My fish are alive

I went on a 22 day trip. I was worried because I have 1 betta and 4 fish. I tried those drop in food tablets when I had just 1 betta and it worked but my water quality was horrible because of that food gel. This automatic feeder was a huge success I had plugged it in and it worked even through 3 power outages.

Great feeder!

It works pretty well. You can push 8h, 12h or 24h feedings and there's a manual button for in between feedings. You can also adjust the amount for the food that comes out. For my 45 gal tank I'm almost on the smallest setting. In combination with a fish feeding ring underneath it, so the flake food doesn't float directly into the filter, it works perfectly. I use it all the time when we're gone for a weekend trip and my fish are doing great. I love it!

its different from the others i have

I'll start with the good. it not only attaches to the tank like every other feeder out there, it also has a base that you can simply place on the hood or cover of your tank. it has an 8 hour setting that allows you to feed 3 times a day and none of my other feeders has that. it comes with 2 different size buckets witch is an awesome bonus to me. Moving on to the great. This thing is battery operated like all others i have used in the past ...... but it can also be plugged in to any USB adapter to power it through an outlet and saving batteries is always a GREAT thing. there is a down side to it but its not so much a downside on the feeder so much as the packaging. That is that there were no English instructions so i had to figure it all out on my own.

Simplicity and reliability are the keys to this feeder.

Love this feeder. My wife and I are traveling for a month and we are comfortable our fish will be alive and well when we get home. It was very easy to fill and set the timer. We test it for a week before leaving home and our fish recognize the very slight sound it make when it rotate to dump their foo and they gather around ready to eat.

Great Fish Feeder!

Overall I found the feeder easy to use. With such a great seller I wouldn't expect any less than perfection, and they definitely delivered! They gave fast and easy feedback, and were willing to listen to my suggestions which is something I find valuable in a product as well as a company. With their hunger for knowledge about any problems or suggestions for their device, I found myself amazed. The product itself came with the wrong language instructions, but after I informed the seller of this error they replied within the hour to send me the proper setup booklet. It sits very well over the feeding hole of both my 10 and 20 gallon tank. I love the fact that you can customize how to feed your food in so many ways. The ability to change the amount of food to the tiny amount necessary in order to not overpollute my tank was nice. The autofeeder drops just enough so my nitrate levels won't skyrocket! It's almost as if I'm feeding them myself with how exact it is to fit my fish's needs. While using it my ammonia levels have not skyrocketed and I haven't noticed any issues like the other seller had with his fish flakes. More than likely the issue with his food getting stuck was user error, because I have been using it for a bit with no problems. It also depends on your food type; this feeder is specifically made for pellets, but will also work for flakes. You also have to make sure you crush the flakes before putting them in. It's common sense that if they're too big they can clump together and block the opening. I crushed my flakes and I haven't had any problems. Overall this was a great product, and I can't wait until I get paid so I can order the Wi-Fi fish feeder as well to test that one out for when I go on really long vacations.

Gets the job done!

Packaging was great and straight out of the package it was straight forward easy assembly, three different feeding time modes which is nice feeds at the same time twice every day I would recommend this product to anyone with fish tanks that does a lot of traveling!

I was asked in review about suction power. I am not sure why cause this works on a gear, a timer, and a motor. If you found this thing because your looking for suction move along there will be no suction. If your looking to feed a single fish that survived the death of his fellow gold fish left alone for 4 days every week then you found your feeder, this is the one for you. Sebastian turned 5 weeks yesterday. May I not find him in the pump next week.

easy to use

Great auto-feeder, easy to use, no programming needed. The apparatus keeps moisture out so food will stay fresh. Had it for a week now, no issues.

We go this for while we were gone for 4 days for Christmas. Our fish were fine when we got home and even the babies are growing. So looks like they all got enough food. Easy to set up and works great with pellets and flakes. we are pleased with its performance. I would recommend this item for regular or occasional use.
