Nice ergonomics. Plug and play.
This is my size 6.5 lady hand with the mouse. I was concerned about it being too big. It is definitely larger than the mice I am used to. It’s a bit of a stretch to reach the 10-12 keys with my thumb. I use different computer stations each day for my job and this has been plug and play after the initial programming. Overall this seems more ergonomic and comfortable at the end of the day. I wish they had provided a direct link to the software download on the insert card or in the follow up email I was sent. The software is straightforward and the mouse was easy to program. I’m happy I tried this mouse and hope to get good life out of it given the abuse it will probably take.

Not just for MMOs
I bought this mouse on a lightning deal without doing any research about it. It really surprised me. I always thought I preferred finger/claw grip, turns out I was only using those grip styles because my mice were too small. This mouse is rather large, but fits my hand perfectly. The side buttons are harder to press than I'd like, I understand they don't want you to accidentally press them, so I am okay with that. They have very little travel before engaging the switch. The primary buttons take very little force to press and there is no dead zone when clicking. The scroll wheel could use a higher detent pressure to make scrolling more tactile, its fine when scrolling down, but scrolling up has very little resistance. The cord is well made and doesn't get easily snagged on things, plus the velcro strap lets you easily tiddy up extra wire. Although it's a laser sensor, it does not suffer the same lift off problems other laser sensors do. I don't notice any jumping when lifting. The weight system I find lacking. Your fingers grip the mouse towards the front, the back cannot be held up by your palm, all the weights you add go in the back, a lot of other mice do this. If you never lift your mouse, this won't be a problem. I prefer not to use the weights and keep them in the nice case that came in the box. All together, this makes a great core mouse (left, right, scroll wheel) that is very comfortable to hold. It suffers some of the same problems the most other MMO mice suffer, but they aren't deal breakers. 10/10, would buy again. Will update if anything goes wrong down the road.

Redragon Impact RGB LED MMO Mouse
The mouse came in a sturdy plastic box with a snap seal on each side, making it resealable for transport if needed. Pros: The mouse has a good shape to rest your hand on for long usage. The attached cord is rather long at almost 6 feet. RGB lighting is customizable with the Red Dragon Software. It has the typical solid color pattern as well as several other patterned lighting effects such as breathing and wave patterns. DPI settings are very customizable with multiple cycles of usage. This is done by presetting the DPI profiles using the software and can be changed by using the top buttons below the scroll wheel. Also this mouse has a rapid fire button next to the left click mouse button. The mouse has 12 hotkey buttons on the left side of the mouse that are programmable with the software. These buttons are slightly tilted the opposite direction for each row. This makes it a lot easier to tell which button you are pushing without needing to look at it. Cons: Not so much of a con ... the mouse has a covered compartment on the button of the mouse to put in or remove weights which is a nice extra feature most mice don't have, however I would have liked it to be a bit heavier with all of the weights added. Overall I particularly enjoy the mouse.

Much better than I expected
I expected compromised quality, but this mouse is giving my $200 Razer Naga Epic Chroma a run for the money. The Redragon is beefy, but a lot of that material is exactly where I want it: in a set of "wings" keeping my thumb and pinky finger off of the mouse pad. Despite the large footprint, it fits my small-ish hands surprisingly well. I'm ordering a second one just in case they discontinue this model before my first one dies at some point. The buttons aren't mushy, and everything has a nice solid click to it. The software isn't perfect (lighting settings require some guesswork), but it is simple and doesn't require a login or anything extraneous (unlike Razer Synapse). I have no complaints, which is a welcome surprise at this low price point.

Ease of Use!
I think that I picked the right mouse! It's definitely easy to use and setup. Aesthetically pleasing and feels good in my hand. Many adjustments to choose from. The only thing I've found that is a little annoying is when my computer reboots the setting for speed of mouse goes to fastest and it's hard to control the mouse pointer till I open the software and fix it. Overall though I give it a thumbs up and would purchase the product again! (Gamer, WOW/Diablo/Fallout/Path Of Exile/ Skyrim/ Far Cry/Tom Clancy and many other games. EDIT: Have had the mouse for a few months now and I can say I do still love it!! Apparently an update on the mouse software also fixed the speed setting so the setting stays what I had it when the computer reboots. So changing my rating from a 4 to a 5!

Better than big brands.
I've owned a Razer Naga Epic, a Logitech G600, a Corsair Scimitar Pro, and a Utechsmart Venus and this blows them all out of the water. It is hands down the most comfortable and smoothest mouse I have ever used. I loved the Utechsmart Venus, but after I upgraded my keyboard and mouse mat to RGB, I was a little sad that the Utechsmart Venus was only blue. So I got a Corsair Scimitar to match my K90 Platinum and Corsair mouse mat. It worked great, but it felt awful and cheap. The RGB lighting didn't even do a proper wave effect like the rest of my setup. I found myself wanting to go back to the Utechsmart Venus. Then I was randomly looking at top lists for MMO mice and this caught my eye. Ever since I got it, I find myself just randomly putting my hand on the mouse, even if I'm just watching Netflix. It just feels so nice. So, essentially it's a Utechsmart Venus with a slightly different shell. I bet if I opened the mouse, it would be the exact same hardware. The software is even identical (and the software is super simple and straight-forward). But it actually has an RGB wave instead of just blue or jumping color to color! Matches my Corsair peripherals better than Corsair's own mouse. I had to dock one star on material. This is due to the Utechsmart Venus feeling a lot more rugged, with thicker textured plastic. Like I said, I love this mouse, but the material feels like that slightly rubberized stuff that's going to wear off very fast. We'll see. For now, I 100% recommend this mouse. I'll be keeping my eye on more Red Dragon gear in the future.

