No more injured toddlers.

11 hours before I installed these straps, this very dresser was laying on top of our 18 month old. This dresser hasn't had knobs of any kind on it for many years. I refinished it over the weekend for our 13 year old daughter and put new knobs on it and put it in her room Sunday night. Her younger siblings play in her room sometimes. A few hours into work on Monday morning, my wife called and said the dresser fell on top of our baby. We assume she saw the new knobs and climbed on it. The dresser was heavy for a grown man like myself to move it around to paint it it. Our baby is ok. She only got a bruise and a goose egg bump on her head. I took my time installing these straps (I actually bought them at Home Depot because I needed them ASAP) to make sure that dresser didn't fall again. It is pretty easy to install. The different clips are label for TV, furniture and wall. The furniture hooks do stick out from the top of the dresser, but that was the best place to install them where the wood would hold the screws tight. I read one review where the reviewer mentioned how ugly these are by sticking out the top of the furniture and gave it fewer stars. It's a baby safety device. It's not meant to look pretty. It gets 5 stars because it will keep the dresser from tipping over on somebody else even though it sticks out. Safety first. It's sturdy and the dresser isn't going anywhere now.

Works great, easy to install

Sturdy

We just purchased a thinner TV stand and we were worried about it tipping with out TV. It was pretty easy to set up following the directions and seems sturdy enough it will not fall if it gets knocked into by the kids or dogs. I really like how it connects from the TV to the stand to the wall.
