Simply put, these napkins are of high quality. Upon receiving the package (which was shipped very timely), it was clear to see that this company did not skimp on the material - soft to the touch, with a nice rustic look. Had never heard of this home-goods company prior, however I'm excited to see what other products will be offered in the Abbot Fjord line!

We ordered these napkins for Thanksgiving this year, as our first foray into cloth napkins. They were absolutely perfect. The color fit so well with our Thanksgiving scheme and the texture is so soft. They were very easy to fold into different fun configurations and my kids had fun helping with that. Love them, and would definitely order more! I almost want to host more dinner parties just so I have an excuse to use the napkins! Thank you!

I've used a lot of cloth napkins with varying levels of "fuzziness" and some that had zero absorbency. Fuzzy is annoying because you don't want lint coming off of napkins, and a napkin should never fail to absorb water. These are perfect in that they're absorbent while also not linty. The color is perfect and they feel very durable. I originally bought two sets, but I plan to get many more.

So they are napkins, but they are good quality napkins. It was hard for me to justify spending extra money on napkins, but I am glad I did. They are a better quality fabric than my old ones. They have held there color nicely after being washed many times. They are also bigger than my old ones, so on taco night my pants stay clean; I always spill on taco night.

If you love the everyday luxury of high quality napkins, these fit the bill For the price; best napkins I have ever purchased Thick, with a wonderful feel No ironing needed! I love these napkins and plan on purchasing another set

These are great napkins! After ordering the Abbot Fjord apron over the holidays, I knew the napkins were a must-have when I found out they were made of the same material. With napkins, I hate when they are made of a non-absorbent material, like smooth polyester, that doesn't absorb any little spill or drip. Its similar to a non-absorbent towel - no good! These napkin are great because they feel nice but they also work they way a good napkin should. For people who appreciate a good neutral, the color options are really nice. The only downside is that the shape may change after the wash/dry cycle without any ironing, but the look is kind of rustic and cool. In the future, I'd love to see these napkins and the other AF products made in the USA...I'd even pay a higher price to see that reflected in the production, packaging, and company value.

Really like these. Nice large size. Feel soft but not too soft that they don’t work well. These will last a while.

These napkins are soft and color is beautiful. They have the vintage feel and will add elegance to any place setting. Easy to wash and didn’t wrinkle much.

These are a bit on he spendy side when it comes to my budget price point for napkins. However, they live up to their penny. I'm a HUGE fan of linen, and quality. These napkins do the trick for me. When they arrived, the first thing I noticed was the oatmeal color variance within the fabric - I LOVE this. It makes it feel much more natural and not man made somewhere in an automatic factory. The second thing I noticed was the quality of the fabric. My hands kept wanting to "pet" the material. It's so delicately soft and yet still has that linen texture I look for. Highly recommend.

These are a lovely linen. Sturdy, well stitched, great size. When I opened the Amazon box, the quality fabric and workmanship of the Abbot Fjord white linen napkins surprised me. First, I purchased eight napkins. Once they arrived and I had washed them, tried them out, and rewashed them, I was pleased and ordered another set for a total of twelve white napkins. I bought these and was not compensated for my purchase. The Abbot Fjord napkins remind me of the beautiful ones my grandmother used to pull out for special occasions. Quality from a bygone era. However, I don’t save them for holidays, but we use them regularly for my family of seven. We are trying to wean ourselves off the disposables that we have used for years. I do NOT usually treat stains or iron these napkins. I mean, we are using them daily and don’t have time or energy to fret. They look nice unironed. I might trouble with ironing for Thanksgiving Dinner with my grandmother’s Dresden China, but they are lovely unironed and presentable out of the dryer for dinner guests. So far, so good (one month of daily use). Spaghetti sauce has been the only stain. It was a shadow and not red at all, as spaghetti sauce on a Pier One cotton napkin stained. After my regular routine of the washing machine and Charlie’s soap failed to get it out, I was curious if the stain would come out and soaked a napkin in oxiclean on the stovetop as Abbot Fjord recommended. It did. FYI: The company will send you an email with a list of simple stain treating remedies, which was useful and on hand without a trip to the store. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and will order more when my budget allows.
