It works great! The brightness is adjustable. I read where some customers had issues with adjusting the brightness. To adjust the brightness you have to hold the on/off button in. If you tap it repeatedly it will just flicker or turn off and back on. I purchased this for quilting design (to trace onto plastic template sheets) and my ScanNCut (weeding vinyl). It works well working with both. I would certainly purchase this again.

I had this only 3 days. It comes with USB cord. But no official plug. Problem is some electrical USB plugs are high energy electrical for cell phones and etc. This Light Board uses very little energy. When I plugged a standard cell phone plug for the official cord to the Light board. It was too much energy that the USB plug tip in the board started burning and fried the electrical board. I advise the company making this great product, to get with someone to design a low power plug for outlet so doesn't burn the interior of the board for over-charge.

Got this yesterday. Plugged it in, pressed the button, and it was ready to go! The brightness is adjustable, which is also a nice feature. I got this for use in making watercolor paintings. I take an image, then put the watercolor paper over it, and trace the outline. You can do this by taping everything to a window, but it is awkward. This little lightbox was so bright, I could easily see through the heavyweight paper well enough to trace easily. So much better! We homeschool and my kids were also fascinated. My son likes to draw comics and he will find this very useful in learning the craft. Highly recommend!

Wow! This is the 3rd light pad i've ordered in the last 2 weeks to replace one i've had for years that finally bit the dust. I sent the other two back because they did not work for various reasons. I decided to buck the trend and looked for a light pad that artists would use. I was so happy when I unboxed this! It feels more substantial than the generic black model everyone's using for diamond painting, it is a BIT heavier, but no one holds it up anyway....it's usually on a board or easel. Taking off the protective sleeve I noticed that it didn't have the measuring rule across the top/sides, but that's not something I need. The USB adapter is a bit different than the other two...it clicked when i slid it into the port and actually stayed there - even when I moved and tipped the pad. It feels like it will definitely stay in place, so no issues there. It doesn't have that annoying black "screen" pattern on the surface. That might be useful for eye protection for someone that is using the pad for animation or just playing around tracing something EXCEPT.. that IT HAS MORE THAN 3 brightness levels!! It's easy to use - push the button, it comes on...push it again and it goes off. If you push the button and hold it down it gradually gets brighter & when you take your finger off it stops. If you keep holding the button down it will go to the highest brightness setting and then go back down to the lowest. YOU can actually determine how bright you want it to be. I posted an example of it under a diamond painting at about mid brightness, and it was perfect. At the highest setting I got it to show thru Canson 140lb watercolor paper. Not only does this pad come in the generic black I mentioned before BUT also Grey, Apple Green and Pink! The box also included a little user manual with very clear instructions and asks that you let them know if you have any suggestions about making the product better. What can I say...3rd time's a charm. I highly recommend this pad and the company that makes it

This light pad is awesome! It is lightweight, bright and easy to dim if needed. Great product for the price. I use it for weeding vinyl, and it’s amazing! Makes weeding so much easier because I can see the cut lines so well. Highly recommend.

This is my first light box and I like it. The cord is long enough to attach to my power strip which has usb slots. It doesn’t come with a plugin for the wall so you need a power strip with usb slots or your own plug. I didn’t have to tape my pages down because the screen gripped it pretty well. You still might need to depending on your paper texture but I was happy without having to. I would rather have the brightness at the max when I power the light box on but you have to press and hold the power button to get max light. So far this has been a great addition for my drawing and tracing outlines on watercolor paper. 300lb. I can’t wait to get creative with this.

I have wanted a light box for quite some time. I decided on the LITENERGY Portable A4 for it’s size, price and great reviews. The product arrived in perfect condition and works as described. I’ve attached a couple of photos using a Christmas card as an example, and it worked perfectly. I look forward to using my new light box for future art projects. This is a great addition to any crafter or artist’s ‘tool box’, I highly recommend it!

I purchased this light board as it was one of the more affordable ones on amazon and it had great reviews. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but I love it. It’s very bright. I paint with watercolor and it cuts my outline sketch time down drastically if I use it. It’s bright enough to see the image clearly through 140lb watercolor paper. And I feel confident that it would work with thicker paper as well. It is dimable, though I personally only use the highest setting. It is very light and thin, and just slightly larger than average printer paper size. It requires being plugged in to use. I don’t mind being plugged in, but the cord is pretty short and probably the biggest drawback honestly. However, I’m sure you could use a portable charger to “solve” the short cord issue. I use to use a glass table and a flash light as a makeshift light box. This is 1000x better, it’s easy to use, takes virtually no time to set it up, and stores super easily. I’d say it’s a must have for any art hobbyist. I’ve attached images of the light pad working with 140lb watercolor paper. And the final product of a painting when using the light pad.

I purchased this to use for sorting photographic negatives and slides, and it's going to work out just fine. I really like the adjustable brightness and light weight of the device., and the size is perfect for working on a desk or table. Even the lowest brightness level is enough for sorting negatives and slides. For tracing, it's great with nice even light. I'm sure I'll find other uses for this device in time. I'm happy with the purchase.
