Great Packaging For Easy Access

I am very pleased with my purchase. One of the reviews complained about the packaging, but this package had 200 sheets whereas most of the other choices had only 100, so I thought I would try SmarTake. Turns out the packaging is one of the best features. The box is sturdy. Don't just rip into it ! You have to cut into the perforations on the package to get it to open as shown in the first photo, but perforations show where to cut. The stack of papers inside is tightly wrapped all around with strong white paper. Partially pull out the wrapped white inner package and tear around just the top few inches of the white paper to expose the parchment sheets as shown in the photos. You can then easily pull them out one by one. The box fits handily in the drawer where I keep my rolling pin. I have baked biscuits at 450F twice. The sheets are an exact fit for my half sheet pan and easy to fold and tear in half crosswise to fit a quarter sheet pan. I don't think I would reuse the sheets I baked. the biscuits on, but they were very buttery biscuits. For cookies baked at 350F I should be able to reuse sheets once.

The paper is slick

I found the paper to have superior grease blocking qualities...withstood 425 degree heat for over 30 minutes while not burning or scorching. Does not fold easily for cutting.

Love that it's unbleached and already cut and in a box

Perfect size for my 1/2 size cookie sheets from a club store. I can really cook a dozen cookies on it and clean up is super easy.

Convenient & affordable

I love having these sheets handy. I opened the box flap and leaned the package against the wall on a counter behind a pitcher that's always sitting there, and can easily grab one when needed. I suspect the package of two hundred may last me years, but I use one every time I throw something on a cookie sheet now. Sure makes clean-up easier. A dandy investment of less than twenty bucks! :-)

Why did I wait 50 years to buy flat sheets of parchment paper? Shipping box easily converts into a strong flat container and slides into side of shelf, making it easy to pull out one sheet at a time. It fits on a half sheet pan with no trimming, no fighting curls and excess paper. I have been using it for everything, from baking, roasting meat and veggies to freezing layers of food. After reading ATK reviews of parchment paper I carefully compared available products and selected this one. Priced less than the role paper I had been using, no waste, no fighting curls, just perfect. This product is not reusable , but I wouldn't reuse a sheet anyway.

Where have I been?

After watching my favorite baking show where parchment paper is used regularly I decided to try some. I've used Silpat mats for ages and thought they were fine, but this is so much better I couldn't get over it. My sticky cookies came off so easily and cleanly I was amazed and no cleanup was required. Just toss the used sheet. Can't believe I've spent years doing it the hard way when such a product was available. These sheets come in a nice form fitting cardboard 'envelope' that makes removing one sheet quick and easy and keeps them nice and flat so they instantly lay down perfectly on a half sheet pan, or can be cut to fit other size bakers. I cut several rounds for cake pans and some to fit loaf pans so I'd be ready to pull out the correct size as needed. Very pleased with this purchase.

Precut Parchment sheets

The reviews talked a lot about how difficult it was to open the cardboard box so that you can easily remove a sheet at a time. I found those concerns to be over-blown. I used a utility knife to help open the box along the marked lines. Worked like a charm. I love the sheets and the ease with which I can remove one or two at a time.
