Right out of the box this instrument works so simply I fomyself testing several sources. I was very pleased to discover with it that I have reverse osmosis water available at my workplace, which I didn't know. You can use it to tell when to change water filters rather than rely on inaccurate estimates .

I just got the TDS Meter Digital Water Tester and I like it. It works as described (ready to use right out of the box), and was very good value/price/quality. It is nice to have batteries included. It's very easy to use, and definitely a plus to have to test the water in my house. I like the water info sticker they have on the tester as well.

Very easy to use...I been testing the tap and filtered water everywhere I go with amazing/surprising results 😮

I bought the TDS water tester two weeks ago and .I put it in a cup of bottle water and i got Green light and number 7 on the purity. Then i put it in the water of my osmosis system .The screen turn RED and the reading was 576 witch the water is contaminated .The problem was one of the carbon filters ,I replace it and the reading went back to GREEN and number 12 witch is perfect.I think everybody need a water tester meter to know the quality of water and secure our HEALTH....

This works well enough, is easy to use and the readings are reproducible/reliable. I bought this to check my tap water to see if it is suitable enough to water my orchids, turns out it’s not as my water is softened and has a TDS reading of 419ppm!

Public Water here was so bad it blinked RED. Showed my friend and neighbor. 2 weeks later got letter from Water Department stating how bad our water was. We all now test our water, both public as well as our Bottled Water.

My tap water read 111 ppm, which I believe is correct. A 1/4 tsp salt solution was 5200 ppm. Temperature reading of the tap water was 28 C, and EC was 236 uS/cm2. Not too sure about the EC. Usually measured in milli S/cm2, but the meter reading is in micro S/cm2. Conversion of EC to ppm was ridiculously high.

Very impressed, especially for the inexpensive price. I tested my tap water (135 PPM), purified bottled water (36 PPM) spring water (32 PPM) and distilled water I make at home using a countertop distiller machine (4 PPM). Results are instantaneous. Amazing. Would buy again.

We use this tool to evaluate our RO drinking water system - rather than change the RO filter (expensive) based on how old it is we use the TDS evaluation to guide us. Our tap water runs 450 TDS and our RO water 15.

Appears to work as designed. Osmosis purified water reads 10 and tap water reads 300+. Unfortunately, neither the Pur water filter at the tap, nor the GE fridge inline filter, serves to lower the reading much.
