Awesome printer! Arrived in 2 days and took 2 hours to build. Packaging was top notch, actual printer box with foam came in a larger Amazon box with packing paper. Easy and fun to use. Came with a ton of accessories including a full hex-key set, 2 wrenches, a spatula, pair of snips with rubber handles, zip ties, micro SD card with USB adapter, extra screws and a boatload of extra nozzles. Great value for the price, would recommend to newcomers and pros alike.

This is my first dip into 3D printing. And I am loving it. I have found a lot of useful videos on YouTube pertaining to this exact model, as well as face book groups dealing with the Ender 3. Set up was very easy, and watching YouTube videos while doing it removed any possible confusion I could have had during the process. Some fine tuning is needed, especially if you are new to the game. Print Bed leveling can be a headache, figuring out what temps you need for your nozzle and bed for certain filaments is always fun, but you quickly get the hang of it. If you are looking for a cheap 3D printer that produces prints comparable to a machine 4x the cost, the Ender 3 is what you need.

This is a very highly underrated printer. Good quality prints are easy to accomplish. Start slow, pay attention to details. There is a ton of FREE Software available to get you going in designing and producing your own prints. I have made several upgrades to my printer already. The printer comes with step by step instructions and there are MANY YouTube videos that help you get into this hobby. Already thinking about another printer to supplement this one. Package was great, no missing or damaged parts, they even sent extra bolts and other hardware. I had one issue with the bed being warped, but this was solved quickly by AMAZON. This is a common problem, getting the bed LEVEL and flat is the key to making the printer work properly. I was able to compensate for the slight bow or warp in the bed and made all of the accessories that are visible in the picture.

For the value it is an amazing printer. I’ve changed it out for the .2mm nozzle and though it is slow, the detail is awesome. For the price it is hard to do a lot better than this printer. Set up isn’t the easiest thing to do, but it doesn’t take any serious technical knowledge. Anyone used to putting stuff together should be able to build it with little issue. It’s worth noting. These are not totally consumer level devices. There is a certain amount of technical knowledge that is required for good prints. Anyone who picks one up should realize that there is a learning curve and it can be frustrating. Otherwise, it’s a great printer for the price.

I don't write many reviews but feel like I should. This is a great first printer that is easy to learn and use. It is my 3rd printer and really wish I had gotten it as the first one. Go check fb users group for it, a great asset. If you are debating getting a printer for you or as a gift you really should start with this. It's gaining popularity fast for the right reasons.

Ya five stars, you get this machine dialed in and you will get perfect prints. Take your time putting it together don't overtighten the screws. Well worth the money.

I have 3d printed for a while, I have a davinci 1.0 (repetier) a davinci jr.The ender3 wow is amazing. I prints beautiful. Both my davinci printers are hacked or modded. so to put together the ender3 was cake. it does require some 3d/ electrical/ diy/I can build this knowledge and attitude. My son helped his only 7. so with that in mind. it is a great printer. It will require some tinkering. But worth the time. I have not touched my davinci printers since.

I have quite a lot of experience with 3d printing and picked up this machine to add some more production capability for a large order. Assembly was quick and easy, with nice instructions. The machine comes with all sorts of extra tools and parts, which was a fantastic surprise! It has everything you need to build and maintain the printer. The only negative I've found is the build plate came slightly warped, which can be fixed with a glass bed (which I recommend anyways). I'd also recommend calibrating your extruder steps/mm, as mine was underextruding quite a bit. Overall, I love this printer.

TLDR: Great printer for n00bs. Watch YouTube vids BEFORE you assemble or maybe even purchase. Not perfect but worth a 5 star rating over all. I started with this guy. It was a bit interesting to setup, and I screwed up at first. Then I took to YouTube and figured out what I did wrong. Since then I have been improving. Now my prints are coming out great, almost no artifacts. This is one killer little machine. If you're coming into the word of 3D printing, I would advise watching videos BEFORE you buy the printer. There are many options out there and I will say, this is a GREAT printer. In my opinion the best for the $200 price area. I do need to warn you that the hot end is not that great. It can handle the basics, PLA, ABS, PETG, anything that runs less than 250. But my other printer has an E3D clone, and that prints smoother and handles heat way better than this guy. So for advanced stuff I use my upgraded CR-10. (Yes, more Creality, they make good stuff IMO) As per what I had heard about Creality, the bed did warp after a few months of solid printing with the heat on. I will need a replacement shortly as it is really starting to affect my prints. There are upgrades you need to print immediately for your unit. Cable chains most of all, the way the default cables move and position themselves out of the box make them rub on things and wear at the mesh cover for the wires. My cable for my bed actually bent around the left leg and would almost get stuck. So yeah, cable chains. I will say though, I do not in any way regret buying this printer. There are so many reasons to do it if you're thinking of getting into 3D printing.

This is my second 3d printer. I've had it for a couple weeks now. I bought this ender 3 mainly to 3d print a new x-carriage for my ancient ROBO 3D R1. Which I purchased from Amazon in 2015. That being said I really enjoying the Ender 3. It's not the highest quality or the fastest 3d printer out there, but for under $300 including a spool of PLA you can't beat it. I gave it 5 starts because after I assembled the few pieces together it does what its supposed to do. There are two things i don't like about it. The first and biggest issue is the knock off Melzi Board. it's a really cheap board with a locked bootloader. second would be the bed springs used to adjust the bed leveling they're also subpar it get kind of annoying having to adjust the bed leveling every couple of day. If you're a beginner looking to spend less that $300 to get into 3d printing i would definitely recommend the creality ender 3
