Chemical free, Use everyday

I keep one at home and one at work to get my daily intake of water in. I have a medical condition that makes it especially important for me to drink several liters each day so I really appreciate the large size of these jars. I also really appreciate having a large container that isn't made out of plastic. I bought "sleeves" to protect these jars and have found them to be very sturdy with the exception of one lid. I especially love the glass straws because there is no 'taste' added to my drink while it moves through the straw. I knocked one jar off my bedside table and it hit the hardwood floor on it's side - the lid cracked and fell off. I don't feel the lid breaking is a flaw with the product. Honestly, if it had been a regular glass, it likely would have shattered. The jar and straw were fine.
