Read the ATK review and decided on this model. I have made some amazing dishes and we are very happy with it. However i do have to say this is basically just an electric pressure cooker. I have not used it as a slow cooker yet but there is nothing i am doing with this that is not just a pressure cooker. It is much easier to use than a pressure cooker over a gas flame and it can be used as a slow cooker so i have a two in one machine. All the recipes basically say high pressure for x minutes and release either slow or fast.

I've only made a few things in this product, so a comprehensive review is impossible. I did a pork chop recipe and they were the tenderest chops I've had. Getting used to this product is going to take some time. I am single and need to cut down many recipes, so I bought the 4 quart version. Have yet to try the slow cook method. So far, so good. I would buy again.

I love this way more than the cheaper, more popular brand you see everywhere. There is a learning curve here so be patient and understand that pressure cooking, especially electric, is something that is learned over time.

I've only had the unit for a short time, but so far everything works fine. If I run into a problem I'll update this review. My old Fagor Lux unit decided to die without warning, along with the company. Zavor, which seems to be composed of most of the prior company's staff introduced their updated digital multi-cooker replacement. I decided I would give it a try. The new unit costs about the same as the old non-digital version plus it comes with a stainless steel pot and steamer unit, both items that used to be seperate accessories. The digital display and dial is easy to program while following the cooking directions. The unit reaches pressure temperature faster than my old one and the lid seal is more secure due to an enhanced design. So far everything I've cooked with it has come out perfect. Yes, I would recommend the Zavor LUX LCD Electric Multi-cooker.

Very impressive. It browns and slow cooks, plus the pressure cooker. The LCD control panel is wonderful - easy to see what you're doing without all the cryptic "buttons". Very versatile and excellent quality.

I purchased this after its review on America's Test Kitchen. It is a great product and works great with multi-cooker and Instant Pot recipes.

You know I was very skeptical about the whole multicooker thing. I read all these reviews and thought don’t these people know how to cook! My first thought was that fast meant not as good. I’m all about the flavor, the look, and the quality of food. What changed my mind was the reviews by American Test Kitchen. Ok I got it that it’s not as good as a sauté pan or an excellent slow cooker but if it would be satisfactory it would be perfect for our RV where space is limited. First thing, I bought the 8 qt. My mother cooked with a pressure cooker for years, a crowded pot is not good. I wanted to be able to make enough that we’d have leftovers for a day or two. So after reading all the reviews I decided I’d trust the Test Kitchen and go with the Zavor versus Breville. I gave myself plenty of time to get use to the pot before we leave for extended RV trip so I brought the pot into the house and started using it. First the plain old white rice, it was ok, not as fluffy as I’d like but I think reducing the water and time some, would make it better. Next I tried frozen green beans from my garden. I put in a little bacon grease, bacon bits and 2 quarts of green beans thawed. OMG! They were amazing!!! In vertically no time and all of them were bright green and cooked perfectly and highly flavorful. Much better than my sauté pan!!! So I’m hooked and I’m an excellent cook before and after the Zavor multicooker! I highly recommend it. Don’t buy the cheaper pots I think Test Kitchen was right!!

This is a great multi cooker. I’ve cooked beef Pho, beef bourginon, chicken and butternut squash stew...and so much more! It’s been very handy with my meal prepping for the week and I look forward to the next few meals I make with it!

Arrived packed perfectly. Great multi cooker and will use over and over. Also does not take up too much room
