Other than not having pre-cut holes for cables this thing works fine, and looks great in my mid--century modern home. Other reviews say it's tippy, but I haven't had this problem, and is easy enough to solve if you're crafty. It put together quickly, is strong and can hold a large number of LPs, the legs are surprisingly strong. My biggest complaint other than holes for cables is that it gets dirty easily, but it is semi-gloss white, so what do you expect. It's also heavier than you'd think, but that's likely a good thing

This is a cool vintage media console that I am using for my turntable set up. Upon receiving, the outside box looked a little beat up and was a little heavy carrying it in from outside. Opening it up for assembly was easy but once opened tons of styrofoam in tiny pieces poured all over the place. Be prepared to get yelled at reminding you to collect every single piece of foam after your finished. The manual states 1 hour assemble time but took me about an 1 1/2 as I did it myself but it does suggest that it’s a 2 person job. What’s time consuming was inserting all the screws, dowels, and other pieces needed before putting it all together. I did need help turning it around once the main portion was completed to access the back to attach the panels. It’s true what others have said about the back panels being a bit to small or need to be lined up perfectly as the screws did puncture through on my end. I also agree with the drawer bottoms, they are very thin and I don’t recommend adding a lot of weight to them. I initially was going to store my Pyle receiver inside to hide it and make room for other items to store on top but with the durability of the inside drawer I decided against it. Overall, it is a great product for the price and seems like it will hold up for years to come.

Absolutely love this product. I was searching for something like this for so long, and this is exactly what I had hoped to find. I was slightly weary ordering something like this online but I couldn’t be happier. The company behind it is really cool too, ended up following their social media pages and hope to buy more of their furniture in the future. The piece is very good quality for the price and style too. The directions said it would take an hour to assemble with two people, but I did it alone and it took 2 hours. I recommend finding a power drill and someone to help at least holding stuff in place while putting in screws. That part was tricky with only two hands. However, viewing it all set up was very satisfying and well worth the effort.

Arrived sooner than estimated. Does require assembly, but if you have assembled basic furniture like a desk or coffee table it pretty straight forward. Instructions are easy to understand, similar to IKEA instructions, but not difficult at all to follow. Looks great with our furniture so if you have dark colors like browns etc it will match great. It has 4 divided sections for albums plus an extra shelf above for more storage. Overall very satified.

This piece is gorgeous and looks great in my home. It has literally revolutionized my house - I play records all the time now! So thankful for this purchase. Love it!!

Bought this for my Son (newly obsessed with vinyl records). Took me a good 4 and a half hours to assemble (at a leisurely pace...probably could have cut that time in half if I'd just focused on the assembly and nothing else). I will say up front I HATE cam locks. They're made of cheap porous metal and will break if not careful. I've assembled dozens of furniture pieces with these cams. They are molded cheaply and quickly which can cause the cams to either have flaws (burrs that get in the way of locking capabilities) or they're not fully molded, so the cams are more rounded in areas and the cams do-not-lock. I have a gorgeous desk assembled with these cams. I love this desk, but every three to four weeks I have to lay under the desk with a flashlight - open one of the drawers and reach up into a corner with a screw driver to re-tighten the one cam that comes loose on it's own. If I don't tighten it (over half a turn - the cam bolt loosens almost completely out of the cam) the whole drawer section will sag in the middle. Eventually this is going to break, but I've managed to remember to tighten it every month for the last 6 years so... Aside from the cams and the occasional cam bolt splitting the cheap pressed board material during assembly (hidden/unseen when finished - so that helps), and the metal wires that hold the records (also not fully molded - so they pop up/wont stay in on a few of the holes that they insert into - or - they are melted on the ends/not cured well enough, so they are big blobs that wont fit into the holes they are supposed to go into), I'm happy with the purchase (about 135.00 w/tax). A little more R&D at the Factory and this could be a perfect piece. I still give it 5 stars - as it truly is a beautiful design and looks amazing when complete.

I was happily surprised by this record stand. It's cute, sturdier than expected, easy to assemble, and fits my vintage beast of a reciever and turntable perfectly. For $80, I'm happy.

Exactly what I wanted! Package was easy to open. Lots of broken packaging and resulted in some vacuum clean up. Assembly took a total of 45 minutes from opening package to placing furniture in desired spot (you will need a hammer and screw driver; packaging includes a hex key but I recommend using your own as part of a interchangeable hand screwdriver). Used an H4 hex driver; PHillips 2 head. Love the color combo of white and blue; am now able to store all my records, cassettes, CDs, & PSone gear in one place. I like the clearance under the furniture (allows for a clear clean view or putting something underneath; I’ve put my external subwoofer under to keep things compact in my small apartment). Seems sturdy and able to hold all records. The dividers are useful and I think pretty important to the structure. You could make a hole in the back board for cords easily and include stereo equipment on the top shelf (height is 10" so pretty spacious).

I ordered this for someone else and assembled it for them. It is a nice stand. The assembly can be a little tricky for one person to line up the three upright panels and getting all of the holes lined up to put together. Other than that, it was easy. I did use a small drill bit to drill the holes for the back panel to make the small screws go in straight and easy. They are small and a pilot hole helps get them in. I also put wood glue on all of the dowel pins to assure that it does not loosen over time. It is easy to clean the excess glue with a damp towel and makes a sturdy stand. Very clever looking stand.

I was super skeptical of buying this because of some of the reviews, but I’m glad I did. A “vintage” version of this exact same thing would sell for much more. It holds all my records well and the drawers are smooth. No damage to it at all. The only issue I had was that it arrived a day later than expected, but thankfully I was in no rush. It was easy to put together (I did it by myself) and only needed help carrying it upstairs in the box - its 78 pounds and awkward to carry. I only used a screwdriver (it said you needed a hammer but I never actually needed to use one). I’ve put together lots of ikea furniture and I would say this is about the same as that, if not a little easier. Just follow the directions closely and you’ll be fine! I don’t normally review stuff, but I hate to think that I almost didn’t get this because of all the bad reviews. If you’re looking for an ikea-quality record stand that is stylish, affordable, and easy to assemble, I highly recommend it!
