Heavy duty coated wire rack is durable and stable. I bought it knowing it was too tall to fit inside my fixed height cabinets but was looking for a way to organize my heavy cast iron pieces on my countertop in a single footprint and to get them off my stove top. The 4 slots nicely accommodate my 10 inch round items including deep skillet with lid , open skillet, and griddle. Whereas I do not think another 10 inch item would securely store on the top 5th wire “shelf”, that shelf does nicely accommodate my 8 inch tortilla press just fine. I can stuff my cloth tortilla warmer in where the press handle sticks up, too. It looks ok setting on the counter and I now use cast iron most days. I like the single footprint, being able to pull out what I want to use without lifting them all, and not having to keep things between them to keep them from scratching, I may later sew a dust cover for the filled rack with opening leaving handles sticking forward and make matching hot pad handle covers.

This is a really neat, flexible item. You can either set it upright or set it on its side. Upright, you can either set it on a shelf or attach it to a wall. My only complaint is that it is optimized for a slightly smaller group of crying pans that I own. So I couldn't put on it the land that take up the most room. Nonetheless, I was able to put two medium size pans, one small crying pan, and a medium frying pan lid. Since I had all of them stored in the large pan drawer underneath my stove, so this rack managed to alleviate some major over crowding. One caveat. The product copy text says that it is a five tier rack. That may technically be the truth, but I find the top tier to be unusable. I really see it as a four tier rack. But I nonetheless see that as helping my crowded kitchen in a major way.

I have owned multilevel pan storage rack in the past, however this is by far the most solid and well made one I have ever seen. Most are just wire hardly thicker than a coat hanger but this one is over a quarter inch of solid steel with an enameled coating to protect your pans. The spacing between each level is wider than average to accommodate almost any frying pan I've seen. And unlike any similar product I've seen it can be fastened down to the cabinet bottom so the whole thing doesn't move or tip over when you remove a pan. And the fasteners are included. Not a fault of the product but something you need to be aware of is that at twelve and a half inches this rack is high. Considering the space you require to use the top level you need 15 inches vertical space in your cabinet. I know that because the cabinet I wanted to use it in has a fixed shelf so I only have about 12 inches of vertical space. What's nice is that the rack can be used horizontally, requiring less clearance. For me the solution was the pull the seldom used drawers out of one cabinet so now I have room for my five most often used frying pans in the space one pan would have taken, and they are all within easy reach right next to my stove. This is an impressive and well-made product and priced right, it is highly recommended.

This item is very sturdy and great for stacking my cast iron collection!

I bought this rack to hold my iron skillets in my cabinet, to avoid stacking them in each other; This allows for easy access to each skillet without pulling them all out in order to get to a skillet at or near the bottom. It's very sturdy, and currently holds 5 skillets for me (2 deep walled skillet/Dutch oven (one each on the bottom and top), 2 9-10" skillets, and a 9" round cast iron griddle. The rack can sit horizontally to insert skillets vertically (which takes up a larger footprint/space in the cabinet), or it can sit vertically and strong enough so skillets will sit directly on each rack shelf while taking up a footprint equivalent to a 10" skillet. The rack came with wall anchors for hanging on the wall; while the rack I purchased is sitting freely in the bottom of my cabinet, I highly doubt the provided anchors (only 2-1.25" plastic drywall anchors with screws) would be strong enough to support this rack when loaded with pans.

I have had a lightweight pan rack, that tipped over and would not hold heavy skillets. This is a heavy duty rack, made of cast iron, coated to prevent scratching. It comes with hardware to keep it in place if you don’t want it free standing. This rack holds 5 skillets. I have some nice non stick skillets in several sizes, and they are used frequently. But when stacked in a drawer, you need something in between them to prevent scratching. Plus you have to get all of them out in order to get the bottom one. I have my skillets now stacked on this rack, and it is strong enough to hold the cast iron skillets as well. The rack is attractive, so you can even use it on top of a counter. I have never used a rack that would easily hold cast iron. It is for skillets, but lids, pie and cake pans would also work. This will not hold tall pans, only the very top would hold a saucepan.

With small cabinets I have to pull out many items to get to what I need, and with hand OA don't need to be doing that. Decided to try a countertop rack for the cast iron and daily use skillets. I called Cuisinel to ask about the sturdiness of the top shelf. They sell lots of cast iron, said the shelf should take the weight, and if not return it. I just set it up, and the top rack holds a 10.8 lb Staub 4qt cast iron Dutch oven (lid inverted due to cabinet height) with no signs of bending. The bottom rack has a Lodge 4qt combo cooker (lid on a shallower shelf), and 4 assorted non-cast iron skillets in the 2 remaining shelves.

Cast iron pan organizer... where have you been all my life?! This organizer is simply awesome. I have 3 cast irons pans and it is SO nice to have a place to store them! It looks very nice on my countertop too!

We have 3 sizes of cast iron skillets that get used daily. This rack was the perfect answer to storing them. It is very sturdy & looks great on the countertop with all 3 skillets displayed. I love it!

I think this item is great. It's sturdy, It doesn't tip over and I have it on a shelf, It holds a bunch of cast iron pans. It's easy to get them in and out for use. I use it so the pans are level stacked on top of each other, not on their sides. Does exactly what I needed.
