Helpful product

This is a neat product at a good price. It is easy to figure out and works well. I hope the stakes hold up over time but this is a handy product for when you go on vacations.

Update

I’ve tried different bottles and changed the way I put them in the dirt and they leak from around the bottle. By the time I fill the bottles and come in the house the bottles are empty. Since my last review I put some plumbers tape on the bottle openings and they now work fine.

Easy to use

Ordered this for up-coming vacation. Not too difficult to adjust the speed.

Great for keeping my plants alive when I am out of town!

I ordered the self-watering sticks to see if they would be useful in watering my plants when I went out of town for a week. They are great and easy to use, the most difficult part was obtaining bottles to use with the sticks as I don't really drink soda! They are easy to assemble and use. I have not tried them in my outdoor plants yet, but am interested to see if they will hold up and have enough water for those flowers and herbs. I would recommend these if you want an easy option for a self-watering system. Aesthetically they are not something I would use on a day to day basis, but great if I am not around and want to keep my plants and flowers alive!

Easy to use , helps protect bonsai

These self watering spikes have been so helpful to my bonsai trees. I use to worry constantly about forgetting to water my trees. I have two children under 3 years old and it's easy to get distracted and forget to water my plants. With bonsai tree's, if you forget to water them and they get too dry they are dead. You don't get second chances. I have a very busy life right now and these self watering spikes have saved my tree's more than once. They are well made and very easy to use. Simply attach a bottle and adjust the water flow. The colors both green and blue are both beautiful and vibrant. It's a very simple concept but a life saver literally for my delicate trees.

Great self watering system for vacation.

This is a simple and easy to use watering solution for the plants on my deck for you the summer time. They tend to dry out easy in the hot summer sun. I added two liter bottles for four my plants that require lots of water. This worked perfectly. I really like the fact that you can control the rate of water flow.

Great for convenience

Package arrived quickly. The materials seem to be a durable plastic. Set up is super easy, just add a water bottle and insert the spout. A little turn knob helps adjust the flow. Can be used with any threaded bottle, but I suspect it may need a support if using a liter or more
