Cute And Not-so-Annoying Toy

My 10-year-old daughter and her friends love these things. She recently got this baby elephant to add to her small but growing collection. My impressions... GENERAL IMPRESSION I was prepared to dislike this before it arrived. I really try to avoid toys that that make a lot of noise. But when I saw my daughter playing imaginitive games with this, along with her friends, I thought it was fairly cute. The color, size, and proportions make this toy kind of adorable. Even the noises it makes are not bad -- kind of mild and low-volume enough to be all right. Just in case, there's an easy-to-access power switch! The quality is good. The toy is made of a kind of heavier-grade plastic, which gives it some heft. The arms and legs are sturdy and attached firmly enough for my daughter to make it "grasp" things, and it holds on well. It seems that the toy will hold up to use. As a nice touch, it comes with a battery already installed. SOUNDS AND INTERACTIVITY The toy is supposed to make 40 different sounds. I haven't been counting, but I don't think I've heard 40 -- at least not yet! The toy interacts, making different sounds when patted on the head, rocked back and forth, tickled, or laid on its back. It also turns its head side-to-side with some of the sounds. CONCLUSIONS My daughter and her friends love these things, and they all have a few different ones now. As a parent, I approve, and find them playful and fun.

Fingerlings Gray Elephant

These are the cutest little puppets. They make crazy silly little noises and move when you put them on your fingers. A little hard for my three year old to keep on her finger, but she likes it as her pet elephant. My five year old has the dinosaur and loves it. These toys were a sweet idea

My kids aren’t always the gentlest, and the toy did just fine. It seemed durable. It is very pretty. It is made well. There are a lot of details to it, which are really nice. My kids can just spend hours with characters. It just beats them staring at a screen. This would make a nice gift, too. I would recommend it.
