watch the threads
These are great. One caveat, though. Use "no bind" or " anti seize" lubricant from the auto parts stores on the threads. These fittings are aluminum, and if one connects them to brass, the galvanic action will weld the pieces together....permanently.

Finally a High Quality Hose
This is the second hose I have bought from this manufacturer. The first Zero-G hose I bought was a test run to see if it could last more than one year, (compared to the expandable hoses that are complete crap). Well it has successfully lasted 2 winters in Ohio, and they won me over big time. To be clear, this is NOT an expandable hose, which I like, but it is very easy to coil up into a small space. You can definitely tell they did not skimp on quality of materials, or quality or manufacturing. I highly recommend this hose if you are tired of the junk expandable hoses breaking after one season.

Best hose yet...so far!
I give it 5 stars...so far. I always read the one star reviews before I buy any item. If it can happen it will has always been my belief when buying any product. However, i have been so impressed with this hose that I have replaced all four of my hoses at home. Two I use with an automatic water pressure hose winder so they get plenty of stress placed on them. The only thing that I can imagine why people have given them a one star is the company's quality control. I just ordered my 5th one to give to my daughter. If I have any trouble I will update my review. Hope this was helpful. Warm regards, JGW, Athens, AL

Fantastic Hose, perfect for the HVAC Trade!
I'm in the HVAC trade and we use water hoses quite often to wash out condenser and the occasional evaporator coils. I wanted to see how this hose was going hold up before I posted a comment on it. Construction: The build quality of these hoses is better than expected, rugged for what it is and so fare has held up very well. No signs of wear, no leaks anywhere. Looks like the makers of this hose set off from the start to produce a quality product and in my humble opinion, mission accomplished. The outside of the hose is some kind of tough flexible fabric, sorta reminds me of and rolls up like a fire hose. The metal connections are perfect, they screw together with no leaks so far. This isn't some QVC, cash on delivery piece of junk hose, so buy with confidence. Use: The hose has a flat memory orientation if that makes any sense, so when you roll it up it will stack up on top of itself. You have to make it move from side to side to completely fill up a reel winder. I keep both sets of these hose rolled up on the "FreeReel", and I honestly don't know how I operated without these in the past. I no longer have to fight the big green hoses that constantly kink and take up a huge amount of space. The hose has a rubber liner inside so they will expand somewhat when water is applied. This works very well in situations where water pressure is low, as it applies brief added pressure as the hose returns to it's original size. Very helpful in rural areas with homes on well water. I was looking a for a hose that I could wind up on a reel as I hate winding hoses by hand. I stumbled onto this hose by complete accident and I'm so glad I did. The 50ft version of this fits perfectly on the FreeReel and I have two sets of these. When I need water I walk up connect the female end of the hose to the outlet, then start walking away as the hose unwinds behind me. Connect my Nu-Calgon spray nozzle and I'm working. No unraveling hoses! When I'm done, pull the hose out straight, empty the water out, roll it up on the FreeReel, and put it in the van. Easy Business! Final thoughts: This is a Superior product in every regard, I love it! When I finally manage to wear it out or break it I will purchase another without hesitation. Yes, I would recommend to relatives and friends.

My favorite water hose
I use this w/ my heavy duty electric pressure washer. I needed to keep the hose attached while I store the unit. This hose is so compact, I can wrap it up w/ the pressure washer no problem. I've purchased many more of these in different sizes for various reasons and am very happy with them. They are sturdy and very well made. I think you have to do a lot of damage to them in order for them to fail.

So good, changed out all my hoses around the house
Waited to review this until after a year of use. It has held up well, no leaks and as advertised, very lightweight flexible hose. Doesn’t tangle up as easy as plain rubber hose. Great product, all my hoses around the house are now this brand.

but I am in love with it
I have only used it a few times, but I am in love with it. lol This replaced 2 lengths of expensive goodyear hose that was a decade old. I now use those hoses in my back yard as the ones I had back there are complete junk and had been repaired half a dozen times. So far I have on cons, just pros regarding the hose. It's light weight and compact aize when depressurized make it easier to manage and store than any hose I have ever had. The volume of water seems to be about as good as my 7/8 goodyear's so I am happy with it's performance also. Time will tell if this stands up, but i have a couple hose mending kits ready for when it has issues, and replacing the liner with bulk stock from home depot is about half the price of this already very aggressively cheap priced hose.

My Favorite Hose of All-Time!
I was a little leery and not sure of what to expect. After using the hose for for a couple of days, I realized that it is a game changer and I ordered a second one. I removed my heavy (2) 50' and 100' foot hoses and stored them in the basement, hopefully never to be used again. The Zero-G hoses are super light and very easy to maneuver and work with any where in the yard. Kinking is not an issue. I now have (2) 50' hoses, one for each Bibb. I have a quick connect and a turn off valve on each one so that I can within a matter of a minute, combine the two to get a 100' when needed and then go back to a shorter hose at other times. When you turn the water off and open the valve the hose quickly deflates and can be rolled up and carried anywhere very easily. The hose literally weighs under 5 lbs. The only question is durability, but if you are one to take average care of your hoses, I think it will last just as long as the traditional hose.

I love this hose!
I bought 2 50ft hoses. This is the best hose I have ever purchased! As a landscaper, I've purchased the expensive never-kink hoses for years which always kink within the first month! No hoses are kink-free! Even this one. However, the difference between this one and the rest is that the kinks are very easily pulled out. This hose is extremely lightweight- I sometimes use 2 50ft hoses together and they're much lighter and easier to handle than a regular hose. To make putting it away easy, you have to roll it up while it's still full- not a big deal. One issue I have is that it gets tangled easily when it's rolled up and I'm moving it from job to job- again not a big deal. The benefits of this hose far outweighs the tangling. It's easier to untangle when you turn the water on and allow the hose to fill up- don't forget to use a shut-off valve at the end! I've recommended this hose to many of my clients and they are thrilled with it as well.

Fantastic Product
The product is exactly as advertised. After buying 100', I bought another 50'. When comparing hoses purchased from home improvement stores which claim to be "kink-free" and lightweight, there simply is no comparison. As a 73-year-old who does all his own yard work and landscaping, I have purchased many many hoses at home improvement stores. Professional-grade, kink-free, rubber, nylon, webbed, etc., etc., and they ALL kink and are extremely difficult to drag around the yard and store. I spent more time screwing around with the hoses than actually watering. The Zero-G is extremely light (especially when not filled with water) and flexible. I have yet to get a kink in the hose while dragging it around. Far, far superior to rubber, nylon, etc. hoses. The only thing I cannot comment on is durability. How long will it last? Don't know. What happens if it freezes? Don't know. However, I will not leave it out in the winter to see what happens. So, if you're tired off dragging a heavy hose around the yard and unkinking it every time you move it, the Zero-G is for you.