Very detailed design for Game Player
The outlooking design is very cool, suit my hand very well. Also the LED light match the Alienware keyboard well. The cable is looks like fiber looks very strong. I like the weight customize, 8 weights can adjust the move feeling, very nice for FPS game. The 12 number keyboard is very useful for Dota and LOL. And the DPI control can adjust the sensitivity during the game without enter the setting. Tips: This is mouse is only support Windows XP/Vista/Win 7/ Win 8/ Win 10. But I used on my Mac also, only the 12 buttons cannot be recognized other buttons still works well.

The Lighting Effects = Wonderful, Peformance = Superb, Feel = Comfortable, Software = Feature Rich.
I've been extremely distraught, and in physical pain, after my 100$ (Armaggeddon Alien_Craft_IV G17) optical gaming mouse went kaput nearly two years ago after it had an internal chip malfunction and thus wouldn't stop disconnecting / reconnecting every second with windows and flashing the DPI lights up and down repeatedly etc... Distraught not just because of its 100$ cost tag, but because it was the only mouse that i found and owned after going through multiple dozens prior of different brand model mice of varying featured shapes and sizes etc., that actually was made perfectly contoured to my hand size and finger placement etc... Using the Armaggeddon Alien_Craft_IV G17 optical gaming mouse, I found my problems from tendon arthritis and carpel tunnels and nerve spasms etc., virtually all but eliminated... Since losing the Armaggeddon Alien_Craft_IV G17 optical gaming mouse, I have since been through another dozen different mice trying to find a replacement that was the same size and shape that would also alleviate my physical ailments and suit the relaxed placement of my hands and fingers --- note: all of them to no avail as they looked good but did not feel good. My recent mouse that this Redragon_Impact mouse replaced was the Gskill Ripjaws MX780 RGB Wired USB Laser compact gaming mouse... The Gskill was awesome regarding its physical looks, the lighting effects, software use, interchangeable accessories etc., but was atrocious (being a compact mouse) for handheld comfort in the palm of my hand and widespread (spaced apart) relaxed placement of my fingers --- note: while causing my carpel tunnels and tendon arthritis and nerve spasms to flare up to the point of paralysis from the stiffness. Then i finally found this (Impact) model mouse by Redragon brand... I decided to give this mouse and brand a try, and am truly and extremely glad that i did come across and buy this... This mouse is wickedly cool regarding the different lighting effects and software programming functions for each profile... It is very easy to setup and use software wise... And most of all, it is perfect via its large wide thick size for the widespread relaxed placement of my (flat palmed) hand and (spaced apart) fingers without having to bunch them up into a clinch fist 24 / 7 like with others... The physical size was almost the exact same, with the physical shape kind of somewhat identical, to the Armaggeddon Alien_Craft_IV G17 optical gaming mouse that it replaced... I instantly - noticeably began having no problems again with my carpel tunnels and tendon arthritis and nerve spasms, of which virtually seized to exist when using this mouse... I almost forgot how comfortable a mouse could be, as i can and have been using this mouse for hours at a time with no physical problems that would require me to take breaks every 15 - 20 minutes or so... If you want a really comfortable mouse that you can be relaxed with, then look no further as this is one excellent mouse for hand comfort and finger placement... It is large, wide, beefy, and easy to handle, control, and move both smoothly and consistently... The programmable keys on the left thumb side of mouse are easy to reach and operate with either the tip or indexing of thumb. The physical quality of the plastic and overall entire craftsmanship is superb and very high quality with both... It's quality budget computer mice like this one from Redragon that forces the big corporate brand names to slash their prices to compete or go out of business... I am impressed with the quality and honestly wasn't expecting much physical quality wise, but the plastic feels strong and not brittle or flimsy or weak or hollow etc. All the buttons have a nice tactile feel and clicking sound, and function flawlessly... With the programmable keys on the side, each and every one (so far) performs the app function and command that they are assigned without any issue or conflict... The scroll wheel functions great, albeit is a little over sensitive even on lowest setting and so have to scroll down or up very slowly with one or two or three clicks at a time versus guitar stringing the scroll wheel up and down as i am accustom to doing with other mice... The DPI button switch functions perfectly for the five different levels and profiles, and lights up nicely to illuminate which level setting that you're on --- note: if you can even remember what the DPI speeds are set at for that level. The lighting effects of this Redragon Impact mouse are stunning and marvelous and mesmerizing... If I remember correctly, there is 8 different lighting effects to be chosen for each of the five profiles --- note: only one lighting effect can be utilized and saved for every one individual profile and cannot be cycled through... However, one of those is the option to choose no lighting at all and is not trully a genuine lighting effect... My favorite lighting effects for each of the five profiles is Wave, Reactive, RGB / Rainbow, Flash, and Breathing... I have the lighting set to medium / normal, as to prolong the lifespan, but may increase or even decrease the intensity over time as i see fit too... The lighting effects are superfly fabulous cool and very gorgeous, really attractive, and totally extreme... My favorite one is the "Wave" effect, which is set for my profile #1 that i am on now as default. The mouse is super - super fast with crazy DPI speeds... The only thing that i don't like is that the DPI can only be increased or decreased in 100+ or 100- increments and not smart set to whatever number digit amount you prefer within the confines of the maximum and minimum DPI allotted... Nonetheless, most of the DPI speeds are too fast for me and so i personally keep the mouse set between 1000 - 8000 DPI speeds. The software is simple to understand and use and migrate around in... The only problem experienced is that the software freezes and hangs a bit when trying to either click on and switch to different profiles and or applying / saving settings to the mouse etc., and can take in excess of 30 seconds before the software responds and is available again for further editing... However this not a buzzkill for me personally to deduct a star over... I am not a gamer and did not buy this for gaming and game programming... I bought this for comfort and fashion via the lighting effects that it provides... However, I was extremely delighted to see that the software allows the programmable thumb keys on left side of the mouse to be individually programmed and set for different app programs and windows command functions outside of games and game commands... Thefore i have since programmed the left side thumb button keys for my volume control and most used app programs and media controls etc... The fact that the software allows one to program each and every individual left side thumb button key on the mouse for anything they want to utilize the key for, is a major plus for me and should make this mouse appealing to others also. Overall (Below), I am enthralled with this mouse... If the Armaggeddon Alien_Craft_IV G17 optical gaming mouse was still made and sold then i would've bought another one... But I'm trully glad that i bought this mouse and got to experience it... If this mouse was ever to fail for whatever reason, I definitely would buy another one as i know now that my hands and fingers take to the mouse and my carpel tunnels and tendon arthritis and nerve spasms don't flare up when using it... This is an excellent price deal for this computer mouse and well worth it for me considering the alternative of physical pain that i was in with the other mice... I am delighted with this mouse very much and highly recommend it unto others... I have no regrets or negatives worth really deducting a star over... It excells in performance and definitely can compete on par, in my opinion, with the popular big corporate name brand mice --- note: but at a significant fraction less of the cost... I just hope this mouse lasts a long time, because it is now my favorite to use.

