I then turned the pressure down to about 6 psi. I did have to use a second cartridge after drinking the first couple of pints. This is because force carbonating uses the majority of the first cartridge. If force-carbonating home-brew, I do recommend under-filling so there is more surface area for absorbing CO2. You can also rock the growler on it's side, back and forth, for 2 or 3 minutes to expedite carbonating the home-brew, like with any keg. After force carbonating, dispensing beer is just like any commercial beer you might fill the growler with. In that case, one cartridge is plenty for dispensing the full volume. Through all of this I had no leaks, and it held pressure flawlessly over the course of two weeks. I did get a drip or two every time I dispenses, This is because some beer get caught in the spigot. Just tilt the growler forward after pouring to dispense the captured couple of drops into you glass, or use a bar towel...or both. It's a non-issue for me, as this is an excellent product.

Extreme craftmanship. Tools included now.
This is my first growler and I think I have done well. I filled it with my favorite IPA at a local brewery. I had watched the "how to use a ukeg" video on YouTube and it went very smoothly. The barmaid had never seen a ukeg before but she did an excellent job bottom filling it. The instruction said to put the screw cap on myself to prevent cross threading it. So I did. Then I set the pressure to about 7 psi as suggested by ukegwerks. I brought it home and poured a glass. There was a little excessive foam. But the second glass was better. I would keep it closer to 5psi. The aroma and flavor were just like how it is at the brewery! I am not a heavy drinker so 4 pints will last me several days. Besides, this IPA is 8.5% ABV. Excellence! The tools, 2 CO2 chargers, and a O-ring is included. I should have bought the two 64oz package so that I can enjoy two beers at the same time... Addendum: It has been 3 days and my last pint is just as fresh as the first pint three days ago. Excellent!
