It ROCKS!

I never tumbled rocks in my life so I purchased a tumbler. I just picked up rocks and pebbles from my land and started tumbling. Some came out cool and fun looking, some were just gravel. So I purchased this refill, all the stones/gems are super cool. Anything from Hematite to Jasper to Rose quartz. Kit contains 3-1 lbs bags of assorted stones/gems plus each of the four tumbling grits. It has an identification booklet and concise instructions. Pretty easy to follow...1 bag of rocks and 1 packet of grit...2 bags of rocks and 2 bags of grit and so on. The stones were all cool rough but can't wait for them to be polished. This kit will work on any tumbler no matter the brand.

Great little tumbler

I was super happy with our purchase! Only downfall was the step 4 powder. Our rocks turned out awesome, but were not shiny. Turns out after some research that you need a different step 4 powder. This is easily fixed by purchasing some aluminum oxide which I found cheap on Amazon in a refill kit. The tumbler itself is great though!

Great Rock Polisher for the price!

I purchased this for a Christmas Present for one of my granddaughters. I saw cheaper ones but opted for the heavier one and am glad I did. Works just like a more expensive one I have seen. The rocks came out perfect!!! I ordered extra sand and rocks and have found that it will give her many hours of activity with this rock polisher. When she comes to visit me I plan to help her make jewelry from some of her favorite rocks.

My son loves his rock tumber, and this set comes with so many gemstones. You will need to have a rock polisher, as this is a refill kit. It comes with three 1 lb bags of gemstones and enough grit to process all of the gemstones.

This is always a great gift for my grandson. I will be getting his before and after tumbling pictures any day now. He is always delighted with these kits and has his prized collection of favorites.

Easy to use my 11 year old set it up. Not to messy. Fun Science experiment seeing how the rocks get polished and turn into a jam.