Another Great Mouse from Red Dragon
I first learned of Red Dragon from a Linus Tech Tips video where he went over the top budget mice/keyboards, and Red Dragon came up. I bought their 12 dollar mouse and was so impressed with the quality that when their newest MMO Mouse came out (The Impact) I had to get it. It came up as a lightning deal and I'll tell you, I would pay full price for it. I am constantly impressed with the quality that Red Dragon can manage for a price that would communicate otherwise. The Impact is a great MMO mouse that fits my needs and with a price point that no other mouse in this price bracket can even touch. Red Dragon may not have the brand recognition of other companies like SteelSeries, Razor, or Logitech, they still hold their own in this crowded market. Pros: The addressable RGB is done tastefully, the logo on the mouse, plus scroll wheel and the side buttons light up with several different options of illumination. The DPI setting gives you four different modes, that light up to tell you which one is on. The size is great, it's smooth on the sides, with more grip on the top. The included weights are great, and allow you to customize the weight of your mouse. Braided cable is a great touch as well for a mouse in this price range. Comfortable grip as well (I have big hands so this is nice) Cons: Not many but here they are Software: It was a little bit of a pain to find the software to download which allows you to change the settings on the mouse. I wish a link or something was included in the box it came in. Size: okay I have big hands so this isn't an issue for me, but if you have smaller hands, this mouse will seem huge to you. It has 12 buttons on the side, plus your usual top two, plus a sniper/auto fire button to the left of the left mouse button. All these buttons are great, but if you have smaller hands you may struggle a little. (remember it's called an MMO mouse for a reason) All in all this is the third Red Dragon product I've purchased (I'm typing this review on their Red LED Kumara mechanical keyboard) If you haven't purchased from them you should. My friends are constantly impressed with the quality of their products versus the cost. None believe me until I show them the listing on Amazon. Buy this mouse if you are in the market for a good solid MMO gaming mouse. And if this isn't your style, they have TONS more to choose from.

Great Mouse!
Exactly as advertised. I checked out its competition at other retail outlets before buying this one. The Redragon feels more substantial then the name brands. I personally prefer the layout of the Redragon as well. The Redragon has aa contoured pattern to the side buttons that makes it easy to hit the right button. The button manager is easy to use, with separate profiles easy to access and set up. I whole heartedly recommend it.
