This little greenhouse is AWESOME! I bought it for seedlings and have been nothing short of impressed with the quality of this thing. It feels a little flimsy once you first put it together, but once you tie it off, it really does sturdy up. The only con to this greenhouse is the shelves. They are a very very thin wire, so not suitable for heavy plants. I ended up putting my seedling cups in disposable baking pans and they are perfect for this. I have already recommended this to a few people and on Facebook, and I definitely recommend it to you! You can’t beat it for the price.

This greenhouse has been amazing for helping us start our seeds indoors! We live in Oakland, California, so we have pretty mild winters and could probably get by with staring our seeds outside, but this gives the seeds a little kick start and protects them from critters. It was super easy to set up, and did have a slight smell at first but that went away quickly. I read several other reviews that talked about it blowing away, so we just placed a cinderblock on the back bar and we haven't had any issues. We do have a neighbor cat that tried to jump on to the green house and ended up ripping it, so just be mindful about where you put it. The rip hasn't really affected how well the greenhouse works though - it still steams up and gets nice and warm in there!

UPDATE: Okay, I have upgraded this from a 4 to a 5 in spite of the flimsy shelves. This was one of those purchases where it paid NOT to pay attention to the negative reviews. This little gem held up during some of the wildest winter weather I have seen since moving here. Almost all of the plants survived the winter and are thriving. The geranium kept on blooming all winter long in it. I actually need to repot the parsley. I am so impressed that I am looking at purchasing either another one of equal size or the larger one in preparation for next year. If the geranium can bloom all winter long, just maybe I can use the 2nd one for cold crop gardening. Once we are past our last freeze of the year which is normally around Easter I will remove the plastic cover. As for the flimsy shelves. I've been thinking about alternatives to the problem and I'm going to experiment this summer with some wire racks I found at the big box store. I can cut them to size with bolt cutters and cover any jagged edges with silicon to protect the plastic. I almost didn't purchase this item due to a few negative reviews. Granted I have only had it up a few weeks; however, we have already been unseasonable cold. Assemblage was uber easy. I bought it to help protect my citrus and fig trees in their big pots. I also was able to get in my large jade plant. A few smaller pots of flowering plants and some herbs went on the top shelves. If it holds up well through our colder months I just might purchase another one next year. Time will tell. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star review is that the wire shelves are extremely flimsy. I ended up layering 3 of the wire shelves on the top rack on each side to help provide support for the smaller planters.

Works great! My late tomato plants and mint did very well in the greenhouse during the very cold (20-40 degrees F) few weeks we had. And the design kept my tomato-loving pitbull from being able to smell what was inside. Total win!! I did leave out the shelves so that the interior was as open as possible. This did not affect the integrity at all. Still holding up very well.

Worked perfectly, assembled easily. Best price by far on the web. Recommended. I use mine for a cat 🐱 warming house in the winter.

These last anywhere from a year to three before you need a new top. I got my first two on clearance at Big Lots but they are reliably here. We put it on our big deck (make sure this thing is solidly down and anchored or you will get to watch it fly across your yard at some point in time I promise. It didn't happen to me, but it is pretty obvious. It works great and doesn't look bad at all. We have short growing seasons and can get some stuff to go for a few more weeks with this over leaving things out. There are two sizes. This is the smaller one. You can stand in the bigger one and have a bit more room. Putting them together is a bit of a puzzle so, if you like lego like puzzles you are going to like this. The weakness is the clear topper. I actually buy one just for the topper after two years as they get brittle. I take the old one off and check the plastic connectors and replace if cracked or looking too far gone and do a partial rebuild. and am good to go for another summer. This last winter up here was bad and we had pine cones go through the top before I could get the tarp on (also provides a bit of winter storage) and then the snow finally broke it down so, I did the partial rebuild and noticed that they sell versions with a stronger if greener top. The wife was OK with it and so we are trying that this year. I think I like the clear version better, but the green one is obviously stronger with support fiber in it kind of like ripstop. We will see. And this new top does NOT quite fit as perfectly as the clear ones even though the structure is the same. This is a decent solution to some gardening issues such as raising from seed, tomatoes in Montana etc. If you want to take it down and throw it away, it will take you all of about 20 minutes. You could do a new one each year and it would be worth it. It takes about an hour to put up and they are NOT expensive. Not bad at all. I get about two years out of them, have some extra parts and a storage area for "stuff" on the porch in the winter (rollable bbq) when I throw a heavy tarp over it and tie that down.

I've had this sort of greenhouse previously and the plastic will crack after about 2years constant outdoor exposure, so don't expect it to last forever. I found the assembly to be intuitive and easy, took me about 10 minutes to assemble using the diagrams provided. I needed a greenhouse for large citrus trees and a coffee plant in eastern NC. I don't want the temp to get below 53. i purchased a 200W personal heater (bright town or lasko), a remote temperature sensor (thermopro), and a programmable thermostat (inkbird) to trigger the heater to come on when the temp goes below a certain setting. i can monitor it from inside the house w the remote sensor. i set the plants on some boards, put the heater on a brick to get it off the ground--it has a safety off feature if it falls over--and can report that w no insulation and just the personal heater, the temp stays around 55 with exterior temps down to 27 degrees. We've had a few nights in the upper teens and i purchased rigid foam board for the sides (after cardboard got wet and fell apart but was doing the job also) and foil bubble ductwork insulation (no fiberglass) for the roof, and the temp stayed in the upper 50s even w external temps in the upper teens. the problem with the foam board and bubble ductwork is lack of light exposure, but in eastern NC, we have enough warmer days that i can remove the extra insulation often enough to give the plants enough light. a clear plastic tarp thrown over this greenhouse might work better? but doing the job, happy so far. certainly far easier to bring the plants inside but if that's not an option, and you provide some extra heat if you have really sensitive plants, works great.

Be sure and take plants out if you have strong winds!!! I secured the frame and strong wind gusts ripped the clear cover. If it's windy take the cover off!!! Otherwise this is a great greenhouse. Easy to set up and works quite well. Great price and has already survived a nasty hail storm!

This was a gift for my son, who has special needs. He loves to garden. We built this in our front room and it took approximately 30 minutes to put together. It is lightweight and he was able to carry it from our front room to the back yard by himself once it was put together. I plan on getting a second one for him.

Set up and breakdown is easy. I read the other people’s reviews to allow the plastic to warm up before placing it on to avoid tears. I laid it in the same while I was setting up the frame and it went over it easily after. I added a metal shelf in the back which made it perfect for all my plants I was trying to avoid having to bring in late autumn. It really warms up on a hot day so be careful you don’t burn your plants. Otherwise love it! Can’t wait to set it up again in spring and grow starter plants for my garden!!
